NOPE! Bug Bomb is a ‘one shot’ aerosol insect killer for the home that targets fleas, moths, carpet beetles, gnats, spiders, cockroaches and other crawling and flying insects. It is an effective fly killer, bed bug killer and mosquito killer.
It kills insects on contact and reaches out-of-sight stages of the insect lifecycle like flea eggs, bed bug eggs and larvae. Bug Bombs leave no visible residue and don’t cause any stains, which makes them suitable for use in furnished rooms or clothes storage areas. NOPE! Bug Bombs are fully certified for home use and feature a professional strength formulation to ensure total pest infestation removal. Can be used as flea bombs or as an all-encompassing alternative to fly spray.
To treat an enclosed space successfully, first ensure that all people, animals, pets (including terrariums and aquariums), plants and foodstuffs are removed from the area. Make sure to firmly close all doors and windows, checking that the seals are tight with no cracks or other defects. Block any open fireplaces and close air vents. Exclude any remaining draughts. Remove all open foodstuffs, cutlery and crockery.
Place the NOPE! Bug Bomb on a flat and hard elevated surface in the middle of the room to be treated. To activate, point can away from face and press down on the nozzle until it locks into position with a ‘click’ and starts to release smoke. Immediately vacate the room and do not re-enter for at least 2 hours. The NOPE! Bug Bomb will empty entirely. When you re-enter the area, open all doors and windows to ventilate thoroughly for between 1 and 12 hours, depending on the size of the area being treated. Continue ventilating room until no odour remains. One 250 ml aerosol treats a room with a footprint of up to 312.5m³.
To ensure best results, vacuum clean carpets and upholstery before treatment to allow fog to penetrate deeply between fabric fibres. Vacuum cleaner vibrations also stimulate some insects like flea to hatch into their adult forms, increasing the likelihood of contacting the smoke.
After treatment, use a dustpan and brush and vacuum clean to thoroughly remove insect debris. Dispose of empty Bug Bomb in general waste. Vacuum cleaner contents should be immediately emptied into a black plastic bag. Seal firmly and remove from the home to prevent eggs, larvae and adult insects from re-infesting the home.
NOPE! Bug Bomb Insect Foggers are developed and manufactured in the UK. Always read the full label and accompanying datasheet before use.

We used this on cat fleas and it seemed to have done the trick. We only had one large room to treat and removed my plant collection beforehand. The can was straightforward to use. You simply place it on a flat surface in the middle of the room, pull the trigger and leave the room immediately. Once the 2h are up you need to ventilate the room, brush up and vacuum. I couldn’t find much of a residue and the smell dissipated eventually. We haven’t noticed any flea bites since. Would use again.
I recently purchased the Large One-Shot Bug and Insect Killer Fogger and used it in my garage, which had become a haven for all sorts of creepy crawlies. To my amazement, this product worked like a charm! With just one application, the space was cleared of bed bugs, moths, carpet beetles, flies, mosquitoes, and more. The ease of use was incredible — simply activate the fogger, leave the area, and upon return, a bug-free zone awaits. No mess, no fuss, and no lingering odor. It’s a relief to find a product that lives up to its promises, delivering a pest-free environment. Highly recommended for those in need of a reliable, one-shot solution to household pests.
When you’ve reached your final straw, this is an effective way of killing off fleas in a large room. You’ll want to remove anything living beforehand eg. plants, fish tanks etc, as this may kill them. It’s not pleasant, but I didn’t expect it to be, and it’s easier than the sprays since you can set it off and leave straight away.
I suggest doing it in the morning before leaving the house, as it can be irritating on the throat. Make sure you give yourself a couple of hours to properly air out the room later on before using, as the smell can linger. Seemed to do the trick in my flat; I haven’t had any flea bites since. Recommended.
Presentation
The NOPE! Flea Bomb for the Home was supplied in a large can 250ml sized with a plastic cap and NOPE! Branding along with some instructions for sue placed on the rear of the can.
First Impressions
The can looks typical of the press-button to activation and go type of aerosol fogger with the button on the top of the can, albeit this is the largest of one such that I have used.
Day To Day Use
This treatment was required for a moth issue after our son returned home from a rental house with others and brought moths back with him. I prepared the area — which was a bedroom — opening cupboards and taking out some clothing items items and hangoing them from doors etc so they were exposed to the fogger. I then donned some protective goggles, a mask and gloves, set a piece of wood down as a solid base and pressed the button to activate the aerosol, ensuring it was steady on the wooden board before exiting the room. Next morning — a good 16 hours later — I went back to the room and with gloves and a mask on I dusted and vacuumed thoroughly, placing all of the removed items back where they belonged. To date, some 4 weeks later we have seen no moths in the room — indeed no bugs at all for a few weeks – so the treatment has been deemed a success for now. Time will tell.
Summing Up
The details regarding the application are good, and the process is quick but do heed all of the safety instructions both pre and post treatment.
Make sure to keeps pets out and away from the room for several hours after treatment and be sure to remove any water or food bowls of theirs before using it. Always remember, flea sprays are toxic to pets(and humans) so keep that door closed.
Performs as well as any flea fogger spray I’ve used, and works well to kill fleas on contact.
I’m not a fan of how this leaves the room smelling but then again, getting the job done efficiently is the main goal.
Priced decently as it’s a bigger can than the lower priced ones.
Easy to use – vacuum the floor, wash bedding, place spray on the floor, activate by pushing in the top and leave the room. Come back a few hours later to vacuum again, remove the can and replace bedding.
To use it you simply press the button and then leave the room, sealing it up. Eventually you need to return to the room and ventilate it. You don’t need to use any flames to ignite it which is a bonus. It is quite quick however, and so you have to ensure you can leave the room promptly.
I found the scent quite unpleasant although after ventilating it didn’t leave any residual odour. You have to ensure that you cover items that could be contaminated such as pet items, or food items, or remove them if possible. It didn’t leave any residue on surfaces either.
Once it had been used, I noticed straight away that it had effectively killed fleas and other insects including spiders in the room. I have noticed that there has not been any sightings of fleas since using it.
One small issue is that although it covers a large area, it cannot be moved to another room once set off, so you would need to get one per room which could end up becoming quite expensive.
Overall, this is easy to use, works very well and doesn’t leave any residue or lingering odour. I would recommend it.
We had a sudden fly infestation in two rooms at once. Located the issue, something had died at the bottom of our almost totally bricked up chimney, with the inevitable houseflys squeezing out of the vents.
I first tried just giving a few fly’s a bit of a squirt, if you don’t press the button too far down you can just spray a little out. After a few seconds the fly’s started to drop on their backs but strangely after about 20mins they seemed to recover and started flying again.
So not expecting much from this, I took off the chimney vent, fully pressed the fogger and pushed the can it in to the chimney, and reblocked the vent. I blocked all other possibile vents before doing this.
It’s been a couple of days now and we have had zero flies. So fingers crossed it seems to have done the trick.
Very easy to use, just fully pressed the button to start the spray. When I did a few squirts first of all it does smell quite unpleasant, but then it is fly killer. I think it’s a little expensive at @15 for a single can. 4/5 from me.
This is good for getting rid of any pesky household bugs using a fireless method, but I do fear it’s a little overpriced as it only does a certain square metre radius, and you’d be spending quite a bit to do multiple rooms if the issue is widespread. I do think the product is great for what it does, and it works, but I’m not sure I’d reach to get it again at the price it is.
