I suppose like all comes, it’s tricky to install as the wires go behind the padding of your motorcycle helmet, but once fitted the communication between rider and pillion passenger is clear and volume is adjustable. Not the most expensive on the market but it fits my needs.
Really nice comprehensive kit, literally everything you need . fitted in 10 mins in 2x MT helmets. Performance is better than expected, audio is loud and clear with more range than you’ll likely need, tested at half a mile with line of sight.

Well I’ll be dipped- these intercoms actually do what they claim to do!!
My girl recently did her CBT but she’s still a bit unsure on a bike, so I bought these intercoms so I can yell at her without having to actually, you know, yell. The earphones are relatively comfortable, and the kit comes with two different types of mic- she uses the boom mike cos she has an open-faced lid, and I’ve got the button mic fitted inside my full-face helmet. Sound quality is good and range is also good- until we get about quarter of a mile apart and there are buildings in the way.
The only BAD point is initially linking the two intercoms. people on YouTube will tell you they connect automatically. They don’t. You have to turn both intercoms on with a long press on the power button, give it a few seconds, and then a quick press on either one of the intercom power buttons.
I found I have to do this every time we turn the intercoms on- they do NOT connect automatically!
Apart from that, they really do deliver the goods.
NOTE: We haven’t tried them in the pouring rain, so maybe they’ll self-destruct if they get wet. Also, so far we’ve only used them for maybe three hours but they still claim to be fully charged (thank you helpful Chinese lady-voice!) so can’t comment on battery life.
Over the period of time I’ve used this headset it has been wonderful playing music with really easy controls when riding without the use of needing to stop and get my phone out, I’ve only had to charge it once over the month I’ve been riding with the music quality being quite clear too.
The only issues I’ve had with it are the speakers bump out a bit of the slot inside my helmet and over them it caused and ruptured a blister but since then I’ve worn a balaclava and it has solved the issue but one more issue with it is that the microphone is a bit short and doesn’t pick up my voice perfectly other than those two things it has been a really useful set.
I am very pleased with this intercom set. My brother and I use them on our e bikes, they maintain a link when we are far away or out of sight, hundreds of yards away. The audio is clear, even though I am partly deaf. I would like a bit more volume, but if I can hear them then they must be loud enough. Fitted easily in to our helmets, they are light and durable. Charge up before a journey, and go.
I had installed a Twiins unit into my lid but the sound was terrible and I couldn’t hear anything going faster than 30mph. Thought I would take a punt on the Moman unit and am very surprised at the sound quality and overall functionality for the price. I was a bit tricky to fit as I needed to avoid a switch for the integrated sunvisor, so sat if further back. I didn’t want to risk the sticky pad and wanted to use the clip instead. No way around it, you will need to strip out all the foam padding from the helmet. Once it is on, kit works great. Simple to use controls allow you to adjust the volume, skip songs, go back to songs, pause, take calls etc. Really impressed so far – I have a (loud) aftermarket exhaust on my KTM – and sound was nice and clear at 70mph.
Wanted something that I could use touring Europe to allow me to make calls listen to music and chat to my passenger. They do all that and as had been stated they lack base but its not the end of the world. At full volume it’s more noticeable and once I’m doing 70mph (110kmph) it’s really difficult to hear anything. For the price I’m fairly happy.
I bought this unit to replace my old one, which died after a couple of years. The sound quality is significantly better, I can listen to audiobooks, which previuosly was just a waste of time at anything over 50mph. The controls are simple and easy to use even with thick winter gloves. This one pairs to my phone much quicker than the old one too.
I cannot comment on the intercom function as I have not used that. Just music and audiobooks. I have given 4 stars as the unit did stop working after a long ride in particularly heavy rain going down to North Yorkshire, but Moman replaced the unit, so that sorted that out!
I am very impressed with this helmet comms system. It arrived in good time, was easy to fit and the fitting kit is comprehensive. I have used it for several lengthy rides now and I can listen to streamed radio or my music collection from my phone with ease and confidence. Sound quality is good, volume control easy, I have last number redial at the touch of a button and can answer incoming calls with ease. It works! Good quality and value. Recommended.
I watched quite a few reviews on the Moman H2 Motorcycle communication unit. It works flawlessly in operation and has a bloody good range considering it only uses Bluetooth and isn’t a high end mesh system. 1 star was knocked off for durability as unfortunately one of our units (we bought the duo set) had a problem with its control wheel as in it went over a detent and chipped the edge this detent pushed the centre button (which is also a retaining plug for the scroll wheel – keeping it all together) the wind then caught the helmet and ripped the scroll wheel and centre button off into the windy wet night. I spoke with the company and they have carried out a full investigation and agreed to replace the faulty unit. So outstanding customer services. So just a word of advice turn the dual / scroll wheel up and down slowly. Still a great product considering it’s price and features compared to it’s competitors. I would still recommend it.
