The car is well-built and easy for little hands to push around. The stacking feature helps with fine motor skills development. However, the toy may be a bit simple for older toddlers who might quickly outgrow it. Well, it’s a charming and engaging toy that’s ideal for younger children.

My three year old nephew loves trains, so this toy is perfect for him. He plays with it non-stop and it seems very well-made too, so I’m hoping it will last a while. Recommended.

This is a nice colourful chunky plastic Bruno train which is perfect for babies/young toddlers just starting out playing with trains. It has a trailer attachment and two items which can be stacked on it. There are several other trains available in this category and if you get more than one you can join them up to make longer trains and swap the stacking toys between them. My one year old loves playing with them.

This toy has become an absolute favorite for my toddler. The stacking cargo feature not only entertains but also aids in developing fine motor skills. It’s built to last, handling the rough and tumble of toddler play with ease. The vibrant colors and familiar Thomas & Friends theme captivate my child’s attention, making playtime more enjoyable. It’s also a great way to introduce little ones to the world of trains and imaginative play.

I managed to get a few of these Thomas & Friends on Vine and my two little ones have loved playing with them.

After unpacking them and seeing what each set consisted of, we found that the trains and stacking elements could be used between the other sets! What a bonus. We had a lot of fun seeing how long a train we could create and how we could stack the toys.

The toys are good quality and have already withstood some punishment with no visible damage. They’re light and chunky enough to be easily handled by even the smallest of hands. This, together with the bright colours make them an attractive toy for children of all ages.

My boys have already spent a large amount of time playing with these and they don’t seem to be running out of steam any time soon so a big thumbs up from them (and me too).

This is a brake car and trailer with cargo in the My first Thomas train set series.
It is just as colourful and robustly made as it looks in the photos on thee listing.
The brake car is normally the one at the back of the train so this is not a stand alone purchase.
However if you have or are buying one (or more) of the trains already it is brilliant!
These are push along toys that can be connected together to make longer more interesting trains.
They are quite small, perfect for little hands and would make great props for bedtime stories
We have a grandson who these will be perfect for especially as we know he has the complete Thomas the tank engine book series in a single book that his dad is looking forward to reading to him.
A longer train with this addition will help a small child with their hand eye coordination and fine motor skills.
These are so reasonably priced, considering they are an endorsed product you might want to buy several!
I would happily recommend this pocket money priced toy!

    Happy to help!

The push-along design is easy for little hands to maneuver, and the stacking cargo adds a fun, interactive element. It’s sturdy and well-made, able to withstand rough play. It helps in developing motor skills and creativity. A great addition to any toddler’s toy collection.

Very nice Thomas set for my toddler. Good size pieces for him to play with and learn his fine motor skills with the blocks. They kind of rest on top of each other, so not too difficult for little hands to try themselves. The train and carriage hook on to each other. Very nice little playset.

This is a bit smaller than I was expecting for the price and the plastic is also a little thinner than I was expecting for a baby toy. This is good in one respect as it makes them light for little hands to pick up and move, but also makes it feel a little cheap and flimsy. The wheels also don’t feel the most secure so although my 5 month old is enjoying picking it up I can see why this is 18 months, as I’m not confident the parts would withstand being chewed on.
It is a cute toy though and easy to push around and stack the bricks on the back. Each train and trailer can be connected to more in the range so you could build a nice little collection that can all be used together.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute and collectible

My children all loved watching Thomas although I have to admit this character was a new one to me! Bruno is one I’ve not seen before but my niece absolutely loved opening the box and seeing him!

You get the character of Thomas, his little trailer (which clips onto him) and then two items which stack onto the trailer.

The toy isn’t very big, I was expecting bigger as it says from 18 months plus and so you expect a larger toy and for the price it seems pretty expensive for the size of it. Saying that, though, it is a recognised character, it is made from a robust plastic and is good quality.

My niece likes stacking the items on the back and playing with them, and pushing the train along. This can also be part of a bigger set with other characters as you can then link them together and make a longer ‘train’.

This toy was slightly smaller than I anticipated, but my young son has had lots of fun with it. The train and car are quite chunky, perfect for smaller hands. You’re able to pull this along, which gives an effect of a moving train. My son really loved it, and now I aim to collect the whole set, which will make it a more enjoyable experience.

If you’re looking for a toy that will amuse, delight and occupy little ones, then you just know that Thomas and Friends will always come up trumps. His friend Bruno the Brake Car comes in the familiar primary colours, chunky enough to take a battering but small enough for tiny hands to grasp. The cargo car can be stacked with the two shape blocks which wobble convincingly along when pushed behind the engine, which has a rather bemused smile on its face. It’s delightful, it’s charming and a credit to Thomas.
