I have been dubious about these kind of portable air conditioning units, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised and it has been blummin’ lovely to have actually cold air circulating rather than just having a fun that blows warm air around the room!
I’m not entirely sure about the meaning of the ‘8000BTU’ cooling capacity, but it is more than sufficient for my living room and office (I move it between rooms as I need it thanks to the wheels on the bottom), and although it’s fairly large (compared to a regular fan), it’s not overly intrusive or unwieldy considering the weight is around 20kg.
The fan mode has two speeds, allowing for easy adjustment of the air output and cooling performance, but all modes are fairly loud in my opinion, but this is fine for me as I use headphones and simply turn it off during meetings as the room will already be cool if its been working for a little while.
Setting up the unit was thankfully very straightforward, although you’ll likely need to purchase a different window seal kit if you have windows that swing open, as the included window venting kit is made for sliding windows. The controls on both the unit itself and the include remote control are intuitive, and the 24-hour timer is a useful feature for scheduling operation times.

This 4-in-1 Portable Air Conditioner is amazing! The 7000BTU cooling power keeps my room cool even on hot days. Having the office over the garage is perfect in the winter but in the summer its very hot, this air conditioner really helps by cooling the larger room. Only down side I would say is that the unit is very heavy so moving can be difficult on carpet. I had to to buy an extender to extender the hot air pipe.
I would recommend this air conditioning unit. It actually blows out cool air and the bedroom was cool after an hour. I left it on for a few hrs before bed and it was great. Very easy to fit the pipe and it fits out the window easily. Its a bit noisy but doesn’t keep you awake.
What a great investment buying this air conditioning unit. So much better than a fan spinning around pushing hot air around the lounge.

– Smaller than what I thought it will be (very compact unit – including when boxed on delivery)
– Quite sound unit compared to some units I have seen.
– light weight. Easy to carry upstairs from lounge to bedroom
– Setup – Click on the remote control or unit to turn on or change temp control. Easy to control it.
– Has a child lock and sleep function on it. (Not used it yet)

– Did not include two batteries for the remote control
– Waited too long to buy one. So happy I brought it now.
FYI – Need to leave it to stand for 6 hours before turning on due to the built in. Compressor.
This works great and cools the room really fast to a great temp. It is however very noisy so i returned it. I wanted it for my bedroom and because of the room layout it needed to be right next to my bed. It was just too noisy to sleep so sadly i returned it. It was easy to assemble the window vent and very portable with the wheels. Price was great too.
I suffer from a skin condition and when I get too hot it gets worse. Bought this aircon unit after reading the positive reviews. Been using it every night for just over a week and during the day as the temperatures have started to increase and it’s excellent! Cools the room down by 2 degrees each half hour. It is sleek and well built made it look nice wherever it is kept. It has Low noise and has effective cooling system and that is what we are after. Although the unit is heavier It is portable and easy to move around the house. Overall a good purchase and hope it lasts longer.

I purchased this unit to cool down my son’s bedroom during the recent heatwave. It cooled and dehumidified the room quickly, making him more comfortable. It is easy to move around from room to room and is able to cool a medium/large sized room. Very easy to set up, excellent quality and overall very happy with my purchase.
purchased this for my attic room. It works perfectly and does the job. I’ve used it a few times and am very happy with the purchase. It also comes with a window seal, which is beneficial, so you don’t have to purchase it separately. It cools the room effectively. I highly recommend this product.
It’s a little loud for my tiny flat, but cooled it the room in 10 mins so we could then turn it off!
Great air con unit!
When looking at replacement cost of dehumidifiers alone they were approaching nearly 200 and I noticed that I could spend modestly more money to also get the bonus functionality of a full air-conditioning unit for in the summer months when the conservatory tends to be too hot to be able to use, when temperatures often exceeded over 40.
I’ll point out that this unit is much heavier than a standalone dehumidifier, so be aware if you move a dehumidifier around your house then this may not be suitable for you. Our dehumidifier stays in a static position in our conservatory so leaving this one in position is not a problem for us.
At the moment my plan is initially to vent this out of the the window and the flexi pipe and the window fixing kit are all supplied which was one of decisions points to buy this model. You can easily spend about 50 on these accessories so keeps the cost down. Depending on the results I may consider drilling a permanent vent using a diamond core 5″ hole into the lower brickwork of the conservatory, but want to hold off doing this until I’m convinced the unit will adequately reduce the temperature in the conservatory during the hot spells. It’s doing a good job as a dehumidifier and when I’ve tested out the aircon the unit blows super chilly air so all looking promising. Noise levels are on par with our outgoing model. I couldn’t be happier.
