UK to Australia Plug Adapter, Australian China Travel
UK to Australia Plug Adapter, Australian China Travel Adapter PD 35W USB C Fast Charge with 1 UK Socket and 4 USB Ports, AU Adaptor Plug from UK for Australia New Zealand China Fiji Argentina(Type I)
Good UK to Australia plug adaptor. It’s versatile to be used by devices that have a USB 2.0, Type-C USB, and a UK plug power and charging cable. It’s decent, quite bulky in size, but easily portable to fit into various sized bags, and it’s good quality, too.
Not seen one of these before. Covers all bases with both the most popular sizes of USB socket (A and C) plus the UK 3-pin plug. The ability to fast charge is a big plus. Very handy adaptor which will be put to good use visiting daughter in Australia. Slightly worried about the weight as Oz sockets are not the world’s sturdiest but time will tell. Well made piece of kit which looks like it will last.
I travel to Australia and New Zealand a lot and have been looking for an adapter that carries numerous devices. Until now, I’ve had a multiple country one that has 2 USB A sockets and I’ve had standard adapters that I try to plug my UK 3 device plugs into but it ends up being a really long projection from the wall plug. The charging capabilities are diminished compared to when I plug in in the UK.
This adapter is great. I’ve tried it whilst in the UK because I have lots of things that I’ve brought over from Aus/Nz and have conversion plugs to make them work. I tried this with the conversion plug that is attached to my NZ heated throw (so plugs into UK socket but allows an Aus/Nz plug to be used).
This adapter is great. Even when all slots are occupied it doesn’t ‘go slow’ like a lot of similar multi slot plugs. Also, I’m using it through an adapter so think it will be even better when plugged directly into the wall.
First impressions are this is a good quality plug adapter. Lightweight and seems no bigger than it needs to be. Really useful having the four USB A & C ports, as they are probably more important these days than the three pin plug socket. I’d really appreciate it though if it said on the adapter where the adapter is for – in this case UK to Australia (Type I). It would help avoid accidentally packing the wrong one when I travel abroad. I’ll label it myself, but why is it not already printed on the adapter? Seems an obvious thing to do.
Anyway, I won’t be able to try it out in practice just yet, but I’ll update my review if I have any problems with it.
The nature of this product means my review for now is limited, given that I ordered this for a trip to China (and whether the product works well or not will only be apparent once in China which will happen after my review window has passed!).
What I can say is this adapter is of very robust construction, with quality plastic. Plugs fit perfectly into the USBa and USBc sockets on this, without wobble, nor trouble inserting them. The product arrives in a snug and strong cardboard box and I imagine this obvious care in the packaging for safe transit by the seller speaks to the quality of the product itself.
Arrived the day after it was ordered, not any bigger than a normal plug adapter.
In the past, when travelling to NZ we have had to take a 4 socket extension chord with a NZ plug on it, plus adapters for 2 phones and 2 tablets. This gets round that in one neat package and still leaves a UK style socket free.
I have tested all the sockets against the devices we want to charge and it works fine, so more space and weight saved in our luggage.
Nice adapter with four USB slots (2 USB-A, 2 USB-C) as well as the UK plug socket. I’ll be using it on my next stay in China (back to where it came from!), as this is the configuration of the plugs there.
