I’m really happy withthis desk Mat. I bought the forest green one- the colour adds a vibrant touch to my workspace which I adore. The larger size makes a world of difference compared to my old smaller mat, making navigation so much smoother. As of now, I haven’t found any downsides. Highly recommend!
I might be old, but this feels like the leather inlaid my old writing desk had when I as a kid.
It’s big, comfy to write on, but also using keyboard, mouse and even the odd coffee cup it’s fine.
Ours came rolled up tight and it wants to stay rolled up, give it a little while and it’ll settle back to being flat.
Very nice desk pad that is nice and wide. Feels a little soft, has a slight texture to it. Works well with optical mice for tracking.
I recently received the Mouse Mat Large Non-Slip Waterproof PU Leather Mouse Pad in blue for my home office, and it has significantly improved my workspace. Here’s my comprehensive review:
**Size and Coverage:**
The large size of this mouse mat is perfect for my needs. It covers a substantial portion of my desk, providing ample space for both my keyboard and mouse. This extra space ensures smooth and uninterrupted movement, whether I’m working, browsing, or gaming.
**Material Quality:**
The PU leather material is impressive. It feels premium and has a nice texture that is comfortable for both mouse movement and writing. The blue color adds a touch of elegance and vibrancy to my desk setup.
**Non-Slip Base:**
One of the standout features is the non-slip base. The mat stays firmly in place on my desk, even during intense work sessions. I don’t have to constantly readjust it, which is a huge plus.
**Waterproof and Easy to Clean:**
The waterproof feature is a lifesaver. I’ve had a couple of accidental spills, and the liquid just beads up on the surface, making it easy to wipe away without any damage. The mat is also easy to clean with a damp cloth, keeping it looking new.
**Stitched Edges:**
The stitched edges are a nice touch, enhancing the mat’s durability and preventing fraying. This attention to detail indicates that the product is built to last.
**Functionality:**
Using my mouse on this mat works well. The surface is smooth and responsive, ensuring precise control. It also works well as a writing pad, providing a stable and comfortable surface for taking notes.
**Overall Impressions:**
Overall, this mouse mat is great. It combines style, durability, and functionality, making it an excellent addition to my home office. Whether you need it for work, gaming, or general use, this mouse mat is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality desk pad.
Ordered this in the 90cm long version so i have ample space for my pc mouse when i game on my pc.
I had a very decent gaming mouse mat before this, but it was fairly small and many people seem to have these large mats for pc gaming, i certainly prefer this large size, and although its PU Leather, once i unrolled it and layed it on my desk it’s stayed perfectly flat since.
It has a smooth feel to it even though there is a slight mottled texture to look at it closely, the edges are stitched and are perfectly straight against the edge of my desk.
Initially when i first started using it i didn’t notice any difference playing my pc games, mouse accuracy was the same, it did get slightly sticky if your hand is hot and resting on it but wasn’t really an issue, but as time went on and i used it day after day i noticed the pu leather creates a drag effect on my mouse and wrist so i wouldn’t recommend this for gaming unless you lay your gaming mat on top of it.
As a desk mat it certainly looks smart on my desk and stops the keyboard sliding about so happy i ordered it.
This is a great desk mat. I got the 80cm x 40cm one and it’s ideal to fit my keyboard and use my mouse. I usually manage to stand my coffee cup on it too. It’s PU leather (aka faux leather) but that’s fine. It has a faint leather-like texture on it and the edges are stitched. It looks high quality for the price (9.99). The best bit is that it has a non-slip backing on it so it stays put on your desk and doesn’t slide around.
The green colour goes well with my beech coloured work desk. It arrived rolled up but laid flat on my desk with no problems. It has a little matching strap if you need to roll it up and transport it.
I’m really delighted with it. Maybe not the colour I would have chosen, but it actually looks quite nice. I’d definitely buy another one if there were more colours offered.
The mouse mat is a good size for a desk or perhaps even a coffee table should you use your laptop on one. It is rectangular with rounded corners. The mat also comes with a little “belt” of sorts that I believe is for keeping the mat rolled up should you need to.
The material is quite plastic-y but has a very faint texture to it, I believe it is supposed to look like leather and it does a reasonably good job of it in my opinion.
I actually like the plastic-y feel and texture because it means the mat is genuinely wipe-clean and waterproof. For a softer more fabric centred mats, they often claim to be wipe-clean or machine washable, but it’s not always the case when it comes to the crunch. This mat is fairly thin but honestly with the plastic-y topside it doesn’t really need to be very thick as it does it’s job fine the way it is. My mouse runs smoothly over it from the start. No complaints about it’s performance as a mouse mat.
No complaints at all really. I’m not saying it’s flawless – you might not like the plasticity of it or the relative thinness, but to me I don’t personally see those as downsides and I am happy with the mat. It is a distinguished, classic army-green colour that would look good in a gentlemanly office I would say.
I wanted a black mousemat that wasn’t material as I’m clumsy as hell and frequenctly knock over drinks at my desk so didn’t want one of the rubber/fabric/neoprene mousemats that seem very popular now.
The black side which is supposed to be the side you use is a lot less smooth than the red plastic leather underside. So I now have a red mousemat after all as that side is smoother and feels nicer for the mouse to glide across. The black side isn’t bad, but is definitely rougher and less glide-y for the mouse.
The mat is also a bit of a nightmare to sit completely flat, as can been seen in the picture reviews. I used double sided tape to stick down the mousemat to the table and I’m hoping that in time it will stop trying to curl away from the table and I can take the tape off the underside. This is new so I can’t tell how the coating will come off like a lot of PU leather over time, but so far, I am pretty happy with this, it’s reasonably priced. I wish the black side was as smooth as the red side, but it’s not worth sending back for that.
