12 in 1 Accessories Set for Playstation Portal, Hard Carrying Case for PS Portal with Clear Skin Case for PS5 Portal, 2 Screen Protector with 4 Thumb Grip, Light Gray
After spending a few weeks with this accessory set, I’ve noticed a significant enhancement in my gaming setup. The hard carrying case is robust enough to give me peace of mind during travel, effectively protecting everything inside from the usual knocks and bumps. I appreciate the additional storage for essentials like cables and headphones, which keeps things tidy. The clear skin case is a winner too; it fits without adding bulk and maintains the device’s original look, which I prefer. The screen protectors are straightforward to apply and don’t interfere with visibility, maintaining the crispness of the display. The thumb grips provided are a small but meaningful touch, improving grip and control during gameplay, making long sessions more comfortable.
Having used this comprehensive accessory set extensively, I’ve come to appreciate the thoughtful design and overall convenience it offers. The carrying case is not only tough but also provides ample space for additional gaming paraphernalia, which helps keep everything organized. The clear case and screen protectors maintain the aesthetic appeal of my device while protecting it from everyday wear and tear. The thumb grips have significantly improved my control and comfort during gameplay.
Everything you need in one package to protect your new Playstation Portal
Well made carry case that has a nice smooth fabric touch to it.
Screen protectors that I had no issue installing.
Thumb stick protector’s to keep your original analogue sticks looking good and a nice protective clear case.
I’m still currently using my silicone protector case for now but as it’s black I cannot see the led lights on the controller parts of the portal, but with the included clear one you can still see them so I will be swapping this out eventually.
The case has plenty of room in it and is made pretty well to protect your Portal from harm.
Currently 29.99 I’d say is a fair price for what you get and say don’t hesitate to get one to keep your new console protected
This set is a bit of a mixed bag. The case is sturdy and protects the Portal well, and the extra storage is handy. The screen protectors and thumb grips are a nice touch. However, the clear skin case feels a bit cheap and doesn’t add much value. Overall, it’s a decent set for the price.
Great item which is a perfect fit for the console and a must have accessory if you have or are planning on getting the device. The shell case offers a good additional protection to the unit itself in the event of scratches and dropping, but at the same time being clear you don’t really notice that it’s on either. The kit then comes with a tempered glass protector for the screen (which was the thing that made me order this the most) and then you get the outer hard shell case which fit the unit perfectly and also gives extra room for accessories and games. Good value for money, fits perfectly and should last the lifetime of the item.
The first thing that impressed me was the photo showing the certificates of compliance with ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and SGS (a multi national company who certify finished products). So many sellers say they have them, so very few sellers prove it. However, it would be even better if it wasn’t blurred and could be read.
Under the photos of the certificates is a graph proving the 300% upgraded protection. I think understand Auarte’s premise for the claim. Each element of the item adds another 100% protection. But it doesn’t show what it was upgraded from!
This is a well made, well thought out case. It does offer very good protection for your PS Portal. The material covering is strong and does resist scratching. However, the pictures show this being tested out with a utility knife which is more likely to cut than scratch. The covering won’t stand up to that treatment!
As all round protection for a PS Portal this cover and case is excellent, offering protection both when stored in the case and when being used. Would be recommend it? Without a doubt. Just be wary of some of the claims in the listing.
This fits the portal great and is a solid piece of kit – as in the case is great, strong and well made. The extras that come with it are also fine – no issues – and are just what I needed for a Portal that needs a bit of care since I broke the other case. The only thing I would add is that there is a very (very) strong odour when you open the packaging and the case – so I have had to leave it in the fresh air for some time and then the garage until it dissipates. Not sure what the smell is but it’s quite chemical like so I imagine it’s because it’s new and the plastic/material smells like that for a while.
Gadgets are expensive. Well, to most people they are, to kids they think they’re replaceable easily and we all know that’s not true. Launched around Christmas, the PlayStation Portal was a novel thing – essentially a controller with a screen that you can play your PS5 on without popping the telly on. However as they cost 200, you probably don’t want to buy a new one constantly, hence this.
You get a case to store it in, a clear shell to protect it from drops, 2 screen protectors and wipes and 4 silicon thumb covers. I’m not sold on the thumb covers.
Installing it isn’t difficult – it all fits and clips into place as such and while it makes the PSP a touch thicker, it gives it a buffer from being dropped. Screen protectors are something I use all the time on new tech and so, if you’ve had one before, you know what to expect. They’re the hardened glass variety as such, not the film type. As said, the thumb protectors are….. ignorable for me. They don’t seem to do much and these are……ugly to me. The case itself is solid enough – it’s not carbon fibre or anything exotic, but it feels like it would take a drop and ensures its all safe if transported. There’s also space for cables etc too.
It is basically everything you would probably want to protect your device in one purchase instead of several and it does it decently. I’m not going to throw my device about to test it that far, but I have no complaints as such.
Size of the screen ensures easy trouble free application and application apparatus provided do the job excellently. Well worth it. Good product protecting an expensive purchase. Well done! No bubbles!
