It uses so little electricity but keeps our room clear of any contaminants. Along with the app you can see what pollutants are outside in the air and how clean your room is and it’s so quiet you don’t even notice it. Going to order another one for our bedroom.
I hot this air purifier as my pollen allergies are quite bad in the summer when windows are open most of the day.
It does tell me about the allergens and when the air quality drops.
Has a good app and works with Google and Alexa, a schedule and even an automatic mode.
It is really quiet on low speed.
What is missing!? A scent pad! Bought a cheaper one that has that scent release pad which makes a difference.
Maybe Philips should think about that.
Oh, and it is quite big!
This does work really well and the sleep mode I literally don’t hear it at all from the other side of the room.
I don’t find I need it on all night so I set the schedule timer for it to turn off at 2am. . . . Why for the love of God did you make it so beautifully quiet on sleep mode for it to then make a beep so loud the smoke alarm is envious!!! When it switches off :-/
I think most purifiers have that BEEP every time you press something or change something but I don’t understand why it needs the beep?
The air purifier is good and the sleep mode is quiet enough. The auto mode is fast and responsive! However the app is slow and sometimes unresponsive, you constantly have to refresh the app, but for the most part it’s alright, it does the job. I also wish there was another power setting, in between sleep and medium mode, as the sleep is to slow and the medium is to loud to have it on all the time. Overall it a well priced, nice, small purifier.
Got this last night. I’m working from home and having terrible sinus infections. I have terrible allergies, a cat and am also convinced our 1911 house is trying to kill me. I clean constantly and it still feels grubby.
Turned it on in sleep mode and showed 5, good. I put another log on the wood burner and it went up marginally. Put it on auto this morning and pretty similar.
Put it on turbo for half hour and it went up to 40. Cleaned out the log burner and shot up to 283! Half hour later, it’s gone back down to 20.
When I get this down to good again in here, I’ll be trying it in every room. Massively impressed if it cleans as well as it senses.
Testing out the auto function later when I light the log burner.
Looking forward to breathing again.
Firstly, I have awful sinus and breathing problems. I thought I had a clean environment to sleep in (having recently had new floors, ceiling and plastering). Turning this on for the first time really supprised me, as the app showed very high levels of 2.5pcm and maximum allergens. I put it in auto mode and within a few hours it dropped from very high levels to fair, and then after two days it settled at good air quailty and low allergens. It only peaks briefly should I vape in the room or let the pets in. So I’m confident it works and works well. It’s quite a compact unit and doesn’t take up much space, it’s very quiet on sleep mode or in auto mode when it’s at a good air quailty level, however it really kicks out some air and some noise on its max setting, as I would expect. I feel better from a breathing perspective, although I feel like checking the app has become an obsession! The app itself is pretty basic but nice and intuitive aswell as informative. It also keeps an easy to read log of the air quailty over a variety of time scales. Can’t fault it. I would however say that i hope finding replacment filters becomes easier for when I need to replace it, as I had trouble finding the compatible 600 series ones when checking, as this seems to be a relatively new unit I should imagine this will change so didn’t mark it down for this reason. Otherwise, it’s performing perfectly and for the price point I can’t fault it. Would recommend
I was a little sceptical when ordering this, as I’ve had purifiers before that have not been great.
This Phillips air purifier however has set the bar, and really does work. We tried this is several rooms of the house, to see if the air filtered and it does seem to work.
The first test was in the kitchen, we tried this with bacon cooking, as that smell in the air is difficult to get rid of, the purifier helped massively as the kitchen did seem to feel fresher and less of the “cooking smell”. We also tried this in the living area, as my mother in law has a continuous cough, from the dry air we wanted to try and see if this helped – as it circulates the air after purification. My mother in law did comment on how good this was and that she did feel the machine made a big difference to her (so much so she wants one)
The machine is quite large, and comes across as more of an industrial size, and is quite loud when running (constant loud humming) however this would be ideal in a small house as would work even better.
The filter has easy access to clean, and you can control via your mobile app to set it on and off when you desire
All in all I think this is a good value item, and although more expensive than others out there it is definitely worth the cost in my opinion.
