Bought this screen to help with work and it’s been perfect. Much easier to get jobs done with an extended screen. Came with all the wires and was quick to set up. Also very lightweight so easy to carry. Great value for money.
Does what it says on the tin. It’s nothing particularly fancy, the build isn’t overly impressive but it does the job and it’s a decent price. I don’t have too many other portable monitors to compare them to others at this price point so can’t say how it fares.
This one does have the benefit of a full size HDMI port while some others use a mini HDMI. Saves you using adapters or other cables. There’s a HDR option but I don’t know if mine was faulty, but I couldn’t get it to work right. Customer support was superb and really helpful, worth a bump in reviews score alone.
The picture quality, again, is fine. It didn’t amaze me, but it does have a non reflective screen which is a big boost. It took a fair bit of tuning for me to get it right. Initially it was far too dim.
There are 3 buttons on the side.
The top one (1) adjusts volume, The middle one (2) is used to tweak further settings and also as a “select” option, the bottom one (3) adjust brightness.
So when you press 1 first, holding 1 will increase the volume, holding 2 will exit the menu, and holding 3 decrease the volume. Same if you press 3 first, just for brightness instead.
Pressing 2 first will let you change further options like contrast, colours, picture mode, colour temperature, etc. Here, 1 and 3 act as your scroll buttons, while 2 remains a select option to go into the different settings. Holding 2 always works as a “back” button to get out of menus.
I write that out in the hope it helps because it can be a little confusing at first and therefore tricky to tweak the settings how you want. It’s not immediately clear what they all do but you get to grips with it by playing around. I was able to set it to a level I was content with and have kept it that way.
Audio quality is good, surprisingly decent for a small monitor. Gets suitably loud and isn’t too tinny. I’m not a huge fan of the single stand. It’s fine on completely flat services but the way I have it set up it does rock a bit which can mean it tips. It’s not wildly unstable or anything, but if you’ve used a Nintendo Switch with a stand you’ll know what it can be like. It’s nice and lightweight too. It’s a plastic body but has so far been quite sturdy and taken a few tumbles.
I don’t really know if it’s the best screen for the price, since I’ve not tried others but it does do the job and the customer service was very good. If the review was helpful please click the helpful button below 🙂
Overall excellent delivery from what the specification is telling.
There are 2 USB-C ports and I found that any one can be used for power support or charging my mobile phone. However I found that video input from the source computer or video player can only be via the HDMI port and not from any of the USB-C ports.
I also found that tilt-stand that keeps the monitor upright looks a bit fragile and recommend to handle with care in adjusting the angle.
The 13″portable laptop monitor is designed with dual HDMI ports that can connect two different devices simultaneously.
It’s compatible with PCs so that you can have two split screens, one on your computer and another on the monitor, ideal when working from home and needing to see the various pieces of work you’re doing at a glance saving having to keep opening and closing the various pieces of work.
It is also compatible with other devices like, PS3/PS4/PS5, Xbox, and more. Additionally, the Type-C port can power the display.
The monitor also comes with a 3.5mm audio input, enabling you to watch videos and listen to music whilst traveling or during your leisure time.
The monitor is very lightweight and can be carried within your laptop case with no problem at all, and without adding too much weight to the case.
As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I review and report on each item I receive in a non-partial, non-favouritism method. I am fully honest whether a good, bad, or indifferent review report is given.
Slik, good looking lightweight 15.6″ screen. Comes with usb charger, HDMI and USB c cables. Built in speakers that are very decent quality and sound. Picture is clear and sharp with matt screen. Loads of ports to connect via and built in screen settings. Loving this with my SteamDeck
