Very neat bit of kit! The buttons on each of the four sides helps you manage which sets of plugs are on and not, and the USB ports charge more efficiently than through a standard plug, in my experience. Recommended, especially for PC users.

If you are looking to connect lots of lower powered devices then an extension like this might be your ideal solution with 12 mains sockets and 6 USB power ports.

The tower has 3 sockets on each of the 4 faces with a power switch for each bank of 3. The USB port are mounted on the base, with 3 type A and 3 type C. The USB ports in total can supply 3.8amps at 5v. So no fast charging here. The AC sockets seem to work fine and because of the design there are no clashes between sockets when oversized adapters and plugs are used.

A word of caution. 12 AC sockets is a lot. But you need to remember that you are still limited to 13amps and 3250w. If you are using the USB ports then you can shave another 25w off. So I strongly advise that you calculate the power draw of all your connected devices, and it’s why I advise that this is best suited to lower power draw devices.

A useful and relatively compact tower extension that makes a good use of space. Just be careful what you plug in as the temptation is to utilise all the available sockets.

This is an extension unit that will work greatly for anyone with multiple devices jammed in a single corner of one room (Who doesn’t?).

12 Standard 3-Pin outputs divided into 4 zones, each zone has a separate switch which works extremely well if you’re using it to power multiple systems.

There’s enough room for all outlets to be used without obstructing the adjacent outlet(s), the overall load should not exceed the rated load however.

The USB outputs are extremely useful too, they are sufficient for most devices, although the Type C output ones aren’t PD/High speed charges, but with 12 available 3-Pin outlets, it’s easy to plug a dedicated high-speed charger when needed.

Overall I’m impressed with the quality and design of this, also priced under 20 at the time of reviewing, providing excellent value for money, would definitely recommend.

Good lead, you get plug sockets on the sides and at the top you can switch them on or off, as having 12 items plugged in at the same time, I haven’t done and don’t intend to, seems a bit too much to me.
Like the USB addition on the bottom.
This is a good space saving tower, it has a decent length of lead from the plug. Good item but I haven’t fully used it and don’t intend to, 3 or 4 items for me is enough.

I absolutely love this due to the design it has. I used to have a tall extension at the end of my desk and had various things plugged into it, I think it could take 10 power sockets so it was 5 on each side. But it didn’t have any USB connectors and it was a bit unwieldy.

With this it’s perfect, it has a nice long cable has 12 power outlets and crucially it has USB outlets as well. With my old one I have plugs with USB coming off them, with this it’s directly into the power socket so saves another power socket getting used. I love the fact you can isolate the strip with the push button at the top.

This has saved me so much desk real estate and it’s a stand-up desk that I use it on and the cable is well long enough to accommodate, perfect for my needs and at this price point I might get another one.

I come from the US where we have multiple power outlets on almost every wall in the house, bathroom included. It has taken me a lot of time getting used to limited outlets here in the UK; I find myself constantly unplugging something to plug something else in. That is not really possible when it comes to the computer or entertainment systems.

This extension block works great, it helps bring the outlet to me where I need it most, as well as giving me a lot more outlets where I need them. This is perfect for the home office, we can plug the computer, printer, and everything else into this and still have spare outlets, and areas to charge devices via the USB slots. It is also perfect for entertainment areas where you need an outlet for the tv, cable box, playstation, sound systems, et albut only have 1 outlet in the wall.

The cable on this tower is very thick, and a decent length as well, so it easily reaches those areas where there aren’t any outlets. It powers everything without any issues at all, even when every outlet in the block is used. This power block provides 12 additional outlets, and 6 USB (3 of the c-style) ports.

I am very happy with the quality and performance of this extension block. It works great, and gives me all the extra power outlets that I needed.

I am really and truly impressed with this small tower extension lead. This tower based extension lead has 12 x Power Ports (UK Power Plug types) with the additional awesome feature built into the tower with 3 x USB-A charge ports AND 3 x USB-C Charge Ports.

This extension lead has literally replaced 3 x extension plugs at my home based work desk as well as the overall amount of standalone USB charges that I had plugged inhto my old extension plugs and or office area! Yes, I know that 3 extension plugs seems like allot but I have a very busy work desk and area that I needed the plugs to support 3 x monitors, laptop, docking station, printer/scanner as well as all of my USB chargers to keep my tablets/phones charged!

By having this 12 port tower extension lead I have recovered allot of desk space in the corners of my desk. The extension has an excellent long 1.8 meter cable to get to a proper plug. What I also really like is there are 4 overall plug surfaces to plug into (aka corners) that with each “surface” can have 3 x power plugs connected into them and each “surface” can be powered on/off with a switch to ensure devices can be powered off at the source “surface” vs unplugging them. Each plug area has it’s own independent switch and light to show visibly if it powered on or off. Overall extension can provide a total output of 3250W/13A.

The extra nice thing is thie extension can charge USB devices. It comes with 3 x USB-A type ports for older USB cables that can and does support 5V/3A max per port and 3 x USB-C ports for the newer USB-C cables that are becoming more common. mart USB Charging: The extension lead with the USB slots includes 3 USB-C ports which supports 5V/2.4A max per port.

If you are looking for a very well made extension lead that can house allot of power hungry devices then I can easily and highly recommend this one!

Very useful item and it’s working very well sat behind my PC providing a tidy solution to plugging in a number of lower power items (external drives, printers, hubs etc.). The USB ports are also welcome for my phones and charging things like my ear buds, various head lams that I keep in this area.

It is useful to have some sockets together like this, my concern is one of overkill, or rather putting too many high demand appliances on this unit, 12 sockets is a LOT and that pans out at about 1 Amp per socket. The unit is rated at 13 Amps so anything you plug in with a heater say is going to take up a very big chunk of that, that would also apply to certain fans or other things that draw a larger number of amps. The number of sockets might act as a temptation to simply plug too much in.

So for low current devices, great, as a general purpose USB power node for charging etc. great. It does keep things nice and tidy and together.

Just be very aware of how much you are plugging into those 12 outlets.

As another reviewer has already written an excellent overview of power draw and limits (I’d recommend you also go read his review), I will just say that I’m a simple girl with simple needs. I originally had a 4-way extension next to my TV unit and was getting tired of unplugging plugs to swap around devices. I’d already bought another “standing/vertical” extension, which I think is much tidier looking than your standard extension strip, so this tower extension is a nice upgrade for me. I’d like to eventually replace all my extension leads with these “vertical” type models.

Having the individual switches for each set of 3 outlets is a wonderful design. I’ve made sure to plug in my seldom used devices into one side and only power that on as and when I need it. As of now I have my LG OLED 55inch TV plugged and powered, and my PS5 and soundbar all on one side. My dualsense charging dock and mobile back-up phone charger in another (which gets switched on periodically) and a USB powered lamp and kindle charging cable in the usb outputs. Which leaves me plenty of sockets for when my nieces descend upon me and demand a power outlet to charge their crappy iPhones. I just make sure to switch off any 3-bank sockets not currently being used so my power draw is never getting too high. Great! But, yeah, like that other guys says – don’t get plugging in too many high power-draw utilities into it.

Oh, and I really like having overload protection for peace of mind. An appreciated addition.

I’m currently using this Tower Extension Lead from TOOMKE as a charging station for batteries, smart watches, mobile phones, tablets and anything else that might need charged. I’m also powering a digital photo frame from one of the USB-C ports (using a C-A adapter) and everything is working really well.

For me having everything charging in the one place means the rest of the house is a bit tidier, with less cables coming out of sockets, and you’re well catered here with regards to what can be charged and/or plugged into this tower.

In addition to the 6 front USB ports you have 12 power sockets, with each bank of 3 having its own power supply that can be turned off.

This is great for me as I have my camera battery chargers all on the one bank and turned off unless I need to charge any of them. At the same time, I have another bank that powers my router, printer and TV so that bank is always switched on.

Unfortunately, none of the front USB charging ports are ‘Fast Charge’ compatible so you’ll need to use your mobile phone charger with this tower if you want Fast Charge, which is what I do.

The unit itself is surprisingly compact considering all the ports and sockets it offers and I liked how it was a vertical bank rather than a flat horizontal one.

It was also very stable and I had no problem plugging anything into any of the sockets, despite some weird shapes and sizes of plugs.

There’s nothing really to dislike about this extension tower and even the power cable is long enough for whatever my needs will be.

I plan on changing the unit in time and replacing it with one that has a door to hide all the inevitable cables, however this is definitely something my family are going to be using daily for all their charging needs.
