RGB Switch TV Docking Station & Wall Mount for Nintendo
RGB Switch TV Docking Station & Wall Mount for Nintendo Switch/OLED & Joycon, Controller Charging Dock Base with 15 Light Mode & 4 USB Port, Switch Organizer for 10 Card Slots, 2 Hooks, 4 Wrist Strap
So I initially ordered the TV dock version. You can see my review in the video.
TV dock version:
Switching between dock and handheld is impractical and sometimes buggy. Sometimes my switch appears to be dead and I have to hold the power button for ten seconds for it to respond again. Also the switch does not sit stable at all. It’s very wobbly. I wish I got the version without the TV dock so I could use the original one clamped down.
Otherwise it’s nice.

Update: After my video review, the company reached out to me and acknowledged that I wish i ordered the version without the TV dock. They offered to send me this version without any additional cost! I am very happy with the no tv dock version because:
– This version is more stable, the switch sits more secure than before.
– I’m using the switch dock. Which means I dont have it laying around somewhere else.
– The switch dock gets the power from one of the USB ports on the switch dock, with a small usb cable.
Due to the excellent customer service of this company I have updated my rating to 5 stars. Personally I highly recommend the ‘No TV Dock’ version!
I love this wall mount for my switch. Everything about it feels really sturdy so I’m not even a little bit worried about anything falling. The wall bracket and the pro controller hangers are built really smart in the way that they connect. There’s charging docks for 2 sets of joycons plus 2 USB ports for charging the pro controllers. In addition there’s slots for storing 2 sets of babycons, one extra pair of joycons, and 10 game cart slots.
It gets power for charging and for the RGB from the switch dock itself and sometimes it kind of flickers, turning off and on again a few times in a row within about 20 to 30 seconds. I’m not sure if this is an issue with the mount itself or if my dock is being weird. It only happens once in a while so it doesn’t really take away from all the good stuff about it. Because the power is coming from the dock it charges the extra joycons a bit slower if your switch isn’t fully charged, but honestly I barely notice.
Overall, I really love this wall mount, it holds all of my switch accessories and makes sure all my joycons are charged when I need them.
I love this. wasnt sure at first if i wanted a wall mount for the switch, but it makes it look awesome. the glowing lights. and just holds everything we have. and its pretty sturdy. great product definitely recommend
This product IS better than the nintendo switch dock. It charges around the same speed but it’s super easy to use more portable because of it’s size and fits almost anywhere. You should definitely pick this up
Wir durften die Wandhalterung fr die Nintendo Switch im Rahmen des Amazon Vine Programmes testen. Dies beeinflusst unsere Meinung in keinem Fall.
My original plan was to install this behind my wall mounted tv. I currently have a very simple home made wall mount for the stock switch base back there and 2 little hooks (which I believe were intended for shovels?) from home Depot which I put my controllers on. This would have been great as It would be able to hold everything in one spot behind the tv. The issue is it is alot burger than I expected it to be and does not fit behind the tv.
Its not the end of the world! It makes a great charging station in general, I will mount it to the wall as soon as I rethink my configuration but in the meantime I have it on the cabinet under the tv set up as a charge station. it makes a great home for 3 sets of joycons, although it only charges 2 sets at a time (4 cons) and the 2 usb ports charge the pro controllers. We have 2 boys so between me and them we have accumulated a lot of controllers over the years so this is like a nice little home for everything, the RGB lights are pretty cool too but im more interested in the hardware.
Overall this is a great base for the factory switch dock and charging station for all of your controllers, definetely recommend.
It is great to hold everything together, and the ability to charge your controllers is nice. My only critique is that I wish there were a way to wrap the excess charging chords under the device hidden. If you look at my photo, there’s a small lip I use to hang my headphones, although I don’t think it’s what it was intended for because they slip off very easily and fall on the ground. Overall, the lights add color to the room and keeps everything together.
In my quest for an efficient docking station and storage solution for my Nintendo Switch, I stumbled upon this combo accessory, and I must say, it’s a decent find.
Firstly, the ability to charge while in the dock is a convenient feature. However, I did notice that charging the Pro controller requires running a USB cable from one of the ports, which slightly detracts from the seamless experience.
While the Switch fits snugly into the dock, I did find myself wishing for a bit more security in its mounting. A slight wobble to the left or right left me feeling uneasy, although I understand that addressing this might increase the dock’s size.
Another minor gripe is the placement of the HDMI and power cables, which protrude from the side rather than the back. A tidier arrangement would have been preferable for a sleeker aesthetic.
It’s worth noting that you’ll still need your Switch power adapter, which limits the convenience if you’re looking to have multiple Switch locations without moving the adapter between them.
That being said, this accessory does offer a practical solution for wall-mounting your Switch while keeping all your accessories within reach. It strikes a balance between functionality and convenience, making it a worthy addition to any Switch owner’s setup.
When it comes to organizing your switch’s many, many accessories, this thing is fantastic. The docks for the joycons and wrist-straps are generous in quantity and work very well. Having 10 of your cartridges on easy-access standby is also fantastic.
The hooks for the controllers are great, they fit every type of switch controller I’ve tried with them, and the little secondary hook underneath them, despite none of the pictures on Amazon show them being in use- are great for headphones. Not all headphones, my huge bulky Philips Fidelio X2 didn’t quite fit, but headphone stands those monsters fit on are few and far between, so that’s honestly to be expected for me. My more regular headphones had absolutely no problems.
Installation was a breeze, though depending on your setup, make sure that your switch cables (The AC adapter and HDMI) are able to reach it’s new position, as that was the largest problem for me. And do make sure you use the right adapter- the one that came with your switch, or another official one. Not just any old USB-C will work.
I love being able to switch between Docked mode and undocked with the touch of the finger print button on the front or the one on the back, without having to actually take the switch off it’s dock. And the selectable lights are more numerous than I thought they’d be, though I wish the lightning bolts for the joycon chargers also changed pallette with the different lighting effects. It is nice that they have a visual indicator for whether or not your joycons are charged, though.
The biggest problem is that the build quality isn’t incredible- the construction is mostly plastic and while it’s not a device that is going to see heavy abuse (Hopefully), I would have at least hoped for the mount itself to be made of metal. Secondly, the actual part where the USB-C connects into the switch is rather.. Loose. Your switch can wobble on top of it a little which, while not a huge problem overall, is a little disconcerting. I would have liked to see a spring-pressure platform under it, like comes with the stock switch, or simply some plastic platforms on the sides, underneath the device, to help hold it steady.
Other than those minor complaints, though, this thing is great, and has freed up a ton of desk room for me by consolidating my headphone/controller stands and getting the switch out of the way, and I would consider it well worth the money even with it’s minor flaws.
We have two TV’s in the house that we like to play our Switch on so I wanted to get another dock instead of moving the included one around all the time. This dock provides a full solution for storing, charging, and docking.
As far as a docking station, this works well right out of the box, plug in the HDMI and power, dock the Switch and you are done. The dock also includes slots to store game cartridges, and slots on the side to charge extra Joy-Cons. You can also mount this dock on the wall using the included bracket and hardware, mounting it also lets you use the pro controller holders. I personally will not be mounting this on the wall but its nice to have the option.
The dock itself is made up of two halves, the top smaller square is the actual docking part, this is where the HDMI and power cables are plugged into. There is also a flap that can be flipped down to cover the USB-C docking port. this is nice as it makes the little docking square portable, just unplug and pop it off the main base and take it with you, very handy for trips. One small issue I have with the dock though is how unstable the Switch feels while docked, really the only thing holding it in place is the USB-C plug, I wish it had a bit more support on the sides.
The bottom part of this base is much larger, this is where the cartridge cutouts and Joy-Con charging ports are. There is also a RGB light strip at the bottom to add to the look. The smaller docking square connects to this base through a built in USB-A port to provide power to the base. There is a button to control the RGB, I just wished it came on and off with the Switch, it’s all manual so I tend to not bother turning it on.
Overall it is a nice dock and provides lots of options for charging and storing games and accessories. Being able to remove the smaller docking square to take on the go is a nice added bonus.
Hung up nice. Feel that it will easily support my system. Would have liked to see an option for the inputs on the mirror display module be on either side of the design because I would have rather mounted it to the left of my tv, but then I would have had a longer run for my wires that would be more unsightly. Best mounted to the Right or below your TV if you want to minimize that. I love that it comes with a perfectly sized bubble level to insure a straight install. I like it!
Do note that you’ll need to use your power cable that came with your Nintendo switch. I was hoping to use this as a second docking station so I could easily move my system from one room to another, so I will need to buy another cable for HDMI/Power etc.
