My son loves cars (both the toys and the movie) and this will be the perfect way for him to celebrate the upcoming holidays. He’s only 3, but last year we gave him a couple of advent calendars and he was obsessed with them. He woke up every morning so excited to open the next door and see what prize awaited him.
I opened this advent calendar up to see the quality of the actual pieces. I’m very impressed with it. I like that it isn’t just cars and has a lot of variety to the different pieces inside of it. That being said, it only comes with 4 cars… I wish it came with just a few more to help balance it out.
I especially love that it also builds both a playset and a little display tree. It’s very festive and creative.
Overall, this is a great advent calendar for anyone who likes the Cars movies. It’s also surprisingly reasonably priced. It’s currently $25 at the time of this writing, and I think that’s a steal considering a lot of these branded calendars usually go for $40-50.
So hard to review an Advent calendar when you’re saving it for Christmas time! The doors for kids to open are not sequential, so your child will have to search for the right day. Each day reveals a new surprise to add to the collection.
What a neat advent calendar! My kid was obsessed with the Cars Movie when he was little, and now that he’s older, he still wants an advent calendar every year. It’s become a tradition in our home, and he looks forward to it. He will be thrilled with this! I opened it up from the side to check out the pieces. Each day there’s a new one, and they are all cute and well made little toys. Will make a cute Christmas decoration to display as a set in the future. Love it!!
We had the Cars advent calendar last Christmas and it was a HUGE hit!! This 2024 Mattel Disney and Pixar Cars Minis Advent Calendar looks exactly the same with some different cars and a few different items!
It’s so much fun having my little one get so excited every morning upon waking to go open a new “door” to see what’s inside!
Last years stackable track wasn’t the BEST, it fell apart a lot especially with rough toddler play haha. I’m assuming this one will be similar, but, it’s still worth 5 stars to me! Setting it all up is adorable and they can continue playing with the mini cars and the track the whole year!
Definitely a must-have for all Cars fans this Christmas!! (Or if you’d like to do a countdown another month or even a potty training prize! Get to open a door for every “x” amount of times going potty etc)!

My son loves Cars and I thought this would be fun for him to play with and have cute little Cars vehicles.
The quality of the toys are excellent and the cars are metal. They are very well painted and detailed. You get 4 little cars and there is a snow plough you can install on Mater. The set is easy to put together and you can build it like a tree (3 layers) or all connecting and flat.
The parts are small, especially the tiny oil can so definitely not for kids under 3 or those that like to still put toys in their mouth.
My biggest complaint is how difficult it is to remove the toys from the box. The cardboard compartments are difficult to open. I added a photo of the box post opening all the doors.
The toys are also tightly wedged in plastic so it does take a little finagling to remove them.
But despite those minor negatives, it is such a neat advent calendar and any kid that loves Cars would be thrilled to receive this. It’s so much fun to have a little surprise each day leading up to Christmas.
For the cost, I think this is a great value. Especially being a legit Cars toy set made by Mattel.
I got this for my 6 year old, as he’s a huge Cars fan! We obviously haven’t opened it yet, as it’s June. But it looks like a decent value (all advent calendars are overpriced, imo, but my kids love them). Lately, a lot of our sets have had a million stickers, which are fun for about 2 seconds. So this looks like it will be more fun, since he can actually play with all the pieces!
This is a very cute Advent calendar that would be perfect for any little kid that is a fan of Cars. It does come sealed in plastic wrap, but one of the doors was opened already due to the way it was packaged in the shipping box. This is not the fault of the Disney company, so I won’t be taking a star off for that. All of the pieces are pretty little, but it will still be fun for my 6 year old to play with! It’s always so much fun opening an Advent calendar to see what you’ll get that day!
The Pixar Cars Mini Advent Calendar will be for my nephew’s present before Christmas. He’s a huge fan of the movie Cars and this is the perfect advent calendar for him to open this December. He currently owns a few Cars mini sets, so this will add to his growing collection that he can mix and match later on.
