USB C Lightning to USB Camera Adapter with Charging Port [MFi Certified] USB C to USB OTG Adapter with USB+USB C Charging+3.5mm Headphone for iPhone 15/iphone/iPad to USB Flash Drive/Keyboard/Mouse
Now I can charge my phone and pretend I am Brian May. I like this curly cable as something a bit different. The coils make it feel like it’s quite sturdy and likely to last. Unfortunately my daughter thinks the same and has confiscated it.
Love the coiled cables very well made and strong (this does seem to come at a lack of flexibility) fit the iphone perfectly and plug in the other end into your car or usb charger.
Twin pack increases the value
The Gogerit Coiled Lightning Cable For Car is well made of durable materials and appear robust. The stretchable spiral cable is 30cm (12in) long when coiled and extends to approximately 90cm (36in). It recoils reliably, assuming the optimum length for the connection required. The coiled construction make it ideal for use in the car. It is also ideal to keep in your work bag, as it is less likely to become tangled or damaged. An integral clip allows ends to be clipped together for increased tidiness when not in use.
Connections between USB A and Lightning ports on devices feel very positive. Charging speeds are on par with other Lightning charging cables I have used previously. I have not used the cable for data sync so cannot comment on this aspect.
At current price of 9.99 for 2 cables, the Gogerit Coiled Lightning Cables For Car are competitively priced with comparable products.
Would recommend.
The Gogerit Coiled iPhone Lightning Cable is a marvel of modern design for the tech-savvy traveller who loathes the tangle and mess of conventional cables. Its elastic nature allows it to stretch from a compact 1 foot to an accommodating 2-3 feet, providing ample reach when necessary, while its coiled form ensures it snaps back into a neat and tidy package post-use. This elasticity not only makes it a space saver but a perfect companion for car journeys, where it performs its duty without contributing to the chaos. Coupled with a handy clip to secure the cable when not in use, Gogerit has crafted a solution that appeals to those who take pride in organisation and detest clutter.
Upon inspection, the Gogerit cable exudes a sense of quality that is often sought but not always found in non-OEM accessories. Charging efficiency seems on par with the genuine Apple cables, maintaining my iPhone’s battery just as effectively on my regular commutes. Convenience and quality don’t end there — these cables are surprisingly unobtrusive. Despite initial assumptions that they might be cumbersome, they retract with a disciplined tightness and can be stowed away effortlessly in the central console, liberating precious space. At five pounds apiece, or a tenner for a pair, these cables are undeniably good value for money. They perform admirably, stow away discreetly, and even include a thoughtful clip to maintain an enviable level of tidiness. For those who place a premium on neatness and functionality, the Gogerit Coiled iPhone Lightning Cable is a no-brainer addition to your tech arsenal.
What immediately sets this product apart is its thoughtful design. The coiled cable not only eliminates the clutter of excess wire but also provides flexibility and convenience. Whether I need a short reach for quick access to my device or a longer extension to accommodate passengers, the coiled design effortlessly adapts to my needs, ensuring a tidy and organized cabin space.
Moreover, the Apple MFi certification instills confidence in the cable’s compatibility and performance. I no longer have to worry about compatibility issues or unreliable charging speeds. Whether I’m using the latest iPhone model or an older generation iPad, the Gogerit cable delivers consistent and efficient charging without any hiccups.
Durability is another standout feature of this product. The reinforced connectors and sturdy construction ensure longevity, even in demanding automotive environments. I’ve experienced no fraying, tangling, or connectivity issues, despite frequent coiling and uncoiling over extended periods.
These are great cables for the car, they are coiled nicely so don’t take up too much space when not in use and have a good reach when extending, although I did find that if pulled to much they do seem to want to pull out of my aging USB socket in the car due to the tension.
Performance is good for charging and works with my CarPlay radio.
These are great iPhone charging cords. I like the coiled leads which keep everything tidy and are less likely to get tangled up. The charging end lights up and they are supported with a rubberised collar so the wires are less likely to break than ordinary leads.
For a pack of two these represent really good value for money.
2 pack, solid cable which has USB-A one end and lightning connector at the other. Perfect for use in the car, but I found also ideal for use in a train with power outlets in the seat backs and beside the table tops. Avoids the trailing cables that get in the way or caught underfoot.
As the description suggests maximum for about 3′ (1m) from the power outlet is best. Notes there’s also a little clip at the USB-A end to secure the other end for storage.
Nice product – recommended.
These coiled charging cables provide a simple and neat solution for dealing with traditional, loose and untidy iPhone cables.
The cables and connections are good quality and appear to be well made; both connections seat well in my iPhone devices and don’t wobble about.
I found that battery charging time is was reasonable and certainly better than my current charging cable, which is getting a little tired, so I was pleased about that. When there’s power to the cable (whether it’s connected to the phone or not) there’s a little blue light at the end of the connector. I liked this because it shows that the power is on and also makes it easier to locate the end of the cable in dark situations.
The coiled cable really does make a difference to keeping things neat and tidy, particularly in vehicles etc., where trailing cables can be irritating and potentially dangerous.
Two cables for under 10 at the time of testing is pretty good value, so assuming that these have a decent lifespan I’d be happy to give them a recommendation.
Currently using these in the car connected to the central console for charging the phones whilst in the car.
The previous cables have either suffered being caught while getting out of the ear or just get worn very quickly, but I really like how these cables are short whilst curled but are very useable for the passenger
A great idea and like these
I keep these in my van and use with an Iphone 14, the phone charges fine and being coiled cables they dont tangle and are not messy which is important in a vehicle.
A+ from me
This is a twin pack of colied lightning cables, which are ideal for use in the car. However I like this as a travel cable as it works in a standard USB port as a charging cable. The cable itself has good connections at both USB and lightning side. The cables are Mfi certified and my Ipgobnes recognised it as a charging cable immediately. It has a small blue light that illuminates when plugged in on the lightning side. The connections look extremely well made and the coonnections to the cable itself are very well done and I am sure they will be long lasting. The coiled cable has a nice thickness and a nice added touchit you can fix the two ends together through a connector on the cable
You can easily stretch the cable to a metre or so. The weight of the phone itself will keep the phone extender as long as the surface isnt slippy (or if fixed on a magsafe ring or in a phone holder). These are extremely handy, well made cables that work well and avoid coiled cables.
I have two cars – one with the power socket at the bottom of the dashboard in front of the gear stick, and the other with a power socket between the gear stick and the handbrake. In the former case, this coiled lead is absolutely perfect. It stows away neatly when not in use, yet has enough length when stretched to reach my windscreen-mounted phone. It’s so much neater than the long straight cable I used before and is not going to get trodden nor tangled up.
We have a double charger in the car, well one charger in the cigarette plug, which can charge two items at once, that sounds better, LOL, but we have white cables everywhere, trying to find the end when we need them, pulling them about and generally getting narked with them.
So why did I not get these years ago, no idea, but as soon as I saw them they were ordered, and are now a fixture in the car, and they work perfectly, well impressed, we can plug our phones in, and not have wires everywhere, if we need to pick the phone up, the cable will stretch without falling out, as on the previous cables.
The quality of the cables are good, you feel like you are getting a good quality item, with a clip to keep then tidy when not in use, they charge at the same rate as genuine apple cables, or so it seems, I seem to get the same percentage increase with these on a set journey as I did with the Apple ones, so I am happy.
Due to their size, we expected them to be a little “in the way”, but they are not, they curl back up quite tightly, and can be tucked away in the central box easily without taking too much space.
they are great value too, a five each, tenner for two, well worth the money, works very well, and packs away without taking up too much space.
We have one of those USB car charger devices that goes in the cigarette lighter socket and the cable usually resides wound around the gearstick when not in use. This is where the coiled cable is a good idea and has its own little retainer clip on one end to keep it tidy. I like the light on the plugs too so you know it’s drawing a charge to your device. These are nearly 5 each but they are well made and very useful.
A very nice idea and helps to reduce trailing wires in the car when plugging in my phone to use as a satnav. The cable charges my iPhone 13 perfectly and it slips in securely and doesn’t pull free when driving. It seems to be well made with appropriate strain relief so hopefully will last well. It could be a little more flexible though.
Pros
Reduces trailing cables
Good strain relief
Seems tough
Cons
Could be a little more flexible
I ordered these for use in the car as they looked like they would be better than having a long cable strewn around as is happening at the moment. For this purpose, they work perfectly. The coil does stretch quite a way but I try not to put it under strain if possible. It’s much neater in the car now for sure.
As for charging, they seem to perform as well as any other cables I have used. It looks as though they have been constructed well and the well made plugs appear to be nicely fitted to the cable. The plug shoulders are also slim enough to fit in my iPhone without having to remove the case which is a common problem I find with some cables I have ordered. They also have a small clip on the cable to attach the other end of the cable to, thus keeping the cable even tidier – and I like tidiness!
Overasll I am very happy with these cables and two for under a tenner is pretty good value too I reckon. Recommended if you like to keep things neat like me.
I have to confess I really prefer coiled charging cables, they really tidy up charging. The cables look great, and don’t need to be continually coiled up to be place away. Plus when in-situ they look great / professional & tidy.
These also have a nice integrated clip so storage is nice and neat.
I did give them a stretch and found them to be reasonably accurate, plus the recoil was also good going back to it’s uncoiled shape.
The plugs at each end are good quality, firm, and strong. Plus the cables are nice and thick, with a good quality casing.
All in all, these are presently retailing on Amazon for 9.99 delivered which is great value for two coiled quality cable / connector charging leads.
