I put my car keys in these and then put the pouch into a dry bag when swimming. I have no idea what the pouches are like directly in wate

These large bags will accommodate even large phones. The closure strip at the top is quite bulky and stiff; once I worked out how to open and close the clips, it is very easy to use, and closes very securely, much better than a zip lock type closure. They seem to be completely watertight.
The touch screen works through the bag (except the fingerprint home button), but my small phone (SE) moves around inside the bag making it harder to use. You need to make sure you’ve put the phone in the right way round, or part of the screen/camera will be covered. The lanyard has a plastic clip and a stiff, sturdy ribbon.
These bags are very suitable for walking in wet weather etc., as you can easily use your phone to navigate or take photos. I might want something softer, smaller and more comfortable to wear on the beach/at the pool, but they do keep your phone dry.

6.59 for a twin pack of waterproof phone pouches is an excellent price in my opinion and definitely value for money. We use these when going to the beach or when abroad around the pool, beach or on boat trips. They give peace of mind knowing your phone is not going to be damaged from any water accidents and also allow you to take photos underwater safely with your phone. I don’t think I’ve seen any packs this cheap and they are far cheaper than buying abroad, especially in the water parks where they can be an absolute rip off!
