I love the colour and the ‘fit’ it’s smooth on the mouse pad, fits in my hand really nicely and I like the on/off setting on the bottom of the mouse and I can chuck it in my backpack and bring it home to do work at home too.
I like this mouse a lot, it is nice and fast and the color is pretty. The one star less deduction is because there are getting to be dark spots where my two fingers rest on the mouse… I don’t think I am a dirty person lol, it just seems to stain from the oil on my hands maybe? I’ve never had this problem with a mouse before! other than this, I love it!
Been using it a few days now and I’m impressed with how well it works so far, how silent it is, and how nice it feels under my hand. It hasn’t stopped working just to tick me off, I don’t always have to wake it up again, and there’s an on/off button underneath to save batteries.
Got this to go with my laptop and it’s perfect. No issues at all and the color is so cute! I love it. And it was the best price when I hunted. I highly recommended! Quality is not lost with this company.
4.5/5
It’s very small, I’m a woman and even for me it’s on the small side, so if you’re a person with big, burly hands, this might be a bit uncomfortable to use.
It’s also very light, it almost feels cheaply made but doesn’t look cheaply made, still I’m fairly sure if I drop it even once, it’ll break something. That said, the scroll wheel has a nice feel to it and is responsive, the multiple dpi settings are fine, the clicking is subdued, almost imperceptible to the ear, but you feel the click with your fingertips. The laser is one of those old school red lasers, so the mouse works on most flat surfaces, though a little wobbly on fabrics or other things. The colour is lovely and was the primary reason I picked it over other brands.
It requires one AA battery that wasn’t included.
Of note, and I don’t know why, but when I plugged the receiver dongle to the back of my PC, the mouse wouldn’t work. I had to connect the dongle to the front of my PC in direct line of sight with the mouse for it to work. Again, not sure if it was just the blocked LoS or something wrong with that specific USB slot on my PC, but just something I noticed.
UPDATE: Have now dropped it twice, once from a fairly high table onto the hardwood floor, and both times it held up, needed to press the edge back together the first time, but it snapped nicely into place and still works fine.
Just received my mouse and it works perfectly. It is super reactive and is comfortable to use. The setup was super easy – just plug in the USB and it’s ready to go. Def recommend!
I use this mouse for general internet surfing. It’s comfortable and does the job. The dpi adjustment is nice and apparently has a sleep mode since there is no on/off switch. The claim that the battery life lasts 18 months is ridiculous to make since it depends how much you use the mouse on a daily basis. All in all I would recommend this inexpensive but reliable mouse.
This is my second purchase of this mouse. I bought this for my son to use for school, because he kept using mine. Works great and is a perfect size.
I love playing League of Legends. Unfortunately, I struggle to find a good mouse to use. I tried a gaming mouse, Razer Basilisk, but it was way too big for my hands. I had Logitech M330 for a year but it stopped being responsive, so I decided to shop around.
This mouse feels a lot smoother, it doesn’t have a rubber texture around it. It doesn’t have a deep thumb gap that makes my thumb hurt after long use. Just looking at it, it seems to be the same size as Logitech M330. However, it feels a lot smaller. I think it’s because it’s not as tall. It’s much more comfortable.
It’s my first day using it but I love it so far. Works great with League. I have no trouble last hitting the minions. Though I’m not sure how long it will last since it’s only $10.
I took a star off because the mouse doesn’t have an off switch? I know it says automatic turn off in description but I don’t know. I rather have the switch. I’ll update this later though. Also, 2 out of the 3 DPI settings just feel clunky and unusable, even for just browsing or checking email.
TL;DR great mouse for tiny hands, pretty colors, doesn’t sabotage last hitting minions.
UPDATE: took a star off before because the mouse doesn’t have a traditional off switch. I’m giving it back because even if you don’t touch the mouse for a few minutes but the computer is on, the mouse turns itself off. I like that a lot actually.
I’m a big fan of AmazonBasics travel wireless mice for every day use. They get the job done, are inexpensive, and work. I probably own a half dozen or more of them, but they suffer from one fatal flaw. As they wear out and the wheel gets smoother and smoother from repeated use, they basically stop working. Your finger just slides across, not pulling the wheel, and then what’s even the point? Why Amazon doesn’t include a textured wheel surface is beyond me. I was needing to replace one of mine and I decided to see if I could find a cheap replacement with an actual textured wheel, so that shouldn’t be a problem. This one seemed to have decent reviews, so I gave it a shot.
For day to day use, it’s great, I have zero complaints. I don’t game with it, so I can’t tell you anything about that. It’s roughly the same size as the AmazonBasics travel mouse, which even though I have big hands, I have a small computing space, so this is preferable and not a problem for me, ergonomically.
This is what it is, a cheap mouse. It works, but it definitely has a cheap/light feel and that’s the reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. A little more weight would feel nicer, it is definitely lighter than the AmazonBasics one. But all in all, I have no problems using it. For the price you can hardly go wrong. I will definitely buy another the next time I need to replace a “smooth wheel”.
Tecknet Omni are some of my favorite portable mouses. I have used various models for about a decade with my laptops. The petite size on this Omni small is ergonomic to the hand and compact enough to travel with. The bluetooth USB connector has a home inside the bottom of mouse, just slide open the bottom. That way you do not lose the connector USB when traveling. I never have a delay or glitch in using the mouse with the bluetooth connector. The guide wheel glides smooth, unlike every Apple mouse that the navigation wheel stops working or only works in one direction. This Teknet has fun and funky colors to choose from, so you never confuse it with someone else mouse. Tecknet products are always reliable and economically feasible.
I love this mouse! I am used to Logitech wireless stuff and wasn’t sure if this would be compatible, or if the quality would be acceptable. Well, the plastic does seem a little cheap, but not bad. And you have to use the receiver specific to the mouse. But as long as it lasts a while I like it better than my Logitech mice. Possibly a matter of personal preference, but it has a power button on top, as others have mentioned. It goes to sleep by itself, and when you need it again you just press the little button on top. So much easier and battery conserving than the Logitechs. I also love the way it scrolls. Call me old fashioned, but I like a scroll wheel with precise action rather than one that goes flying down the page. Windows 10 (love it or hate it) allows me to set up the mouse so that it has a definite clicking feeling and I was able to choose two lines of content per click. Perfect! No more scrolling up and down and up and down trying to get the damn page to be where I want. (Irritating!) If you want a smooth scroll you can just click down on the scroll wheel and it will slide up and down until you click it again, which for me is immediately. And one more thing I’ve noticed in the couple weeks I have had it so far; it seems like there is less lag time so that the computer responds and does what I want more quickly than before. The only thing I miss, actually I didn’t have it on my Logitech mice either, is the ability to move horizontally across a page that is wider than the screen. I think it might actually do that, looking at other reviews, but I guess I haven’t found a page wide enough to test it. As long as it lasts a decent amount of time, I’m sold.
The short version: This is a really great mouse for the price you’ll pay. Makes me wonder how other companies can get away with charging so much.
The longer version: I’m pretty happy with this thing. It’s become my daily driver, and that’s saying something since I program for a living and use my mouse *a lot*. It’s incredibly comfortable and glides smoothly on my F30.R mousepad. I love the shape and the slightly rubberized texture. The different DPI settings give you a pretty wide range to select from. I find that the middle is about right, though admittedly I have tweaked it using SteerMouse. (On Mac.) Having only one battery means that it’s a very light mouse. (Which is probably only really important to people who suffer from RSI in their wrists.)
But, it’s not quite a 5 star product. (If I had nothing to compare it to, it would be.) Here’s the minor deficiencies that I have found. The scroll wheel doesn’t have left/right tilt. But I knew this going in, so that’s ok. The finish is *good* but it’s not as refined as a more expensive brand. You can feel this in the build quality as well – it’s clearly slightly cheaper materials. The connection isn’t always great. At a distance of about 3 feet, mine suffers from skips. Then again, my Bluetooth devices do, as well, since this is a fairly “noisy” area, signal speaking. I’ve rectified this by buying a USB extension cord and placing the receiver right near my mouse mat. But, that’s it. Other than those couple niggles, I think this is a fine mouse.
In short, I can easily recommend this to anyone looking for a wireless mouse, given it’s limitations. Perhaps it’s not quite as refined as a Logi, and it isn’t as feature-rich as a Razer, but for what it is, it really is fantastic.
To put this review into context, I use this mouse as a media controller to watch movies in bed because I’m too lazy to get up and walk to my computer. So I’m not using it heavily for work. I’m also not using it on an even surface, like a desk or mousepad.
But my standard for mice are $50+ gaming mice.
In terms of ergonomics, it is pretty good. It is wide enough that I can grip it comfortably with only my fingers.
The clicks are a tad stiff, but nothing to be turned off by unless you are using this heavily for click-intensive applications. If you click a lot, be it for work or gaming, I would recommend investing in a much better mouse anyways.
The scroll wheel is tight and responsive.
Considering that its a wireless mouse, there is very minimal loss in movement. I’ve never had the mouse not function when I expect it to.
The sensor does not track with pinpoint accuracy like a gaming mouse would, but it shouldn’t be expected to.
When not in use, it goes to sleep and is only reactivated with clicking.
Overall, its a great mouse for my usage. A mouse like this would not typically be a “daily driver”, or the mouse someone uses primarily, but I think it would do fine as one anyways.
This is a wonderful mouse for a wonderful price. I use this on my lap top when I’m at home or at university to eliminate extra wires crowding tightly spaced surfaces. It’s light without feeling like junk and the buttons have a nice snap to them. The side buttons are perfectly placed and the overall shape of the mouse is very comfortable.
It has a power button to you don’t have to worry about draining batteries while not in use and lights up the scroll wheel when you first power it on so you know its on. Scroll wheel functions wonderfully and DOES serve as a mouse 3 button for quick scrolling. The mouse itself is very responsive and have had no stuttering on my pointer.
Was also extremely user friendly on installation – pop the wireless usb dongle out of the built in holder of the mouse, slide it into the port and boom you are ready to go. No driver updates (at least for me) or pop up or anything. Headache free.
Overall a great product and will be using the mouse for a long time.
