I’ve been using Microsoft ergonomic keyboard for long time until it broke. I was searching for a new keyboard and they were either very expensive or didn’t look comfortable. Until I’ve found this one which was reasonably priced, had both UK and US layout, ergonomic layout, hand rest, Bluetooth and USB dongle.
The only downside is the page up and down and not in the usual place but after some getting used to it’s fine.
I’m very happy with this after almost 2 month of daily use
I’m really pleased with the Wave Keyboard. Especially noteworthy is it can use Bluetooth to hook up, i.e. doesn’t have to use the Logi Bolt. It is SO easy!
The ergo keyboard is really comfy to use. It took a little bit of adapting to Page Up/Down, Home/End keys being in different places but absolutely no problem.
A neat little keyboard that is comfy to use all day at work.
There are just a couple of things that I would have liked for it to be 5 star, I use the “F” keys a lot in my job, on this keyboard you have to press one of the other function keys at the same time in order to use this feature, I would have liked to have been able to link it to my computer with out the supplied dongle and finally, it isn’t the cheapest keyboard out there!
I am very impressed with this keyboard. Smaller and compact than my other large clunky ergonomic keyboard yet still comfortable to use as the keys are closer together and stop the wrist stretch. It is still ergonomically comfortable for a typist like myself, who struggles to use a basic flat straight keyboard, but not as overly dramatically shaped like my old one was. Like the other poster, my old keyboard was large and had the 2 separate sections of keys divided, and whilst that was ergonomic and comfortable, as my right hand has arthritis now, i felt the division of the 2 sections was causing more of a stretch on my right little finger. I was beginning to hate typing a capital I as I had to stretch my left pinky awkwardly.
The only negative I have is the cost. It was quite expensive for what it is but it appears durable and comfortable from the get go and the wrist support is brilliant. It is also made of a plastic type cloth so can be wiped clea
I have noticed a great improvement in my typing since using this ergonomic keyboard as it is very comfortableon my wrists. The wavy design perfectly supports my hands, wrists, and forearms which minimises the strain during long typing sessions. The ergonomic design is clearly evident, making it an excellent option for individuals who spend a considerable amount of time typing. For anyone who sits at a desk for long hours, I would highly recommend this keyboard as it takes all the strain off your wrists and arms.
“I recently purchased a great ergonomic wireless keyboard for myself. As someone who works from home and spends countless hours at my computer, this keyboard has really helped me remove strain. It connected to my PC with no issues, and the battery lasts me 2-3 days.”
This ergonomic keyboard has significantly improved my typing experience. The wavy design naturally positions my hands, wrists, and forearms, reducing strain during long typing sessions. The cushioned palm rest with memory foam provides extra support and comfort. Customizing the keyboard with shortcuts using the app has streamlined my work process. The focus on ergonomic design is evident, making it a great choice for those who spend a lot of time typing. It’s a functional and comfortable addition to any workspace.
The Logitech wave wireless keyboard is a compact keyboard that has an ergonomic feel to it. It connected really easily to my computer via Bluetooth but you do get a little USB dongle included in the box, so be careful that you don’t throw this away, it’s packed in a slot of the cardboard! If you don’t need to use it, then you can pop it in the designated space inside the battery compartment.
I’m a touch typer and have used a full size split keyboard for many years, and I have found that I didn’t have any problems getting used to typing on this, despite it feeling slightly smaller. In fact it is definitely smaller than my ancient split keyboard (see photo for comparison) but it’s comfortable to use and I’ve not been making any mistakes. It’s a great upgrade for me to use with my work laptop
The keyboard does have all of the “traditional” keys, just slightly more squished together. The keypad and arrow keys are really great to have. The only slight niggle I have is that there isn’t an obvious light on the number lock key, you have to press the button to toggle between the numbers and delete / home functions and you have to press a key to work out which mode you are in. I think that’s probably the old slightly disappointing point for me.
What I really love about this keyboard is that it’s fully wireless and it’s compact. No more wires on my desk – wayhay!
Recommended.
Ive been using ergonomic keyboards for more than 10 years and while the keys on this Wave are a little smaller and closer together than I’m used to its still a pleasure to type on and the wrist rest is one of the best I have used!
The keyboard is ready to go straight out of the box, you just insert the batteries, plug the USB receiver in and turn the keyboard. No drivers are required with Windows 11, but you can install the Logi Options app to configure extra settings and update the firmware.
The overall quality is very good and what I expect from a Logitech product. The plastics are all nice quality, it feels well made, and I love the material that covers the wrist rest. The keys feel very nice to type on and they make just the right amount of noise, not too loud but not silent, just perfect for me.
Anyone used to an ergonomic keyboard will feel right at home with this one. Ive been typing on one of these for so long now that its strange for me to use a normal keyboard. I find them way more comfortable, I can type faster, and my hands don’t feel as tired after longer sessions. I also find that your fingers glide over to the next key a lot easier, and they generally feel more natural to me.
The palm rest is one of the best I have come across, mainly just because of the material. Not only does it feel really smooth and soft, but I prefer it to the vinyl or plastic covered ones as your palms don’t get sweaty on this one and you can just glide across it no matter how long you use it. I just hope the material is durable to last for a decent amount of time.
Battery life on all modern Logitech products is usually some of the best out there (especially the PRO mouse) and this keyboard seems to follow the same path. Logitech claim the batteries can last up to 3 years depending on use and battery quality, obviously I can’t test this, but I have been using it for 6+ hours everyday for nearly a month and they still work perfectly.
Overall, I haven’t got a single bad thig to say about this keyboard, it ticks all the right boxes for me and it’s a pleasure to use. For around 70 I feel it represents reasonable value for money and it’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend. Its easily worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!
This Logitech Wave Keys keyboard is a wireless Bluetooth keyboard that is powered by 2xAAA batteries that are included in the rear battery compartment of the keyboard. It pairs via it’s own receiver which you plug into a spare USB port on your PC/Mac. The keyboard paired immediately when powered on. The palm rest is cushioned and very comfortable. While having the appearance of material, the palm rest cover is a smooth matt plastic finish which makes it easy to clean. Apart from the ergonomic layout and the cushioned palm rest, it is lacking in other features. The most you get for illuminations is a little light on the caps lock key. The key top letters appear to be transfers so at some point these could wear off with heavy use. The layout is dual use PC/Mac and UK/US, so has the usual keys in the correct places depending on which layout or hardware you are using — it makes it more compatible — which is a nice touch. A minor grumble I initially had was that the cmd/opt keys were the wrong way round on the Mac. Long pressing the Fn + O keys fixed this, at least in the short term. In use, this feels like an Ok keyboard, but not one that I think would stand up to particularly heavy use for gaming or for work. I’m a programmer and even though this keyboard has an ergonomic layout, is comfortable and easy to type on, I just don’t feel it would endure the day-to-day pounding it would get if I used this as my daily keyboard. At the review price of 69.99 it seems a little expensive and trading rather too much on it’s ergonomic features.
This is a high-quality keyboard as you would expect from Logitech according to its price.
The packaging was also an indicator of the high quality as it came in a banded box and inside was carefully wrapped, the batteries (need 2 AAA) were included in the compartment underneath and were separated from the connection with paper. Little details, of careful packaging, made a lot of difference and set this laptop apart from the everyday budget ones.
There is space in the battery compartment for the dongle, although the dongle itself wasn’t there but on the edge of the lip of the box. You could miss it.
It was easy to set up, and both my devices (mini pc and laptop) recognised it immediately.
Logi Options+ lets you configure your keyboard keys to your preference, making the experience more inclusive.
It took me a significant amount of time to get used to this ergonomic one from the simple flat one I had before.
For sure makes typing more comfortable and is ideal for work.
I wouldn’t say is a great option for gaming, unless you are already used to ergonomic ones, I don’t think it would work great, although the cushioned palm rest is very helpful.
The reason for my 4 stars and not 5 is that is not as silent as I would expect, and the palm rest is not detachable.
It doesn’t make a lot of sound but is not silent.
I would highly recommend this mostly for professionals who type a lot during the day for work.
Overall I’m very happy with this keyboard. Built well, great comfort, key layout is great once you get used to it.
The setup was surprisingly difficult initially. I think I have a faulty Bluetooth usb dongle. I plug it in and pressed fn and O at the same time for 3 seconds and it wouldn’t connect. Tried on two other laptops and still failed to connect. Even searching for it on the Bluetooth, it wouldn’t find the keyboard. Before I gave up, I saw a video which had the answer. F1, F2 and F3 allows you to connect to 3 different machines. Even though F1 was flashing when I tried to connect. I had to press F2 and then F1 before my laptop was able to find it on the Bluetooth search. Connected and worked perfectly. Just odd, in the past, connecting to a wireless keyboard was the easiest task.
Now, I’m used to the standard keyboard. This new wave keys was new to me. It took a while to get used to it. When I did, it was very comfortable and easy to type. I noticed I would make less mistakes. Especially with pressing two keys at the same time. The keys are responsive and soft when typing. I love mechanical keys but they are noisy and having a baby now, it wasn’t ideal. The Logitech is very quiet.
The wrist cushion was one of the best I’ve used. Comfy and firm. Perfect thickness. My only concern is the fabric they used. While it is super soft, cleaning may become an issue. With sweat and the coffee spills, I’m not sure it can be cleaned. There doesn’t seem to be any way to replace it either.
I did experience a glitch twice so far. The key T would register 15 times with one click. I’m hoping this will go away in time. Also the lack of backlight is a major issue with working in the dark. I usually do. I’ve had to dig out my desk lamp again. I guess this is to save battery life. Now Logitech say battery life should last on average 36 months. That’s very impressive, if true. Even half of that I wouldn’t really complain. Also another plus, as I mention at the start of the review. You can connect to three different machines. Switch between them by selecting F1, F2 or F3. The build quality is very good. All plastic, but not cheap plastic. Sturdy and firm.
Nice, good quality keyboard but it does take a bit of time to get used to due to the ergonomic style. The keys have a nice, tactile feel and it’s generally nice to type on. The palm rest is a nice touch and adds to the comfort. Another nice feature is the ability to use this with both my Windows and Mac laptops without having to change my keys like I have to do on my mechanical keyboard. However, the biggest flaw to this keyboard is no backlight. For me that’s a bit of a deal breaker and I didn’t realise how much I would miss it until I didn’t have it. I also don’t like the keys quite as much as my mechanical keyboard. Considering the price, it’s a good quality keyboard especially if you are looking for the ergonomic design, but if not I would go with a backlit mechanical.
As someone who works from home, I was excited to try out this keyboard. It took a bit of time to get used to, but it’s much more comfortable to use than my previous keyboard and has made long typing sessions easier on my wrists, thanks to the cushioned memory foam palm rest. It feels well made and the quality you would expect from Logitech. The keys are quiet, well-spaced, and responsive. I connect it via Bluetooth, and I haven’t had any issues at all. I like the ability to personalise the wave keys with shortcuts using the Logitech Options + App, which saves me time. The keyboard is lightweight and easy to move out of the way when I don’t need it, freeing up desk space. Battery life seems impressive, so I don’t expect to worry about it anytime soon.
