This set of toss rings come with 24 hoops, 6 different colours with 4 sizes in each.
The colours are nice and bright, immediately capturing a young child’s attention. The rings and made of a sturdy plastic and are smooth, easy to carry and throw well.
The fact that there are 6 sets of colours makes it ideal for team games, sports days and is ideal for schools or childminders looking for something simple and basic that can entertain kids. The ad does state this isn’t suitable for under 5s but my kid is 4 and he’s been getting on with these just fine. I think as long as you supervise whilst they are being played with then it’s ok. It’s a great set of hoops and you can play a variety of different games with them and keep the kids entertained.
A set of 24 hoops
Various sizes and colours so perfect for lots of different games
We use them to throw bean bags into at different distances and one of our favourites is to try and jook them over a water bottle! We have great fun with these.
One has snapped and my daughter isn’t heavy duty with things. It did glue back together easily enough (this is the reason for 4 stars and not 5).
These rings are good quality and there are 6 different coloured rings in 4 sizes. These rings are great for a variety of outdoor games such as trying to throw them over a cone or just throw them the furthest. These are great to improve a child’s hand-eye coordination.
These are great for all sorts of outdoor or physical play. The lightweight rings come in various sizes and lots of different colours. They’re solid and don’t bend easily. My toddler loves playing with these rings inside. You could also take them to a pool for water play. Great for throwing beanbags into or over cones. Should last for many years to come.
Considering the price I wasn’t expecting these to be so good, they are solid weighty plastic rings not tubes and therefore are very likely too last a very long time. The pack contains a very nice selection 4 different sizes and 6 different colours. You can group them however you like devise your own ring toss games with multiple players such as the classic Boy v girl Yellow blue and green vs orange pink and red. or for 3 players yellow and orange, blue and green and finally red and pink. as a few suggestions.
Personally I like the fact that they are in 4 different sizes and therefore you can apply a handicap by giving the smaller hoops to the adults and the much larger ones to the younger players…
All you need this summer is a little imagination, a board, dowels and some paint – plus these hoops of cause.
You get 24 plastic hoops/rings in various colours and in 4 different sizes so 6 of each size. They are very lightweight but do not flex much when pressed inwards. They are smooth with no rough edges to hurt little hands. There is not much difference between the successive sizes, the biggest is just over 8″ diameter but the sizes are likely to be noticeable in throwing games. Even the largest is not big enough for a child to stand in, they are more designed for throwing games, either throwing them over cones, stones, etc or throwing things into them for target practice. They are a nice addition to summer play and light enough to take to the park or beach. They should last many years as they are not the sort of toy to break in play. A good buy.
Does anyone else like throwing things? Either way, these are a great idea. You can either use these to throw over small traffic cones or just use the bigger hoops as a target for the smaller hoops. They’re lovely bright colours, nice and sturdy, and plenty of different sizes to choose from so it’s a win win situation. I think they’re great for practising your aim at throwing stuff, or is it just me?
