It’s a cool light bulb, but not very smart. It’s absolutely amazing how many use cases I have for being able to change the colour of my light bulb. Maybe, if I have a fire when there’s guests over they won’t notice if the room is red. How useful! Unfortunately, there’s a bit of delay when asking Alexa to turn on the bulb, and the guests might notice the fire before I camouflage the room in time. Jokes aside, there’s also a bit of delay when turning on the bulb from the light switch of the room compared to a regular light bulb. Also, some colours simply can’t be produced, ‘yellow’ looks like luminous orange juice.
TL;DR: A nice gimmick, but a bit useless. Some colours look a bit weird and there’s some delay on switching on the bulb.
This smart RGB bulb works perfectly fine with alexa. Installation was easy and everything was perfect. I would love it more if there is more brightness. Anyhow value for money. Recommended.
I turned the light on, it lit up the room along with my life. It is my guiding light through the darkness, Iights well, never leaves me in the dark.
So far so good. Not an exceptionally bright light bulb but it’s definitely very easy to install. I basically didn’t have to do anything but plug it in and turn the light on then I was notified by Alexa that she found it and already set it up. It gives your room a nice hue depending on your room, plenty of choice in terms of colours.
Also different lighting you can download the app on your phone so you can turn lights on and off in every room you have one ! You can use it to give ambience to a room with the colours better on the phone as you can use lighter shades of the colours spectrums! Fantastic when you get upstairs realise you left a light on just tell Alexa or use your app to turn it off ! Great product ! It took a little time to set up but I am not technically minded, so if I can do it do can you !
I am so excited to finally have a matter bulb. I have previously had some soft white Sengled smart lights and was waiting for the color matter to be released in the UK. I wanted a bulb I can use with multiple smart home platforms. I use Alexa and Google home app throughout my flat. Now I can go from app to app without any problems! I opened the package and updated my Alexa and echo devices. I screwed in the bulb and it immediately found it. I said “Alexa, turn first light green.” There you go so EASY. The colors are great even at 30% strength as in the pics. The bulbs are really bright and clear at 100% white and I can also just make it soft white like I usually have my lights when I am relaxing. Movie night will be fun this week with my neighbors. Can’t wait to put this on for Christmas with the tree up. I would definitely recommend this for smart lighting beginners or someone with lots of smart home platforms!
