My two year old nephew is a huge Thomas the Tank fan. So we knew he would love playing with this cute Percy set when he comes round. Excellent quality. Feels very strong and durable and excellent value for money. Perfect as a stocking filler or toy for a young fan. Would recommend.

This is the perfect small gift for little Thomas fans, I got it for my two year old and it’s the perfect size for her hands and she’s been having lots of fun driving it around. There are two small blocks on the back that can be stacked, and it has the capacity to link up with other trains from the range. Overall very good and feels solid and well made.

My little girl loves Thomas and friends cartoon and she has already owned another variant of the same series, so she was super excited when I gave her this train toy. She loves playing with the two trains of same series together as both of them can be connected to make a form a longer train. This is now one of her favourite toys and she even brought them to bed with her. This toy is well made and very sturdy, looks exactly like the one from the cartoon. Highly recommended for Thomas and Friends fans.

This is a nice colourful chunky plastic Percy train which is perfect for babies/young toddlers just starting out playing with trains. It has a trailer attachment and two items which can be stacked on it. There are several other trains available in this category and if you get more than one you can join them up to make longer trains and swap the stacking toys between them. My one year old loves playing with them.

My First Percy Push-Along Train from the Thomas & Friends Store is well made from quality materials and appears robust. There are no sharp corners or edges or small loose parts. Our grandson, who is almost 18 months old, loves it. He has enjoyed experimenting with connecting the engine and cargo car and stacking the cargo pieces. He also seems to taken with the brightly coloured parts and attempts to say the ones he recognises.

I was tempted to purchase some track, but it is not clear from the Thomas & Friends Store web page if available track sets are compatible with this toy. I have decided to wait until our grandson is a little older and get him a motorised set.

The My First Percy Push-Along Train set comes nicely packaged and would make a nice gift for a toddler.

My only observation is that the engine and cargo car were attached to the packaging using hard plastic sprue. It was necessary to use a set of snips to cut the sprue, scissors weren’t up to the job. Unfortunately, this left the sprue with sharp edges and I was worried that they might cause injury. The only way I could see to remove it was to unscrew the bases. Having done this, I discovered that there was a simple way of removing it without taking them apart. Unfortunately, explaining this is in text would be difficult and longwinded, which is probably why the seller didn’t bother!

Overall, My First Percy Push-Along Train from the Thomas & Friends Store is a nice product. At current price of 9.99, it represents good value for money.

    Would Recommend.

This little train came well packed and looks very nice. The train I chose is number 6 and was accompanied by a small cargo with 2 different shapes. My son loves playing with trains and he liked this one a lot. The train has beautiful colors, it doesnt have sharp corners, it is lightweight and if you want you can buy the whole collection of My First Percy to form a big railway. It is great toy and those children who watch they’re show will like it even more. The price seems reasonable to me.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute kids toy

I managed to get a few of these Thomas & Friends on Vine and my two little ones have loved playing with them.

After unpacking them and seeing what each set consisted of, we found that the trains and stacking elements could be used between the other sets! What a bonus. We had a lot of fun seeing how long a train we could create and how we could stack the toys.

The toys are good quality and have already withstood some punishment with no visible damage. They’re light and chunky enough to be easily handled by even the smallest of hands. This, together with the bright colours make them an attractive toy for children of all ages.

My boys have already spent a large amount of time playing with these and they don’t seem to be running out of steam any time soon so a big thumbs up from them (and me too).

This is a small my first Percy the train toy complete with a trailer and load.
It comes on a colourfully printed retail hanging card and would make a good inexpensive small gift item.
There are several other members of Thomas the tank engines friends available with trailers and different cargoes in the range.
It is small and light, perfectly scaled for a small child’s hand to pick up and push along.
It is delightfully designed and the whole set is in primary colours.
When the child is a little older they can load the trailer and join the two together and push along, the load juggles and moves so they will need to master pushing it without losing the load.
This will help develop hand eye coordination as well as fine motor skills in a fun way.
Best of all it introduces the child to the Thomas the tank engine family, this would also make an excellent prop for making bed time stories even more fun and memorable!
This is a toy rated for younger children and is as safe as a toy of this size can possibly be.
Considering it’s brand and heritage it is very reasonably priced, so much so it is an easy decision to add a few more pieces of the collection to it, or you can suggest the other trains as gift items your child would like to collect if someone doesn’t know what to buy them for a birthday or Christmas!

    Happy to help!

It’s currently priced at 9.99, which I find very affordable.

Ordered the Thomas & Friends Toddler Toy My First Percy Push-Along Train for 9.99 for my son, and it’s been a hit. This little train is designed for kids aged 18+ months and has all the charm of Percy from Thomas & Friends. The toy is chunky and easy for small hands to grip, making it perfect for toddlers.

The set includes Percy the engine, a cargo car, and two pieces of cargo that can be stacked on the car. My son loves pushing it around and watching the cargo wobble as the train moves. It’s a simple but engaging feature that keeps him entertained. The stacking element also adds a bit of problem-solving fun, which is great for his development.

One thing I noticed is that the toy is quite small. Percy can fit in the palm of my hand, which was a bit surprising. However, its compact size makes it easy to pack up and take along when we’re on the go. The build quality seems decent — it’s sturdy enough to withstand some rough play without breaking easily.

While it’s a great little toy for the price, I do wish it was a bit bigger and that the cargo pieces stayed on more securely. They tend to fall off if the train gets a bit too wobbly, which can be a bit frustrating for my son. But overall, it’s a fun and durable toy that he enjoys playing with.

    Pros:
    – Easy for small hands to grip
    – Fun stacking and wobbling action
    – Sturdy and well-made
    – Compact and portable

    Cons:
    – Smaller than expected
    – Cargo pieces can fall off easily

This is a lovely toy for toddlers who will recognise this much-loved character and will enjoy playing with it. It also can be joined up to other characters from this set too as you can clip the carriages together. The front carriage and the back carriage clip in quite easily, and then the little items on the back carriage stack on top of each other. The train can be pushed back and forth, the wheels are nice and smooth so it’s easy for little fingers to do. It is good quality. My only criticism is the size. I was expecting it to be bigger. It doesn’t look like a lot for the money you pay.
