I have previously owned the syncwire ring (plain one) and thought this design was stunning. It rotates well and magnet is strong but the ring isn’t sunk into the ring like my previous one so it sticks out the back of the phone even further.
I recently tried out this – the incredible Magnetic Phone Ring! Absolutely love this SYNCWIRE Magnetic Finger Phone Ring Stand Holder! It has a strong hold, thin profile, and unbeatable convenience. Initially, I was sceptical about its adherence, wondering if it could really hold up, especially without a case. But it has exceeded my expectations! Whether I use it with my MagSafe silicone case or go case-free, it attaches to my phone securely.

I absolutely love this magnetic phone grip, although its super strong magnetism does actually prove to be a bit of a flaw, in my case.
I have a Samsung S24 Ultra with an Otterbox case. I used the white magnetic adhesive ring to stick to the case – the adhesion is fantastic and it looks great. The phone grip itself is beautiful and pearly. The ring makes it easier to hold my phone and to stand it up on a flat surface (for watching videos, for instance).
The problem is that the magnetic is so strong that removing the ring is a bit of an issue! I have to slide it sideways, rather than trying to pull it up and away from the phone, otherwise it looks and feels as though it’s going to rip the case off my phone!
The only other minor inconvenience is that I have to remove the ring to put my phone in my car phone holder, otherwise it makes my phone too chunky and falls out. I then end up accidentally leaving the ring in my car because I forget I’ve had to take it off!
Overall, it’s great and I’m very happy to recommend.

Syncwire do these phone ring holders in a variety of different colours, but in my opinion this is the best colour out of the lot, and I purchased this for my wife who has a rose gold coloured phone. This compliments that phone beautifully and makes an ordinary mobile phone look like a trendy fashion accessory. This is definitely one for the ladies with it’s sparkly diamond look around the inside of the ring.
Not only does this have great looks, it’s made with top quality materials and is designed really well and that design makes this very versatile indeed. The inner ring on the holder rotates a full 360 degrees, and as it does so it makes this really cool clicking noise, further enhancing it’s appeal. It then bends outwards so that you can use it to easily pickup your phone, but the best thing about it is that it folds out so that you can use it as a kickstand. As you can rotate the ring to where you like you can use this to have your phone stand either horizontally or vertically.
It feels nice and solid in your hands and the magnetic power is about as strong as you can get. It uses Neodymium magnets, which are the strongest permanent magnets you can get on the market. My phone has the Mag Safe ring built into it so this has no problem sticking to my phone. Even if you don’t have a MagSafe ring built into your phone or your case, you can always buy these rings on Amazon and stick them on the back of whatever phone you have.
The main problem I have with this product, is that you can not charge your phone wirelessly with this ring holder on, and this is why I have given this 4 stars instead of 5. It is a bit of a nuisance having to take it off every time I want to charge my phone wirelessly, which is pretty much all the time now.
So, the elephant in the room gets the first mention – The outer ring looks like sparkly diamonds in the picture, however the actual product is much darker, and doesn’t catch the light nearly as much. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, unless you wanted something very blingy, in which case, this isn’t the magsafe grip for you.
Overall though, it’s a good product. It’s supplied with two stick on magnetic rings for you to attach the phone grip to, so you could use it on two phones/cases, or keep a spare in case you mess it up. These flat discs don’t interfere with wireless charging. They’ll happily fit to the back of your phone, in the case, and will hold the grip tightly. It’ll also work with magsafe cases without adding the magnetic circles provided.
The actual grip itself does stick out a bit though by a few millimetres, but it is removable, which you’ll need to do with most wireless chargers, unless you’ve got a mag safe with the centre cut out.
Once connected magnetically to the case, it’s easy to spin round in to position for easy holding or using as a stand, but there’s a lot of resistance to just pulling it off, you would have to put a bit of effort in to it (although not too much). It is easier though (and recommended in the instructions) to slide it off, rather than pull it, a lot less effort involved. I felt confident holding my phone (a heavy Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra) by the grip, and shaking it around – fortunately when I did that there was no hint of movement, so it passed the test with flying colours.
I quite like the fact that it’s not blingy, it’s got more of a carbon look to it.
