TOZO W1 Wireless Charger, 10W Qi-Certified Fast Charging Pad
TOZO W1 Wireless Charger, 10W Qi-Certified Fast Charging Pad with Aviation Aluminum Computer Numerical Control Technology Compatible with iPhone 14 13 12 Series, Samsung Galaxy Series (NO AC Adapter)
I have had problems with charging my iPhone since I dropped it with a charging cable connected. Suspect internal pins bent.
This disc charger enables me to charge without issue
This is super slim. It’s built very well and looks amazing. The gloss finish is also not slippery for devices, so stay on charge even with some movement.
Dim lights indicate charge and complete.
Overall, a very good and useful device. Ideal for travelling.
Quite a simple device that just straight up works perfectly. No issues or quirks.
Kudos to Tozo for not adding to world plastic waste and not providing a crappy charger in the box. Every single household has an abundance of chargers now, so glad to not get another that would just go to waste.
Pros:
– Very slick design and shiny.
– Incredibly thin!
– USB-C
– Great grippy pads underneath
– Nice led indicators to show when charging
Cons:
– LEDs do not turn off when nothing is charging.
First wireless charger I’ve used. Charges about 6% in 10 minutes. It needs the phone the be centered to work properly and you MUST buy the USB C mains charger, ideally 20w, or charging will be much slower. Works the same speed for iPhone and Samsung phones when using the 20w mains adapte
I use this to charge my Tozo 10 headphones box and it’s really handy to just put the box on the disc without having to play around putting plugs in. I’ve decided my next phone will have wireless charging because using this is so much easier than trying to get plugged in in the middle of the night without the lights on.
The charger works well, but is so thin that the cable connector was too thick, and it stopped my phone sitting flush on the charger. I had to file down one side of the connector. Only one side needed reducing as the rubber feet on the bottom left enough room for the plug.
The photos don’t show it too well, as the charger surface is shiny.
Absolutely delighted – good charge rate and very smart looking. Would have been a 5* had it included a mains socket – even would have paid a bit more to have had the socket with it.
I’m currently charging my headphones off this. the rubber top gives it a nice grip and premium feeling.charging is obviously a lot slower than a wired connection, but I’ve found that having a single place on my desk to put my headphones every day (rather than on any cable in my house) has meant that i lose my headphones A LOT less.
Great item but have only given 3 stars because for me it has a major problem. My intended use is overnight phone charging but I am finding that the on/off light is just too bright. When not charging it casts a bright beam of light across the bedroom which I find really annoying.
Further to my original review and almost 12 months of trouble free daily usage I am happy to increase to 5 stars. In fact my main criticism was the bright light given out at night. In fact I have found that this if placed correctly has been an asset. My bedside cabinet is lit up and assists no end in finding things without having to put on main light. I was wrong and happy to concede my point.
Honestly the best looking wireless charger by far, also love the fact it has such diversity in colour instead of just black or white.
It’s so thin and so sleek looking, and the LED lights don’t take take up the whole circle like other wireless chargers usually do, so it’s all very subtle. It charges completely fine and does exactly what it’s supposed to.
The only thing I wish were different were the LED lights functionality. Once the charger is plugged in, it always displays the green light which I find strange as to why the green light must always be on. It turns blue when it is charging something. If I could change the functionality of the LED it would be; LED should be turned off when it isn’t charging, it should turn blue if it is charging something, it should flash blue on and off if there is some type of error (e.g. device not placed completely in middle), and then it should turn green when device is fully charged.
Those changes would make this a perfect wireless charger for me, but even so it’s still really great looking and works fine.
Just unpacked this and was very surprised how thin it is but yet how it feels very solid and well made.
In the box you get a USB to usb-c cable and the wireless charger itself, so you’ll need to have an existing usb wall socket, but it charges my iPhone xr and wifes iphone 11 with the standard apple wall charger.
The top of the charger is a glass like gloss material so it’s subject to getting finger marks, but on the plus, it’s easy to keep clean, as sometimes rubberised ones gather dust and are hard to keep clean. It’s quite a small size, about the size of a coaster so you’ll need to just check your phone is aligned, however was very easy to do this with mine. The light constantly illuminates green when plugged in, and then switches to blue when charging a device. It’s very small so shouldn’t be a problem when having next to the bed at night and doesn’t produce any light to keep you awake at all, just enough to see it’s charging. The pad is suprisingly thin, and appears even thinner by being chamfered at the edges with little rubber sponge feet that keep it in place without sliding about, but despite its thin nature it feels really solid.
The cable could be a little short if you were using it on a desk far from a plug, but for a nightstand it’s perfect and doesn’t get tangled.
Overall very pleased.
