I use this in my van as it has no air con unfortunately. It works well during the evening time when the temperature has cooled down but during the day in blazing heat, it just blows hot air when using the fan only mode. So not worth it in that situation.
Personally, I haven’t added water or ice cubes so can’t comment on whether that actually works or not.
What I like is the little handle because I can hang it in the corner of my van but of course when I’m driving then it’ll start swinging around so not ideal in that situation. The fan is rather quiet but if you use level 3 then it is a bit noisier but not by that much.
What I don’t like is the USB cable is plugged from the back and often times it anything is impeding the cable then it turns off.
Got the fan because of my fibromyalgia at night and I can’t control my temperature so it cools me down and I get a better sleep. Nice and compact and easy to use. Low noise and great power, value for money when you look around at prices for fans nowadays. Very happy quick delivery and driver was polite and friendly.

Wonderful to sit near this fan on a hot day. Lots of settings and clear instructions. Very good for the price. It’s not too noisy; just a low buzzing sound.
It’s a small unit with 3 speeds and 2 misting levels (this function can also be turned off). There’s a small tank which you can put water and ice into. I set mine up on my bedside table with as much ice as possible, and I slept through the night. The tank was empty by morning, but this didn’t bother me since I didn’t need the misting to continue in the morning as the temperature in my room had dropped.
I wish I had found this sooner – it’s a game-changer!
The one concern is that it uses filters and comes with 1 replacement set – I didn’t know this before purchase and I’m not sure how to replace these yet. I will have to do some research to see how easy these are to buy.
