The hose connector provided a perfect joint between my outside tap, which had a male threaded 15mm connector, and my hosepipe. I have used the hosepipe many times and there were no leaks when I tried it. 5 stars
These are really solid brass hose connectors far better than the plastic ones and should last longer.
What you get are 3 connectors with adapters so they will fit an 1/2″ or 3/4″ outlet. They both have fitted washers as can be seen in the attached photographs. Both have a knurled finish on the outside to make gripping easier when screwing and unscrewing.
I got these as we have a campervan and they are used when we are hooked up on a site. We have gone through quite a few connectors in the past as we have left them connected to the tap and forgot them, this means at the next site we have had to purchase another one in the site shop which is always more expensive than normal. This being a pack of 3 we will always have a spare.
The price (6.99 at time if review) I think is good value for money as that makes them just over 2 a piece which is cheaper that some of the plastic ones. All in all very happy with these.

For 7 you get 3 solid brass tap connectors that will work with the majority of hose systems (including hozelock). That is less money than the equivalent weak, break easy plastic ones that hozelock will sell you.

Considering what these currently cost and you receive three they are quite a good deal, they are well made and will certainly last a lot longer than those orange plastic ones you see used everywhere but go brittle after a year in direct sunlight.
When brand new they are a bright gold colour but after a few weeks after our fabulous British weather has tarnished them they will blend in to the original brass tap colour.

It is great to get three connectors, although I will not be using these for the garden – they were selected for use in our motorhome for filling up the fresh water tank. There are two sizes and they fit together smoothly without snagging and form a perfect seal due to the inclusion of good size rubber washers. The price is excellent too: normally one can pay the same price for only two adapters, so in effect this is buy two get another spare free 😉
This review is for a pack of 3 tap to hose adapters made from brass, branded Uni-Fine.
Each includes a screw in size adjuster if your tap has a different thread size, though for standard UK outdoor taps, this should not be needed.
They simply screw onto the garden tap, with to without the adapter as required and should never need to be removed. The tap still functions as a normal tap, and a quick-release hose can be fitted and removed as required.
In use, it performed exactly as expected – no impact to flow, and no leaks when I attached the hose.
Most hoses do come with a plastic version of this, but I’ve found the plastic type tend to go brittle in the sun, and either break, or leak.
These Uni-Fine connectors are the Rolls-Royce of hose fittings. I swapped out my old plastic connector – which decided to split at the most inconvenient moment – for these sturdy brass beauties.

These are well made out of solid brass and are adaptable for 1/2″ and 3/4″ taps. Unscrewing the 1/2″ adapter enabled me to connect my Gardena hose coupling quickly to my 3/4″ outlet. The connectors are well finished although there are a few small burrs on the threads of the 1/2″ adapters but that was only a minor issue and I won’t be using them anyway. They should be stronger and more reliable than plastic versions.
Do ensure that that they will fit your tap, they should fit most outside taps but kitchen taps in the UK are not usually threaded at the outlet.
In use, neither the adapters or the hose coupling leaked and there was no loss of pressure. They are however currently slightly more expensive than similar ones for sale on Amazon hence the 4 star rating.
