Magnetic VR Gun Stock for Quest 2, Rifle Grip VR Stock Controller Accessories Compatible With MetaQuest 2, Lightweight & Quick Removable Quest2 Control Magnetic Gunstock Adapter (For quest 2)
I love the magnetic adapter feature. It makes attaching and detaching the controllers super easy, which is great for when I need to switch between holding the stock and using the controllers freely. The magnets are strong enough to hold during intense gameplay.
This gun is also lightweight. I’ve used it for hours at a time, and I never felt tired. The grip is comfortable, and the stock feels sturdy without being heavy, so it’s perfect for longer gaming sessions.
Secure Magnetic Connection:
One of the standout features of this gun stock is its powerful magnetic technology. The magnets securely lock the controllers in place, providing a stable grip that feels natural during intense gameplay. The ease of attaching and detaching the controllers is also a big plus, making it simple to switch between different games without hassle.
Ergonomic and Adjustable Design:
The ergonomic design of the gun stock is another highlight. It’s designed to accommodate different arm lengths, ensuring a comfortable fit for a variety of users. The stock is lightweight, so you won’t feel fatigued even during extended gaming sessions. The ability to adjust the position of the controller for a perfect fit is a nice touch that enhances the overall experience.
Lightweight and Comfortable:
Despite its robust design, the gun stock is surprisingly lightweight. It doesn’t feel bulky or cumbersome, which is crucial for maintaining immersion in VR. The lightweight build also helps in reducing arm strain during long gaming sessions, making it a perfect companion for VR shooting games.
I see popular gun stocks with magnetic controller detachments just like this one selling for over one hundred quid, so I was sceptical of how well this gun stock would perform at a third or quarter of the price.
It wasn’t a good start as I stared at the five pieces that came in a brown box with no text or pictures on it, and no instructions whatsoever.
I had to figure it out, and I did. Although, there is a packet of screws and a screwdriver included that I never used…I wonder what those screws are for? and a strip of adhesive velcro, I’ve no idea what that is for either. I mean come on, I’ve bought a pack of pencils for 50p that had a booklet included, It wouldn’t have hurt to print out some instructions. I am very tempted to deduct a star for that lack of presentation, or even just a “thank you for purchasing” note.
But in the end, I decided not to deduct a star because once I assembled it, and then gone into playing Onward VR, I was blown away at how much difference this gun stock makes to my aiming control. And furthermore, how easy it is (with a little practice) to switch between pistol and rifle by detaching/attaching the controller holder component. During rifle use, aiming with sight finder is so much easier and more accurate as I first test it in the Training tutorial.
What’s more, as shown in my pictures, I can still use the controller’s wrist safety straps which I deem of utmost importance as the controller holder, has a hole to feed the strap through.
I have not had any problems so far using this gun stock. When loading magazines and other actions on the rifles, shotguns or sniper guns, I do sometimes hit the stock frame. So that is just something to practice and get use to in avoiding doing that. Of course that is only a problem with the shooters that simulate all the complex actions of reloading guns. I’ve yet to test this on more simpler shooters but I should be an even better and easier experience, given this passes the test on the more complex Onward shooter.
I will now get this for my Quest 3 as I have both headsets but this gun stock I have, and reviewing is the Quest 2 version.
Brilliant. Top marks, once I got over the terrible presentation and lack of instructions or thank you for purchasing note.
I just got this and it’s so easy to get the hang of. Only problem is the front is a bit lighter than the back so it feels slightly awkward when reloading but otherwise top notch for 35
The product is really good used it for ghost of tabor, only thing I would say is could do with a little weight in the front end, due to it being back heavy so when it’s not connected it’s awkward to find again. Other than that seems really good and definitely helps within the game
