I have a BT hub 2 and ran the black extender discs. The issue with them is they share the same network details as the main hub. My equipment would not default to the main hub and things ike sky or internet speakers saw the disc as another network. I needed the discs for my front door and garage Ring floodlight cameras. This device worked a treat as I named it something else and just connected the two Ring devices only and everything else in the house connect to the hub directly, no more issues with Sky main box and mini boxes thinking they are on different networks. Also network speakers not connecting as it saw my phone was connected to a disc and the speaker on the main hub so therefore it assumed that they weren’t on the same shared network. This extender is so easy to install, which was good as the print on the instructions was tiny. Thanks for solving a two year problem
