My original Mira hose was a bit grubby and starting to split so I wanted a quality replacement. This fits the bill perfectly. It has a plastic covering that is very strong and will offer protection to the hose. The hose is the same length as the original so fits the shower well. The only problem was that the plastic cover makes it less flexible and was also set in an awkward shape so that it didn’t sit nicely in the shower space. But, after a few days the plastic settled into a shape that is more suitable for the space it is in. The less flexible nature is not a problem and the hose can be used comfortably in different ways.
I bought a cheaper version first thinking how different can a shower hose actually be. Turns out very. The mira version is better quality complete with washers so no leaking. Wish I’d of bought this first.
Is there anyone who can tell me if I need to remove the plastic wrapped around the entire length of this shower hose? Sounds a daft question but have not come across this sort of thing before. Have been unable to contact manufacturer either by phone or email. Many thanks. Otherwise this is a lovely replacement for our old shower hose – good quality and works perfectly – no leaks.
My old Mira shower hose split so I was pleased to see that Amazon had an exact replacement part. It was a 2 minute job to change it and my shower is back ikn action with a good quality part.
