I’ve just taken my bag out on its first run and it performed as it should. I can’t compare to other bags because this is my first. I bought this bag to hold my phone, keys and water for me and my dog and with the added storage space at the back I can put her dog bowl in with some treats. I’m a slim 6ft and it fits my fine it did jump about abit when I was running but I think that’s coz I was wearing a polyester top which is slippy. overall I think this is good quality and value for money

This lightweight running vest can hold a number of items securely. Its variety of pockets and fastenings means it not only fits a range of sizes but also holds different shaped objects.

This means wearing this during activities like running and cycling I can feel confident that things like my phone and keys are in closed pockets. One side has a zipped pocket and the other side has an elasticated top that can be tightened as well as a small additional open pocket.

At the back is a quite medium sized ‘back pack’ type part divided into two inside. This is zipped and also has elastic laced throughout so you can tighten it if needed to secure contents.

There are fluorescent parts that are unobtrusive but will show when lights are shone on them. These will help to be seen on early morning winter runs or after dark.

This has adjustable side straps on the edges and some clipped front fastenings that can be pulled tight. Fairly good if you’re in the market for something like this.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of pockets

This is the first time I’ve used a running vest but I keep seeing them on social media. It’s such a niche problem dealing with the things I need to carry on a run. I’m not sure I would wear this a lot except on longer runs. It does feel a bit bulky but I probably just need to get used to wearing something like this. There are a good range of different types of pockets, which makes it super handy to get the right size/shape and access for items. There are different adjustable straps on the sides and front which really helps if the weight distribution isn’t even depending on what you’re carrying. I think this will be useful for taking the essentials on short hikes too. It also feels pretty durable and I can’t see any problems with seams etc although I suppose time will tell once it gets moved about with running.

I do like these super-light bags. They’ve replaced taking a small rucksack places for me. They don’t hold tons of stuff, but it I can get ample into them for a run or a couple-of-hours hike, with none of the weight of a standard backpack.

I got the black, and it’s very smart looking; nice and light, but has everything you need, including a lot of storage. Even if I’m not taking water on a run, I prefer using one of these to an arm band for my phone now; they’re just so much more comfortable, and I like being able to stuff a cagoule in the back, just in case.

It’s really super-compact, and I do like that it all sits on an air-mesh backing, so anywhere you don’t have an actual bag is getting airflow, which will be appreciated as the weather gets warmer. It can *just* fit my 2l water bag (plus cagoule), and the front pockets hold all my bits and pieces like phone, keys, money, etc. If it was raining lightly this would be fine, but if it was raining enough that I put my waterproof cagoule on, I’d actually wear the cagoule over this backpack, as it’s splashproof but not rainproof.

The only thing I would say is that it is slightly shorter than others I have by about 4″, which doesn’t matter at all at the back, but makes the chest straps feel a little high. I tend not to use them unless I’m running, but I would say that the photo of the man from the back to show the back isn’t right proportionally. The photo of the woman in the blue t-shirt is more accurate; this is a little shorter than a standard hydration vest.

But it’s still a great, lightweight choice. I could see it being a great little backpack choice for a kid, as well.
    A nice little hydration backpack.

This backpack certainly is lightweight. It offers decent storage with the strap pockets in addition to the main storage in the backpack. I like that it has some high viz inserts and also some reflective stripes. It is reasonably comfortable with wide shoulder straps even though they are not padded.

I think it is probably best suited to people that are not too tall as I’m over 6ft and it feels quite high up my back and the fastenings on the front are above my tummy which just feels odd.

At the time of review it is listed as 18.99 which I think is a bit rich, but it is on offer with 40% off making it under 12 and for that, I think it is a reasonable bag for its designed purpose and for the price
