This pipe adapter has been a great addition to my Starlink setup. It’s incredibly sturdy and well-made, providing a secure and stable mount for my dish, even in strong winds. Installation was a breeze, and I love the flexibility to position it on various poles or structures. It’s held up perfectly in all kinds of weather.
This adapter allows to install Starlink Gen 3 on a pipe mount.
Installation is quite easy and straightforward, all you have to do is to push the adapter into the indent at the back of the Starlink unit, and fasten the bolt on the pipe.
The bolt on the pipe mount allows for different diameters pipes to be installed, the diameter ranges between 2 and 5.5cm. As for me I felt that the bolt is too close to the edge of the pipe, increasing the risk of the pipe sliding away.
I also really liked the thoughtfulness of the design, specifically the slots for running through the cables.
This is a very good quality pipe adapter that allows the generation 3 star link internet kit satellite to stay properly on the roof where I have installed it.
It has a good design that allows to place all the elements inside and also provides good protection from water allowing as well to have a precise position.
The installation process is quite easy just requiring me to slide in the adapter into the pole and tighten the screws and since I have installed it, it provides the necessary support that I needed.
Mounting my kit was a straightforward process with this adapter. The installation was hassle-free, and the stability it provides is impressive. The build quality is robust, ensuring that the setup remains secure even in adverse weather conditions. This adapter fits well with a range of pole diameters, adding flexibility to where the dish can be placed. This is a high-end adapter that is very much suited to its intended purpose and is also much better than the lesser plastic alternatives. It comes with an Alen key tool to mount it, as well as clear instructions. Highly recommended.
I do use this portable rather than on the vehicle itself using a heavy base and a 4′ pole. I have experienced no flex in moderate winds and it performs exactly as described.
There are a few different types of bolts included so you have a range of options for mounting.
For what you get, it seems quite expensive but it is fit for purpose and I have no complaints.

Good solid bit of kit, easily fitted to our camper roof rack. Just dropped it a star, as there is quite a bit of play between the internal flange and dish leg, which you don’t get on the Starlink stand. Not a problem yet, but not been out when windy.

While it holds Starlink well, the attachment system to the pole could use some improvement. Despite this minor flaw, it’s a reliable solution for stable connectivity.
Very well made, excellent finish, and basically essential for a strong mounting point for the Starlink.
Depending on where you intend to place it, this is a ready-to-fit mount, straight out of the box.
If however, you intend to locate it on a chrome or stainless pole which you don’t want to mark or damage, you WILL need some sort of padding/cushioning to prevent marking the surface.
Not sure why they didn’t include a couple of strips in the box, as it does save some faffing around trying to find something suitable. There is tape of course, but that just creates more work cleaning it up afterwards if-and-when the mount is removed.
It’s still a bit expensive despite the quality IMO, but as mentioned already it’s an essential bit of kit if you want to do the job properly without fudging it.
On a quality/value-for-money basis… 4-Stars.
Using for Starlink Gen 2. Once installed on the ladder (that took a bit of time) setup and takedown are very easy. The unit is sturdy even in the toughest of wind in UK
This Starlink RV mount is really well made and looks to be strong and sturdy. It can be mounted on ladders or poles. I was impressed with it’s anti-corrosive and anti rust materials which means it will be long lasting outside. This Starlink mounting kit has integrated hot cast aluminum clamps ensuring it holds tight and does not slip and it is made to withstand heavy winds and hd the Starlink dish securely in place. This will be suitable for both the Starlink Standard Actuated and Starlink High-Performance models. I think it is a very good buy for the price.
