Alot quieter than I expected and excellent breeze even on the lowest setting. Perfect height for being in bed. Instructions are not for this model but still easy to put together. Doesn’t come with batteries for the remote. Overall very pleased with this purchase.
Very good fan! Love the remote has really made life soo much easier especially with the timer function. Easy to put together. Got it for a good price on prime day too 🙂
Easy to assemble, extremely quiet. Bought for granddaughter who is a lighter sleeper and didn’t disturb her. Only thing is it’s not very tall but not required for this purpose as was for her bedroom.
Great with the remote a few different speeds and time
Well made, it is so quiet in operation that we use at night in the bedroom without being disturbed. Powerful even on it’s lowest setting so can be used at a distance, the remote control is an added bonus. Only slight niggle is that the assembly instructions included were from an earlier model and very basic so those not used to assembling Ikea furniture may be confused and struggle also power cord could be longer this stopped it getting 100%. Good purchase, would buy one again.
Easy to put together. The stand is quite short if you want it at standing level (standing person height). But at sitting level, it’s perfect.
Quiet for how much it puts out in terms of air. It’s not a huge jet of air, but a very good amount. This together with an air cooler would push a good amount of cold in a double room. Without, it’s perfect for a decent size room.

Good quality fan, well built, has a bit of weight to it, may be a little heavy for the more frail to move about, gives out a nice cooling breeze, far more than my previous cheaper fan, its annoying that there is only one button for the speed so if you want speed 6 but are on 7 you will need to cycle through 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 to get there. The motor is silent but of course the fan can be heard particularly above the first few speeds but I can’t imagine this is something that can be reduced and the buttons bleep each time you press them with no option to turn the bleep off. Worth the 65 I paid for it.
Update: I found this such an effective fan that I have added another. It is the ideal height for use in a bedroom, has good output of cooling air vs noise produced and is stable around pets.

I found this an effective fan to cool down a large room during a hot spell, although it does have some limitations such as the lack of a remote control. In addition, whilst the listing mentions it is height adjustable, this is confined to the height addition or reduction caused by using or not using a non-adjustable, optional pole. It is either a short desk fan without the pole or a taller, but still short, fan for the floor.
It comes in a relatively small box with a lot of assembly and initial disassembly required. The base is weighty and reassuringly so; it is up to the task of supporting the fan and holding it steady in use. A couple of pieces need to be removed from the motor and cage, but the parts are easy to put together although the instructions don’t make clear how to do some of the steps, so I needed to also check the photos in the listing. The final piece of the puzzle is insertion of a screw to hold the front part of the cage in place; it is a tiny piece so make sure you’ve got it before discarding the packaging.
I am using it with the pole in place and the fan sits just above the height of the bed. I would like it to be a little higher, but it is okay like this. It is a pity that the pole isn’t telescopic as it is with many other fans as that would make the height fully adjustable rather than two pre-set options, but it does give the limited desk or floor based options in a stable format.
It is quiet in operation even at the highest setting, which moves a lot of air and is very cooling. The oscillation switch is a little stiff, but the motor itself is well greased (watch out for your flooring as some grease escaped when I was assembling the fan) and everything moves smoothly. It is effective, stable and good for cooling a large room. But a remote and an extendable pole would give improved ease of use.
I was somewhat skeptical that this fan would be significantly quieter than a regular AC fan; however I am pleased to say that it is absolutetly is. It uses significantly less power than an AC fan, I’d say about half the power of a normal fan from a rough “stand over there and see if it feels the same” test while measuring the power consumption.
Assembly was staight forward, however snapping the front guard on takes a bit of a knack. I managed to get it slightly off centre by one rung, which is now bugging me the logo isn’t perfectly horizontal. User error there though!
It’s pretty light weight yet feels sturdy.
With 12 speed controls you can get it just right. The remote is excellent, the only missing thing in the overall design is the ability to store the remote on the fan, a small pocked or hook would be ideal. Instead I’ve puit a self adhesive magnet on the remote and it attached to the metal part of the stand.
If I had a need for more fans, I’d buy this one without hesitation. Do not let the price put you off, this is a quality item.
Pelonis 16″ pedestal fan. pros….the plastic base and column are super shiny so great moulding, motor casing good, speed 1 = almost silent gentle breeze. 2 also very quiet. 3 + increases sound but not loud. mine is 129cm high and overall its a lovely product, But, cons….the steel column height adjusting bar is shortened from the Manual and box photos, I’d guess it was originally 135cm tall, pity. The blade makes a fair amount of noise at higher speeds, I suspect this is because the leading edge of the fan blade is square and Thick, When I think of the time and effort to design and make this product I am very surprised that a modern design fan blade is not present, it would cost no more and be fabulous . lastly, as this is a brushless dc motor with nothing touching the central array listening to the back of the motor on speed one I can hear a feint rumble which I believe to be the bearings and they could and should be silent. it would be a shame if after producing this lovely product in the future the bearing fails and then its off to landfill ! Hence four stars not five. Irritating concerns and easy fix for the manufacturers . Yes I will keep it. it’s great.
