Just got a laptop with limited charging ports — only one USB-A and one USB-C. But have a lot of devices to hook up to it that still use USB-A, so this is a desperately needed accessory. It works great on the laptop and communicates as well as charging, which is exactly what I wanted.
We just upgraded our iPhones to the new 15s and now our chords do not work in most of our plugs as they are USB connections. There’s an enables us to use the new cords without having to buy the new plugs.
It also works to be able to use them in the vehicle that doesn’t have a USB-C plug
Semble de trs bonne qualit, bonne finition, un peu lourd, pas de jeu quand on le branche. Il prend peu de place et laisse donc de la place pour les prises ct. Sur un chargeur puissant il a permis le mode de charge rapide 30w. Trs bon rapport qualit prix.
Mein PC hat eine USB-A-Buchse mit USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Brutto 10 GBit), mein Notebook aber nur Gen 1 (5 GBit). Mit diesem Adapter kann ich meine SSD jetzt auch an den USB-C-Anschluss des Notebooks mit Gen 2 anschlieen und volle 10 GBit erzielen.
Ein Test mit der SSD war nahe am theoretischen Maximum (Netto 1 GByte = 8 GBit), daher gebe ich diesem Adapter volle 5 Sterne.
Tja leider ist die Umstellung auf eine flchendeckende USB-C Buchse noch nicht vollstndig erfolgt, so hat man neue Gerte die keinen alten USB Anschluss mehr haben, oder alte Gerte die nur ber den alten USB Anschluss angeschlossen werden knnen.
Adapter mssen also her.

Possiedo tantissimi adattatori usb-c ma trovarne in grado di supportare i 10Gbps di trasferimento dati difficile; per questo motivo quando ho visto questa coppia di adattatori da usb-a a usb-c non ho esitato ad ordinarli.
Sono costruiti molto bene e la parte esterna fatta totalmente in alluminio, ma la cosa davvero interessante che sono molto stretti, tanto da permetterne di usarne due affiancati anche sui MacBook che notoriamente hanno gli ingressi usb-c molto vicini. Tra le mie foto ne troverete una in cui sono inseriti entrambi in nel mio Macbook Air M1.
Per quanto riguarda la velocit posso confermare che effettivamente supportano i 10Gbps e quindi sono l’idea per collegare hard disk / SSD esterni che hanno ancora il cavo usb-a.
In conclusione questo un prodotto che merita ampiamente le 5 stelle, anche perch costa davvero pochissimo rispetto a quel che offre. Promosso con lode.
Les deux adaptateurs ont de belles finitions.
Ils sont petits et simples. L’embout USB C tient parfaitement dans un port USB C.
La clef USB que j’ai branch dans le port USB A tient parfaitement dans l’emplacement USB A.
Aucun soucis de dtection et de fonctionnement. C’est valid.
These are great USB-A to USB-C adapters made of zinc alloy material. When connecting my older USB-A charge cables to the USB-C adapters, it’s a solid connection with no slack or wiggling. I have ordered a lot of USB-C Super Fast new generation GaN Chargers and they are all USB-C’s. I have a USB-A to a 90% turn USB-C cable that fits my Samsung phone with a tactical case and this adapter works perfectly.
For the price of these 2 USB adapters when comparing it to the big box stores, this is a great deal.
What I love most about this is that you can fit both of them side by side on the macbooks. I have another set of adapters and the housing is too thick to allow you to place both on the macbook at the same time. These adapters work well to allow you to use USB A based items on your macbook.
These are fairly decent USB-A/C (F/M) OTG adapters that are appear to be well-constructed without visible defects and they work as expected without issues (for now). They support OTG and are rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 10 Gbps for data transfer as well as 3A (60W/20V) for quick/fast charging. PD is NOT supported since USB-A lacks the pins/wires required for PD to function.
They are reasonably compact (as far as USB-A/C adapters are concerned) although they’re far from the smallest; nonetheless, they should work just fine for most people without issues. They have a zinc alloy (claimed) shell which I do appreciate although that’s somewhat common nowadays and not necessary something to write home about either.
Physical build
They seem fairly well-constructed with a zinc alloy shell without visible defects (e.g. loose metal shell after several removal/unplug) in comparison to most others with similar design and style. They are reasonably compact and should fit just about anywhere; however, they are ever-so slightly wider/thicker than a few others so they may or may not work for 2 USB-C ports stacked vertically onto one another. Similar to most others, these do NOT have any LED indicator (for power and/or data transfer) which is a bit disappointing to say the least.
Data sync/transfer
They support data sync/transfer along with OTG support, and they are rated at USB 3.2 Gen 2×1 10 Gbps which is great. It goes without saying that they are significantly faster than those rated for 5 Gbps (i.e. USB 3.0) and that makes ’em suitable for external M.2 NVMe enclosures or the alike (i.e. not being bottlenecked by 5 Gbps adapters), at least those rated for 10 Gbps anyway.
I have no issues with them connecting to various USB flash drives and external disks, SSDs, or M.2 NVMe enclosures from various mobile devices as well as computers/laptops. Note that your mobile device MUST support OTG for this to work (most devices do nowadays but you’d never know until you check). I was able to get 1065.98 MB/s (8.52784 Gbps) for read and 1002.97 MB/s (8.02376 Gbps) for write (pic 7) with a M.2 NVMe enclosure (rated for 10 Gbps) so that’s not too bad at all.
Charging
They do NOT support PD but they do support (or rather, retain) all existing quick charging (QC) protocols (such as Samsung AFC, Huawei FC/SCP, and of course Qualcomm QC 2.0/3.0) up to 3A (pic 6, 60W/20V); however, PD is not supported because USB-A lacks the necessary pins/wires for it.
Value
All things considered, these are fairly decent USB-A/C (F/M) OTG adapters capable of 10 Gbps data sync/transfer, and they do support and retain all existing quick charging protocols up to a maximum of 3A/60W (no support for PD though). They are somewhat reasonably priced at $10 (for a 2-pack) for what they provide and their overall build quality, usability, versatility, and performance.
