I tested this indoors, indoors by a window and outside (out the skylight of the caravan).

As others have stated, it works a lot better outdoors than it does if you’ve got in your home in the middle of a room. It still works in that environment but it will struggle a little and you won’t get all the usual channels. If you use this indoors near a window then the performance will improve a lot and if you plan to use this in a caravan, place it outside, such as out via the skylight if you can, and you’ll notice a significant improvement in performance.

For the price and the size of this aerial, I am quite impressed. It’s small and easy to use so getting it where you need it to get the best permanence won’t be an issue. I’d happily recommend it.
