Never played these games before, but despite the story being a bit confusing at first I’m liking it, the music in the battles is very thrilling, the turn based combat is the norm, like how you can modify your party and create new allies, exploration is amusing as well, a different but visually nice world to explore
My son loved this game. It has a nice amount of game play to it and kept him entertained for hours. As for the content, I can’t personally say, but I did not hear any complaints.
If you’ve played SMT 3 Nocturne this is a big upgrade and a nice story follow on to that game. The combat is similar and the graphics and atmosphere are far improved. Whichever path you choose be prepared for some hard choices…and don’t get too attached to people!
This is an updated, improved, re-released version of the original. I’m not sure there is enough here to warrant double dipping if you own the original, but the gameplay and storyline are both still highly recommended.
