I don’t really like that there are bits of plastic now to do things we used to do by tying the string on the back of a chair, but actually this bracelet kit is quite helpful and my 9 year old and her friends found it great to be able to make high quality bracelets. The little pins hold the string well so you can do more complex designs without getting in a mess and the kit contains lots of good threads and add-ons. The instructions are OK but the kids soon went off with their own designs. This was 22.99 at time of review, though had a 20% voucher which you’d need as at full price it’s a but expensive.

It includes 28 embroidery quality threads, making it ideal for young crafters who are new to bracelet making to create beautiful bracelets. This is one of the simpler bracelet maker I’ve used. Having the draws to store the thread is a great idea too! Good quality although my daughter finds the draws abit stiff to open.

This bracelet-making kit is a fun and engaging activity for children. The pre-cut threads are easy to work with, and the instructions are clear enough for youngsters to follow independently. My daughter had a great time creating colorful bracelets for herself and her friends. The kit comes with plenty of materials, so there’s plenty of scope for creativity. It’s a good way to keep kids entertained and encourage their artistic expression.

Gave this as a birthday gift for an 8 year old girl who is thrilled with it. It seems good value to me for the amount of pleasure it has brought her.

Easy to use and really fun. I thought it would be complicated but it isn’t. Instructions are easy to follow. Thread isn’t the best but I have looooads of thread so this wasn’t an issue for us. Me and my nieces loved using it!

This really is a great fun kit. Instructions are clear and you get plenty of threads and beads to get creative and make very nice bracelets. You even get beads with letters on it allowing you to create personalised items. It was fun to use, and the board you get is great. It doesn’t move out of place and holds the strings very nicely keeping them tight. Very happy with this and would highly recommend!

This friendship bracelet making kit is a perfect activity for kids aged 8-12, particularly those interested in jewelry making and creative crafts. It comes with pre-cut threads in various colors, allowing them to create colorful and personalized friendship bracelets for themselves or their friends.

    Here’s what I liked:

Easy to use: The pre-cut threads make it a beginner-friendly kit, ideal for children who are new to friendship bracelet making.
Encourages creativity: Kids can experiment with different colors and patterns to design unique bracelets.
Boosts social interaction and friendship building: Creating bracelets together or gifting them to friends can be a fun social activity.
Travel-friendly: The compact size makes it easy to take on trips or sleepovers.
A couple of things to consider:

Limited reusability: The kit primarily includes pre-cut threads, so additional supplies might be needed for continued bracelet making.
Adult supervision recommended: Younger children might need some help with tying knots or following complex patterns.
Overall, this friendship bracelet making kit is a fun and creative activity for kids. The pre-cut threads and easy-to-follow instructions make it a great introduction to jewelry making and can spark an interest in crafting. However, keep in mind the potential need for additional supplies and adult guidance for younger children.

My GF & I child mind here niece & nephew a few times a week, we try to make sure they have activities that involve crafts and things that get the imagination going at least some of the time each visit.
A few months ago we got some bead bracelet making sets which went down very well so we figured it was time for something that expands on that theme.

This set contains a selection of beads & trinkets for the bracelets and an instruction manual as you would expect which outlines how to do the various knots and shows how to use them to make some of the patterns.
But the star of the show is the bracelet maker base, it’s this that separates this kit from so many others and makes it so much easier for kids to get their plaits & weaves right first time.
I’ve seen kits that had clips and hooks that secured the tied end but this is the first one I’ve seen that made it easy to take care of the end you are actually working on and lays everything out in a way that’s easy to see & keep track of.
Inside the bracelet maker there’s a drawer that holds the threads which is a great idea as they can all too easily get tangled and unusable if they are just stuffed into a bag altogether.

At the beginning of the instructions there are the words “START HERE:” that’s an interesting choice of words especially when it’s followed by “The Four Basic Bracelet Knots”.
Of course it’s meant as the opening of the instructions, but there are many many ways to do knots and weaves for things like this and an inquisitive kid who wants to inject their own creativity into the things they make will hunt them down, they do it at school among their friends & even art teachers, they’ll look up projects and videos online and some will even go to libraries and seek out books.
While a fun little kits like this are ideal for passing away a rainy afternoon they can also be a gateway into world of creativity and art, developing skills that are incredibly important in so many ways.
    Five stars.

Comes with a tonne of cool stuff — 28 colourful threads, letter beads to spell out secret messages, and even buttons to add some pizazz. There’s even a secret compartment to store everything, so you won’t lose your supplies in the couch cushions.

Comes with instructions which are very clear, and there are also pictures.

    Fun solo or group play.

    A nice fun se

What a wonderful set. There is everything you need to make a plethora of different friendship bracelets and keyrings.

I particularly liked the fact that you get plenty of threads and accessories with this set as it means everything is ready to go from the moment you take it out of the box and you don’t have to go looking around for all the things you will need to get started.

The instruction book is comprehensive in giving directions on all the different types of ways you can use the machine, and it kept the younger members of my family entertained for hours.

This friendship bracelet creation kit is great fun. My 6 years old niece loves it.

The bracelet maker is sturdy and colourful, and sits firmly because of the non-slip pads. The kit includes 28 skeins of threads in 14 bright colours, and some pretty shapes, buttons that can be threaded onto the bracelet. Letter blocks are also included allowing personal messages to be added.

The kit comes with clear instructions. Younger children will need guidance, but that is a good thing, because as well as encouraging creativity and developing motor skills, the activity helps develop social bonding too. At just over 22, this is good value, I think.

I really like these friendship bracelet making kits, I would have loved one myself when I was little. It’s great nostalgic fun and the kit makes it easier when learning, because it holds the threads in place (I remember having to place the top of my bracelet under a chair leg).

This would make a great present for the 7-10 age group who like making jewellery for their friends. I like that there is a compartment within the kit to store your threads and that you get enough of everything to get started straight out of the box. It’s pretty sturdy too.

    Would recommend.

When I was kid we did these all the time and back then we didn’t have fancy stuff like this. However some of my friends and I still keep buying these when we could do our time but playing with tape and the chances of it going warped is too high to bother with these. When I saw this I became so excited because it means I can start doing these again for family kids and friends, maybe a bit more complex as well.

I love how straight they come out when this doesn’t give the bracelet a possibility to become warped since it keeps each thread in its place. The spaces between are tight enough to keep thread well in place as well.

Has wee place for your threads and while the ones that comes with this aren’t that high quality, they’re good enough quality to make some nice bracelets as you can see from the one I started from them.
Also comes with instruction booklet for those who has never done these and some extra fancy jewelry.

It might seem a bit expensive but to be honest, it’s surprisingly good quality so I’d be happy to pay that. I’ve never done such a straight and nice bracelet before so it clearly does help with doing these!

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a blast to the past!

This would make a good gift for a child into crafting. Takes a bit of patience at first but instructions are clear and the set up works well. Nice colour threads provided along with some cute buttons and beads to further personalise the bracelets. Also includes some clear plastic sticky circles that we’ve not yet worked out the purpose of!

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice se
