Love this! It’s got some great motion features with the mouth opening and closing while it pumps its little fists! Even though the whole thing is basically just one color, it still manages to be an interesting build with the base and ground breaking up the monotony! Another great Mega set in their pokemon line.
We love building sets, be it lego, mega construx, or even off branded blocks. We love them all and this right here may take the cake as one of the coolest sets we’ve built in a while. We love how it loves and seems alive when it does. The little set took about an hour to build and both my son and I had a blast putting it together. It’s well worth the price and would make a great gift for the holidays or even just because you want to put something together like we did. 10/10 recommend
My kid was able to put it together easily enough and it does look cool and just like the cartoon. However, unlike other Pokemon eg Pikachu, Bulbasaur or Dragonite, this character can’t be freely incorporated in plays as it’s arms are not free standing and the entire build has to be taken together ie it can’t be taken apart from the rest of the apparatus. Still it looks great and is loved by my kiddo.
Pros: Came nicely packaged. Just like typical Lego set. Another fun “punch” for the line of MEGA. All pieces are there. Easy to set up. Love the easily maneuver setup. Instruction was clear. I wish it came with a piece that you can pry open stuck blocks. Recommend if you like Pokmon. Especially if you’re into 1st gen/151 Pokmon.
Cons: N/A
My kids love Pokemon so i got this build for them. There is several positives and a couple of negatives. First the positives, The instructions are great. They are detailed and highlighted which makes it easy to know where pieces go. With only 300 or so pieces, this is a quick build, even if you get stuck. Lastly, the fact that Geodude can move is simply cool. I have not seen many builds that also allow your finished product to have some sort of movement. The negative is mostly that it takes some muscle or skill to remove pieces that have been put together. If you have a tool, it makes it a little easier. Otherwise if you are very careful, a butter knife will work. However, try not to stick two pieces together unless they are really supposed to be together. Trust me, you will be much happier.
Ein super Klemmbaustein-Modell. Qualitt lsst keine Wnsche brig.
Another cool Pokmon build set that really demonstrates the innovative ideas and designs MEGA comes up with for this line.
It’s not just a standard build set that you build and then display. This set is part of their Motion line, which incorporates movement into the set by having a hidden button that you press to move Geodude’s fists up and down.
It’s only 343 pieces, but it will take some skill to build, especially the mechanical portion that enables the movement. I think this is now my third MEGA Pokmon set, and I am once again very impressed with them and think they are fun and a good value.
