I bought these paints on a recommendation from a friend , for painting my Warhammer models.
Like most paints I added a little water to my palette and thinned the paint down , much like
I have done with Ci***el paints I have used in the past. Then apply 2 coats over a primer.
Works well with the 3 different coloured primers I’ve used and giver a great coverage
Giving the paint a real depth of colour.
With the 6 paints just a few steps from each other on a colour wheel , I was able to pick 3 that worked well together for base coat and two highlight colours
Army painter have really got their act together with the fanatic range, it’s a must have for miniature figure painters, great coverage and pigmentation, I love these and would fully recommend any of the fanatic range
The older AP paints were poor, but thankfully the new fanatic range has fixed most of the issues.
Highlights
– smooth, creamy consistency
– colours tend to be opaque, especially at the darker end of the Triads
– Triads make it easy to select a shade, midtone and highlight
– the colours are heavily pigmented, so plenty of saturated colours to use
– lots of colours to choose from
– thins well for glazing, without seperating on the wet pallette
Things to note
– if airbrushing you’ll want the AP thinner + flow improver, you can use water or other thinners with trial and error but I found the AP one made that process easier.
Franchement cette nouvelle game army painter est de haute qualit !
Elle couvre bien, avoir les dgrads sur les bouteilles est juste super pour un dbutant.
J’utilise de la citadel et je vais petit a petit changer de marque.
J’espre que Amazon vendra des pots a l’unit dans pas longtemps.
