The box suggests the cleaning device can also be used on such items as watches, shavers, dentures (!) and glasses (spectacles). One senses straws being clutched at a bit here. Personally I find the best way to clean my own spectacles is with a little bit of breath and a cloth I got for nothing from Boots the Chemist (and everything else they do these days). Anyway, does it work on jewelry? Yes it does, so it fulfils it’s primary function. How many times you can be bothered to get it out of the box to buff up Aunt Lil’s old service medals is a question only you can answer…

What a super little machine this is. I have lots of jewellery that has sat in my bedroom drawer for ages, because it had lost a lot of it’s shine. I took it out and put some pieces in the cleaning machine. I was amazed at the results, and the dirt and debris that came out of the item was an eye opener. I had been wearing this jewellery unaware that it harboured that amount of dirt. Just make sure that you check what type of stones are in the piece, as not all stones can be cleaned, and some are more porous than others, and can be damaged by cleaning with water. I have cleaned all sorts of items in this little beauty, from my flexy denture to small vases. If its waterproof and small enough to fit in the cleaner, it gets a beautiful makeover. I’ve been really impressed with this item, and therefore it’s 5* from me folks.

Added some hot water but not boiling from the kettle, a few drops of washing up liquid, I placed it on 180s and my rings came out soo shiny I also done my husband ring, his necklace and 6 earrings, they all came out so shiney! Love the cloth you get with it too as I used it to dry and buff them dry. Very great product and worth the money

This ultrasonic cleaner machine is super easy to set up, ready to clean items in no time! Whether it’s the many silver pieces of jewellery our family owns or even our retainers, what used to be tedious (and time consuming) taking our old toothbrush heads and scrubbing them into little crevices (which is hard to get to anyways) is no longer necessary. As instructed, just add some water and turn them on and the technology does the magic. As noted by others – it isn’t overwhelmingly big in size so keep that in mind.
Overall, even at this price point, I think it’s worth a buy – especially if you have jewellery that you like to keep shiny often and that you don’t have to bring them to your family shop to get them cleaned for a fee. Nice item to have at home, and makes a great gift set as well.

This ultrasonic cleaner is perfect for my 3D prints. I use an SLA printer which involves handling resin. The resin is quite stubborn and hard to clean off and to ensure a good quality 3D print, all uncured resin must be cleaned off. I use this to do the job and it’s perfect. I fill a mason jar with isopropyl alcohol and put that in the ultrasonic cleaner which is filled with water. That way the waves still travel into the jar without having to pour isopropyl alcohol into the reservoir. While running, the machine is a little noisy but it doesn’t need to run that long. I use 5-minute bursts and that does the trick. Whether you need to clean jewellery or 3D prints, I highly recommend this cleaner. For the price, and its simplicity it’s a great product.

A few decades ago, I had an ultrasonic cleaner that was more trouble than it was worth. I was in two minds about ordering this, but I am oh so glad that I did!
Firstly, a word about the shape. The rectangular shape is such a good idea, and makes it simple to clean prescription and sun glasses, watches (waterproof ONLY of course), small ornaments and bud vases.
BUT the main reason I ordered this was for my jewellery. I wear my wedding and engagement rings 24/7, so they obviously pick up soap residue, bits of food and natural oils and flakes from the skin. This makes even the finest jewellery look tired. A mere 5 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner, and they are like brand new again! And don’t get me started about how much grot came out of the hinges and lens channels of my glasses! I was ashamed to think that I’d been in polite society with all that muck on my face!
If you want your jewellery to attract admiring glances, just buy one!

I ordered this ultrasonic cleaner to mainly clean my jewellery which I would otherwise have to take to a shop to be properly cleaned. It has really impressed me since its arrival, even items I thought were relatively clean have had hidden dirt that was shaken free by this clever gadget.
You get a lead, with a three pin (Uk) plug, the cleaner, a cleaning/polishing cloth, and a user manual. The machine itself is only tiny, and is definitely worth the cupboard space that it takes up, the lead and plug can also be stored inside it once it’s dry.
Operating it couldn’t be easier, you put the item you need cleaning in, cover it with water up to the line, then press start, and watch it count down. I have been using the preset 180 seconds, but you can alter the time too if you feel that you need to.
The first thing I tried in it was my glasses, which I didn’t even think were dirty, but I wanted to try it out anyway. After it had counted down and switched off I lifted the lid, I was horrified to see all the bits of debris floating around the tank, it had all come out of my glasses, I will be using it far more regularly now. It definitely does a fantastic job, extremely quickly, it can clean far more than just jewellery, and I’m more than happy to recommend it.

This is such an excellent ultrasonic jewellery cleaner, really well put together, it has 4 timer settings, uses 500ml of water to fill it and is so easy to use. I wear mainly silver jewellery that is cleaned regularly, but there are always faffy little awkward bits that don’t get as clean, so I had a blitz when this jewellery cleaner arrived, cleaning a lot of my regularly worn jewellery and I was amazed at how clean and sparkly it all was, even my old bruised and battered favourite bracelet came out looking like new. I also cleaned my everyday watch, and that came out spotless too. You just have to make sure that any watch you want cleaning is waterproof and that any jewellery hasn’t got porous or soft stones in it like Opals, Emeralds, Turquoise etc. You can easily find out if not sure on internet searches, because none of us want to clean something that will get damaged, especially jewellery that has been handed down, I have a lovely Opal ring that was my Grandmothers that can’t go in the cleaner. I also cleaned my make up brushes and it did a great job on them too. It’s a really excellent bit of kit that does a fantastic job, it will be used a lot.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFreestanding ultrasonic cleaning Bath, fill full of water place in you waterproof objects and turn on.
It cleans reasonably well jewellery we have no waterproof watch to test that.
It’s not too noisy but does need to be on a firm surface.
