I got this camera for my kids to capture our summer pool adventures, and it has quickly become a family favorite! With all the swimming we do, I wanted something durable that could handle a splash or two without needing a bulky case.
Experience with the Product: The waterproof feature is fantastic—my kids took it right into the pool and even under the water, capturing some great moments! The picture quality is impressive for a kids’ camera, and the filters let them get creative with their shots. My 6-year-old found it super easy to use, and it fits perfectly in little hands. Just remember to secure the charging port before diving in!
Conclusion: Overall, this underwater camera is a great investment for families who love aquatic fun. I highly recommend it for any young explorer!
A wonderful camera that takes photos underwater! It has a LED screen on the opposite side for easy viewing.
The Camera takes stunning photos from underwater. Pictures can be saved on the cameras internal memory or on a SD card.
Shoots video too.
Good buy.
Our extended family loves to go camping and spend time in and near rivers. The kids are always jumping into the water. This camera held up to the water and continued to work. The eight-year-old has another kid’s camera (the kind that prints easily on photo paper), and she had no trouble transitioning to this camera for water adventures, and teaching herself how to use it. I wasn’t expecting much from image quality, and obviously it’s not professional quality, but they are decent, sharp snaps.
We had it all summer and though we didn’t do any deep diving water activities, I’m so happy to have these during out trips to the beach and waterpark and don’t have to worry about getting my phone wet or broken. It takes short time to charge and battery lasts for days. The photo quality despite it being cheap is decent. I love that it’s rubber as well so I can let my kids use this without fear of getting broken. This camera makes our water activities one less thing to worry about and I would but this again if I have to. It comes with all that you need already, even fully charged as soon as you get it so you can use it right away.
Easy to use and compact enough to swim with. I was impressed how well the pictures came out. Transfer to iPad was simple and the memory card can hold a few thousand. Rather robust and genuinely waterproof. I added a float strap in case it got dropped in the sea.
This is a great water toy for kids. I don’t think anyone expects this to be a high quality camera. It takes photos that are just OK. The quality of the image is not print quality. But, for just playing in the pool or at the lake, it takes some decent photos. I did find that there is a delay setting between when you press the shutter and when it takes the photo. That made photos of fish interesting, as they don’t stay still. It did an OK job with scenery. But, that’s not really what kids are going to be photographing. Skin tones came out OK with portrait photographs. I am including some underwater pics of fish for examples, and one scenic shot. The pixellation is probably due to upsampling the image. I’ll adjust the settings to take smaller MP images. The waterproof aspect of the camera worked fine. It was waterproof, although I did not take it below 3 feet deep. It also floats! That is a nice feature because kids re always dropping things, so at least it won’t sink in the pool. It also comes with a neck strap that is wide and comfortable. Make sure the silicon plug is closed over the port and card slot before submersing it. I did find the menu structure a bit difficult. As long as you can teach the child how to use the shutter button, it should be OK. The other menu functions even stumped an adult. Downloading the images is as easy as plug and play on a computer. The USB cable for charging and downloading is included. I also love that this camera is rechargeable. There are never batteries to change out. Just plug it in and recharge it. It has an automatic shutoff feature to save battery power, and the time can be adjusted. You can also film video with this. It also comes with built-in photo filters so you can add digital effect to photos. And there are included games as well. Something to keep the kids entertained while on vacation. It has a self timer so you can take group photos and be in the photo. There is also a selfie mode where the camera faces the user, so you can make selfies. It’s overall a nice little entertaining item for the kids. I like it.
This camera could take pictures, take videos, play games and has an audio player. The sound is loud enough and clear but you have to copy files to the MP3 folder. I like that it comes with a dedicated cable, 32″ long, thick and strong. When connected to a PC the USB connection is readily recognized, very convenient.
Also the camera is already set to the highest quality, 1080P video and 26M picture. So you do not have to reset them. It does not have volume setting in the Setting of the menu. But the up and down arrow button could serve adjusting the volume. When playing audio, short press Up / Down will jump to the next song. Press and hold Up/Down will change the default volume 15 to lower / higher. All these are actually in the instruction menu, which is very clear and printed in detail.
The feature of water resistant (10 ft. below) is a good selling point. I like that when playing around the pool or at the beach it is still a bit safe.
I think this is a fun and educational toy, a nice gift for kids, recommended.
