perfectly compact this came in great use during a picnic, so not just for the beach. drawstring bag secured so its not lost during use, it can be used either side and comes with pegs to secure it down. a great size and comfortably sits 4 people. very pleased
This is a great sized beach blanket. It is compact and lightweight, just a great item for the beach. This is waterproof and really easy to remove sand from. You would need some form of additional cushioning if lying on any rough areas as the blanket is quite thin.
Having used this Beach Blanket on multiple occasions, I found it to be a reliable and convenient addition to my outdoor gear. Whether it’s a day at the beach, a picnic in the park, or a camping trip, this blanket has proven its worth. Its large size comfortably fits my family, and the waterproof and sandproof features are genuinely effective. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, making it a staple for our outdoor adventures. However, on rocky or uneven surfaces, the thin padding does require an extra layer for comfort.
Love this for beach days with my dog. Sand literally falls right through it, so I don’t need to constantly shake it off every time my dog walks on it, unlike the old blanket we used to use. It washes up great too, and comes in a perfect little travel bag with ground pegs. Great purchase.
This beach blanket is very much targeted at people needing something really lightweight that takes up very little space in a bag/rucksack. It’s clearly not going to provide any soft barrier between you and any rocks, pebbles, sticks etc, but it’s not what it’s trying to be. If you would otherwise be sitting on the ground, this will provide some protection from dirt and damp. The pegs are needed, as it’s so lightweight.
For the thinness of the material, 19.99 is perhaps a little on the pricey side, but it is a really useful thing to have on the beach or flat, grassy area without lugging heavy/bulky blankets around.
The NABIYE beach mat is in a fresh light green and grey color. It’s made of polyester material which is lightweight( only 12oz), sand proof and water-repellent. It’s a good size measuring at 200*210cm. This beach mat is easy to roll out and folded thanks to the provided storage bag. It came with four plastic pegs for holding the mat to the ground/sand. I have to say that the mat is relatively thin and easy to be blown away, so I would suggest to use extra weight or sand bags to keep it in place. Nevertheless, it’s a handy little thing for your beach visit or your next picnic party.
I love this blanket. We go out to the beach / parks a lot and this is perfect for those trips and much more. When it arrived, I was shocked to see how tiny it is yet it is huge when unfolded and comfortably accommodated 7 adults/kids. It is quite thin but easy to shake off all sand and pack back into its case – I wasn’t sure I’ll manage but it was actually really easy. I havent used the pegs yet but they are handy additions and will sure use them soon.

This is a useful super-lightweight tarp for the beach or park.
It comes packed in its own compact little bag, and is easy to carry around. The colour’s a bit in-your-face, but it’s okay.
I should mention that if you’re using this as your groundsheet, you’re going to feel every single pebble, broken seashell, or bottle-top in the sand beneath you.
It’s also not going to keep you dry if you place it on wet sand or grass. It’ll work on damp surfaces, but not wet, unless you’re prpared to fold to double. Or wash it with a proper waterproofer, and risk ironing it.
So if you’re looking for something to keep the sand off your things, your food and your suntan-sticky body on a sunny day at the beach, then this is great. On a dry day it’ll make an excellent ground tarp to work with a windbreak. In fact, take a couple of poles, and it would make a useful windbreak! Or a sun-shade.
All in all I’d say it’s a pretty useful thing to have, but if you want to stay dry, think about throwing in a foil emergency blanket. They cost literally a quid to buy, they’re tiny and fold so small that one would fit in the bag with the tarp, they weigh nothing, and they’re waterproof. I wouldn’t want to sit on one as the reflection would blind you, and you’d roast yourself like a chicken in kitchen foil, but underneath a lightweight tarp, they’d be very useful.
This s a good effort, but it really needed to be fully waterproof to be effective. As it is though, it’s a useful fair-weather beach friend.
This is a very large waterproof mat that arrives in a small pouch complete with ground pegs. The material keeps the damp ground from getting through and is easily shaken clean of sand etc when you have finished with it and the entire mat can be hosed or mopped clean if needed. The pouch for it is cleverly attached to the mat and can be tucked underneath it when the mat is pegged to the ground so it isn’t flapping around on windy days.
I was very impressed with the size of this for the price (19.99 at time of ordering) as we regularly go on picnics, beach trips or to the local music festival with family and extended family and this is big enough for everyone to sit on if they wanted to. I wasn’t convinced that once I took the mat out of the pouch it would actually fit back in it but surprisingly it did and with very little effort, highly recommended.

Ordered as a reviewer as we go caravaning quite often, this will make a brilliant area for the kids to sit on during the summer when we are on site, being made of polyester means that moisture from the ground will be blocked, i can also see from the choice of material that this would also be spot on for beaches as sand would just shake off this mat as it is rather non textured and smooth.
At just shy of 20 this is good value considering the size and how little space it takes up when packed away so will be a useful item this summer to me so a 5 star product. i was however confused on why they would have sewn the bag to the sheet, easy to cut off but you would not want this flapping about in the wind.
Plenty big enough for family, keeps the sand off and you can out beach towels on top for your comfort, light and easy to clean shake out the sand and roll it back up to put away, it took me a while to learn the easiest way to roll it back!

It is great for a family day out. The pack is lightweight (only 12oz), easy for carrying in a backpack. The mat is sand and water-resistant. Sand can be shaken off and water drops will roll off the fabric surface. The fixing pegs are very useful since the sheet will fly away easily even with light breeze without them.
If you’re planning a trip to the sandy shores (after all, the product is called a beach blanket), then this product could be just what you need. It’s a simple sheet of polyester, and although I haven’t used this type of blanket before, I’m already a fan. Due to its thinness, it’s incredibly compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. This portability is its main advantage. Additionally, being made of polyester, it’s easy to dry and clean.
However, it’s important to note that since it’s so thin, you’ll feel every stick and stone underneath if the ground isn’t soft like sand. Also, the blanket comes with four stakes, which are essential for keeping it grounded, especially in windy conditions.
If you’re looking for a soft beach blanket, you might want to consider other options. But if portability and spaciousness are what you’re after, this blanket will do the job admirably.

This waterproof blanket comes in it’s own little bag, along with 4 pegs and a carabina. The best thing is that the bag is attached to the blanket so you can’t lose it! Brilliant!
The blanket itself is thing and very large. (See pics). Plenty big enough for a few people to sit on and have a picnic. I’ve put this on wet grass and sat on it and was as dry as a bone. Once you’re down, it simply rolls up and fits back into its attached bag in a really small size because the blanket is lightweight and thin. Very easy to take around with you and can’t wait to use this all summer!
Overall, I’m really happy with this blanket. Great for beaches and great for picnics as you don’t have to worry about getting wet trousers from damp grass. Lightweight and easy to get out and put away.
This a big beach mat in aqua green. It’s thin material, but that makes it very compact when it’s folded up into its small drawstring pouch. It comes with four 5″ orange pegs to hold it down at each corner, although how successful that will be will depend on surface you are on – loose sand would be no good. You’d probably end up using your beach bag and three beach rocks to hold it down. Otherwise, it’s a handy waterproof blanket to sit on when there are a two or more of you.
This is called a blanket in the product listing which is very misleading. It is some sort of nylon/polyester type of very thin fabric. It is huge so will be great for a small family to spread out on. It would work just as well as a protective layer to sit on in the park. Some pegs are provided to hold the sheet down in the sand, which is a great idea as the beach tends to be breezy in my experience. There is also a loose carabiner, not sure why. This would make a great addition on trips to the beach or park. But I’d say it is overpriced at 19.99 for what it is.
