This “sail” proved to be as good as they said. At first we struggled putting it up but once we found the right fixing points it was easy to take down and put up again. The size we chose gave plenty of shade for my grandchildren in the paddling pool. Excellent product, well made with ropes and fixings included.
I ordered the 4 x3 M sail and it arrived on time the sail and fittings appear to be of good quality although i have only put it up today and time will tell
I was given a shade sail which sadly was much too small for where I want shade. However, it has inspired me to make a larger one. A small shade sail can be simply tied to convenient projections but a large garden awning needs more care in the selection of its attachments. It needs strong fittings and this kit is the perfect solution.
The kit has the components needed for a square awning although mine is going to be triangular. There are four padeyes for fixing to firm surfaces. Long lengths of cordage are provided. Two to carabiners for two corners and two lengths to turnbuckles for the other two corners. There are even plugs and suitably long screws for fixing the pa4 pad eyes. Best of all, all the fittings are stainless steel.

It looks like it is strong enough to hold strong weather conditions like heavy rain and strong winds but will have to wait to see how is going to hold during the whole UK winter.
