Having purchased a Switch OLED for Christmas we have so far purchased one controller, so when i was offered this to try I thought it would be perfect for my 6 year old to use. I’d say it’s actually better! In terms of cost it’s about 8 more than the one we bought on offer, and for that reason I have deducted a star, just because I don’t think it is worth THAT much more and it is quite expensive.

    Switch controller

An adorable little switch controller. This seems good quality, well made, nothing feels cheap, or flimsy.

This was fairly quick and easy to set up, we did need the instructions as it wasn’t obvious in the settings which section we needed but the instructions made it very easy to sort.

Once connected, it worked perfectly, no lags in pressing buttons, or using directions.

I would recommend it. Works brilliantly and looks cute too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely controller to use

I knew the kids would love this controller as soon as I saw it and they sure did!!

The super cute puppy design adorable especially when the ears light up when you initially switch it on.

The kids found the controller comfortable to hold, set up and connect with their console. They were able to navigate its features very comfortably and found it to be very responsive.

The only issue we have is that there is only the one controller so both the kids can have their own so I will definitely be purchasing another one, probably a different animal design so that they can have one each.

Overall the kids are happy with the controller and would happily recommend.

I recently got the Switch Pro Controller, and it’s a game-changer! This wireless controller works perfectly with my Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and even my PC. The cute puppy design is a fun touch, and it’s surprisingly comfortable to hold. The vibration feedback is just right, making every game feel more immersive. Plus, you can program the buttons to your liking, which is super handy. Overall, it’s a fantastic controller that’s both functional and adorable. Highly recommend!

The STOGA Cute Puppy Switch Controller has been a big hit with the grandkids. Not only is the design very attractive for kids, the ears light up too which makes it even more appealing.

It is USB rechargeable which is brilliant compared to old battery ones we’ve used in the past as these things tend to eat batteries, and it cost me a fortune. It also comes with a wire so it can be used as a wired controller too if it runs flat whilst it’s being played with.

The build quality is on a par with the official controllers and the buttons etc are all responsive. It vibrates as it should. The buttons are the traditional Nintendo layout so takes a bit of getting used to if using it on a PC.

Overall, great controller, five stars from our household.

This controller is so stinkin’ cute I can’t even deal with it. It’s the size of a typical controller (Xbox comes to mind). It’s got ears on the bumper buttons, and when you turn on the controller or plug it in to charge, the ears light up! AHH!

The buttons feel very akin to Nintendo’s controller design, in that the buttons are flat-topped discs and have a great, tight bounce. They feel like quality buttons, and the joysticks are also of nice quality. All of it very comfortable on the fingers and thumbs. There are, unfortunately, “M” buttons on the back of the controller’s handles, which usually drives me insane because I’m prone to pressing them on accident, constantly. However, those buttons on this controller are small and fairly out-of-the-way, so I haven’t had any issues with those buttons on this, yet.

Took me a minute to realize the “nose” is the start button. Consulting the instructions is a nightmare, as they’re printed in a very small, thin, serif font, and since the instructions are in several languages, the instruction sheet is MASSIVE once you unfold it.

If you’re using this controller with Steam, please be advised that the A and B buttons are reversed from other style controllers (ie Xbox), so if you don’t like that, you can simply go to your Steam controller settings, select the Nintendo controller, and you’ll see an option for reversing A & B buttons. Easy peasy! As well, once connected to the PC via Bluetooth, the PC/Steam had no problem identifying and setting up the controller.

My only complaints, really, are the vibration, and the looseness of certain parts, which kind of go hand-in-hand causing an overall issue. I had to turn off the vibration feature because it was SO LOUD compared to our Xbox controllers, and due to its special shape (ie, the ears), not every button/trigger on the controller is sat tightly in the housing. This means that not only was the vibration itself loud and powerful, but it was rattling the ears/misc plastic around, making it much worse. But, turning it off took care of that.

Overall, the controller works great, connected great, and I’ve had a lot of fun showing my friends my new ridiculously cute controller — none of whom have disagreed with me yet!

4.0 out of 5 stars SO cute, but vibration is obnoxious

Great design, good feel to it and doesn’t feel as plasticky or cheap as the images might suggest!

Made a great present for my niece and used on a switch.

No surprises, it’s a decent controller and had no problems connecting. Just press the pairing button.

My granduaghters face lit up when I gave her this. She loves playing the switch with her dad and this is perfect for her. This is very much like a well known branded controller and we have found this is much easier for her to use compared to the switch. She loves the design and the way the ears light up. Feels a sturdy controller and I do think it’s reasonably priced. I have one very happy grandaughter.

The design is so cute, I love it. It has a nice grip and the buttons and controls are very responsive (probably not the right choice if you’re wanting to do competative games, but perfectly fine for solo games). It’s comfortable to use too.

Bought this as a joke really for my friends to use when they come over, but I was quite surprised when i unboxed it as the controls were quite fluid and responsive. The build quality was also pretty decent as well. Connecting the controller via bluetooth to my computer only took seconds and it was a breeze. lastly i was very amused by all the flashing lights, but then again this is a controller meant for kids but still, surprisingly good quality for a kids controller.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cute and good quality

Overall this controller is just as good as it’s branded competitors. It responds well to commands, charges with USB and can be used across different platforms – from PC to Switch.

It is easy to use and has the cute addition that the nose of the dog is a home button.

My only negative comment is that I have tried to use the controller on PC for different games and have found that it only responds to Steam games, such as GTA.

This is a nice third party controller which works seamlessly.

There instructions make it easy to set up and pair and the charge holds for a long time.

The Puppy design is nice and it feels responsive when playing.

The downside is the price. It is not much cheaper than buying an OEM controlle

I recently started using the STOGA Cute Puppy Switch Controller, and it has been a fantastic addition to my gaming setup. The adorable puppy design adds a fun and unique touch, making it stand out from more generic controllers. It works seamlessly with my Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and even my PC, making it a versatile choice for various gaming platforms.

The wireless functionality is reliable, providing a responsive and lag-free gaming experience. The customizable buttons are a great feature, allowing me to tailor the controller to my specific gaming preferences. The turbo function is especially handy for repetitive actions, enhancing my overall gaming experience.

However, I found that the battery life could be improved. While it lasts for a decent amount of time, I find myself needing to recharge it more frequently than I would like, especially during long gaming sessions.

Overall, the STOGA Cute Puppy Switch Controller is a well-made, fun, and functional gaming accessory. It offers great value for money with its customizable buttons and turbo function, though a longer battery life would make it even better. If you’re looking for a unique and effective controller, this one is definitely worth considering.

So the obvious standout feature of this controller is that it’s super cute. I like that when you press the shoulder buttons the ears bob up and down. Controller itself is comfortable to hold and you can easily reach all of the buttons and joysticks. The d-pad is perfectly okay. It’s not anything you’d be wanting to fight competitively in a one-on-one fighter with, but it works. I doubt this is going to be your primary pad so I don’t think do matters all that much. I don’t think a player two would complain if past this controller. Not much else to say really. I tested it on my switch and found that it was easy to connect and I didn’t notice any untoward latency. Did I say it was cute? Thoroughly recommended.

This works very well, and my son for whom it was intended for is very pleased with it. I have tested it out myself and it does everything it’s meant to, but I did find that the ears on the top buttons (why there are cat ears on what’s meant to be a puppy I don’t know) are situated pretty much where my fingers would need to go if I was to be able to use the controller comfortably. The ears light up, which I wasn’t expecting and is a nice touch. It feels well put together. The battery is not user replaceable but hopefully if looked after it will last a while. I haven’t experienced any missed button-presses or disconnections so far. I would recommend this controller if you want something that’s a bit of fun, maybe for younger children to use, especially if you don’t want to hand them one of your original Switch controllers to use.

The controller is yellow with pink ears, and grey trim. The ears on the controller light up. It has the, standard Nintendo Switch buttons. The keys feel nice . The switch controller is comfortable to hold and can be used to play for hours.

It is easy to charge as it has the standard Nintendo Switch charger It is lightweight And due to the colour there’s no way I could lose it. I love the design. It is very unique.

I’ve not seen anything else like this on the market. I would highly recommend it 4 out of 15. The reason why I wouldn’t give a 5 out of 5 is because it is quite tricky to pair as the instructions were not very easy to understand.

4.0 out of 5 stars Unique and colorful

Let’s start with the obvious – this controller’s puppy design is absolutely adorable! The cartoony look with the big eyes and floppy ears is sure to appeal to younger gamers especially. Despite the cute aesthetics, it still feels solidly built with a nice weight and grip texture.

In terms of functionality, I was impressed by the responsiveness and low latency in wireless mode when paired to my Switch. The buttons have a satisfying clicky feedback too. The programmable rear buttons and adjustable turbo feature for rapid-fire are great for competitive games.

The rumble/vibration is pretty strong, adding to the immersive experience in supported titles. I also appreciated being able to tweak the sensitivity of the analog sticks to my preferences.

My main gripes are that the d-pad could be a bit more precise and tactile for fighting games/platformers. And while fun, those protruding puppy eyes may get in the way for some players with larger hands.

This controller is every bit as good as some of the official ones, plus the design is very appealing, especially to youngsters – my kids currently argue over who gets to use this one lol.

The general shape is nice to hold and the buttons and thumbsticks are nicely responsive. I love how they’ve incorporated some of the buttons into the design – the home button is the ‘nose’, the ears are part of the L1/R1 buttons, whilst the large back paws operate the L2/R2 buttons – it really is a great design.

I also appreciate that it connects to the Switch console by Bluetooth straightaway – no need to use the cable at all, not even for the first use.
I’ve also used it with my Steam Deck with no issues at all.

My only one gripe is that the included instructions are so very tiny!

Overall it’s a great controller of good quality and it makes a rather fun alternative to one of the official controllers 🙂

Super cute game controller for kids or adults alike. Buttons are responsive, as you would expect, and it functions just like any other game controller. It comes with a usb c cable for easy plug and play or you can use it wirelessly. It will work with switch or PC and I would also expect it to work with X-Box. One advantage it has over some other controllers is that it has two macro buttons so you can program complex or repetitive tasks and execute them with one button press. Cute and it has macro buttons, what’s not to love!

This controller is rather cute. I love the light up ears and the home button is the cat’s nose. It paired easily to the Switch and works fine. Possibly not quite the best quality build but I still like it.
