At first the quality of this cable seems very good. Connectors are made to good standards with braided cable for extra protection. It works well and the picture quality seems good. Obviously, I can’t precisely measure the quality of picture in any way as I don’t have any means to do this. However, it is good just as expected so I am happy about that.

In this life we are still all reliant on cables for many things so buying quality is important. This cable is a good quality cable that delivers exactly what it should. It appears very durable and well made so I think it will last well only time will tell. For an 8k cable it is about the same price as most so no better or worse value.

This cable arrives in an easy recycle plastic ziplock bag. As for the cable itself, it’s well-made with from tough braided nylon and has solid metal connectors, so it should last a long time. It’s also lighter than traditional rubberised HDMI cables.

Initially it was a little bit stuff to use, especially when going around tight corners. Though after a few uses it does ‘relax’ and will be more bendable. As for using it, I don’t have anything that does 8K, so I can’t confirm if it does that or not. But I can for sure it works perfectly on a DSLR and a laptop.

On both devices providing a high quality image. Overall ? It does the job it’s meant to do and it does it well.

Its a HDMI cable of which I have many, but i needed the MICRO and NOT the MINI, my mistake but ill just keep anyway, it was for use with a video camera rig, so the shorter length is convenient.

Easy way to use a camera with a mini hdmi as an output on the tv to show off pictures and videos or if your camera supports a clean video out over hdmi a easy way to have a high quality webcam on a pc with a capture card so great for streaming etc. cable is a little firm and keeps its wound shape for a few days after being opened but nothing to complain about.

I use this with my Panasonic HC-X900M camcorder to connect to a larger screen while recording, and it’s ideal. The cable’s not too heavy (especially important when hanging on a camcorder connector) and appears to be well-made throughout.

You may wish to pair it with an angled mini-HDMI adaptor (left/right/up/down angle depending on your device) to further reduce stress on the socket. Amazon sells a variety of mini HDMI angled adapters.

A tip if using it for live monitoring: mute the TV otherwise you’ll get feedback as soon as it picks up any sound.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful for a camcorde

Great quality cable from Silkland. Latest standard at the time of writing my review Hdmi 2.1 support up to 8K 60Hz and lovely length of 2 meters. This cable is braided which gives it better protection vs rubber cables. The hdmi ports have resolution displayed on them 8K which is nice but I prefer the standard 2.1 which will clearly say which version of the cable it is but still better vs nothing. Performance ok NO issues and I will love to start seeing side grips for easier manipulation which this cable does not have but still great cable. Build quality is OK. Thank you.

I’ve got a number of Slikland cables and all have proven to be good, this one is no different. I used this to connect my camera to an external recording unit and it works well, supporting the full resolution available.

I prefer to limit the number of adapters and so this cable with mini HDMI and regular HDMI connectors suits my camera and recorder. I also use this to capture the menus of the camera for presentations and training using a HDMI capture card.

The cable has a braided sheath and sold metal connectors with gold plated connections.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the function of this cable, I miss read that it was a mini HDMI and I don’t have any devices to be able to use it with.
The feel of the cable and the materials that are used do feel like a really nice faulty product, the connectors are solid and fit well whilst being easy to hold.

This is a beautifully made, HDMI cable, from SILKLAND. It is 2 metres long, and is created as a Mini-HDMI to an HDMI, with up to a staggering 8K at 60hz, AND backward compatible too such as 4k at 144hz, 1080p at 240hz. The cable is even bi-directional.
The quality cable enables streaming of audio and video from cameras, camcorders, tablets, graphics cards, or laptops through the mini HDMI Port to your HDTV/Projector/Monitor with an HDMI port.
Best of all, It is HDMI 2.1, and to give you an idea of the speed capability, HDMI 2.1 will provide
up to 48Gpbs, whilst the slightly older HDMI 2.0 provides 18Gpbs, and the much older HDMI 1.4 will provide 10.8Gpbs. So as you can see, this HDMI2.1 is awesome!.
At the time of writing it is available in 0.3 metres, 1 metre and 2 metres. I chose the 2 metre length.
The makers, SILKLAND say to “make sure your device features a mini HDMI port, not a micro HDMI or micro USB. This supports both ‘mini HDMI to HDMI’ and ‘HDMI to mini HDMI’.”
I have included 11 images of the 2 metre cable in and out the packing and also in use . Some of the included images are the makers description images. Thank you for a very advanced and useful product.

I’ve has used cables from this manufacturer before and they have always been reliable. I’m using this one with my Pi-Zero-W running Pi Hole. The Pi runs mainly headless, but occasionally I need to hook it up to my TV (I’m no linux expert), and this does the job (and is neater than using a standard HDMI cable with an HDMI-mini adaptor).

The cable is well made – decent braiding and extra protection round the connector/sleeve joint at both ends. It is rated up to 8K/60Hz – way better specs than I need – but I have tested in my AVR set up (with an adaptor) and it (unsurprisingly) handles 4K/50Hz without issue.

Overall, it is a well-made cable that performs well, ideal for a Pi or anything else with a mini (not micro) HDMI connection (like an older NUC for example)
