I used this smily gel to clean my keyboard and it did a great job of picking up the dust and little hairs and things.
At first I took the keycaps off but I started getting bored of that and then just ‘smushed’ the gel into my keyboard – I was quite bold – and it seemd to do just as good a job as when I was labouriously removing each cap(pro tip, take a picture of your keyboard before you start so you know where they, especialy if you have lots of function keys).
The slime does pick a lot of the dust, doesn’t break/snap easily and it has quite a smell. It reminded me of being a kid and using it on my keyboard was quite nice, almost calming.
It doesn’t seem close to ‘spent’ or anything and apart from where you can see it is a bit dirtier it still has tons of life left in it.

This putty is great for cleaning little nooks and crannies in your car. You simply roll the slime over the surface and it picks up all the little bits of dust and dirt. It’s really easy and straightforward.
It does a good job of getting into amall spaces, however still sometimes does leave little bits behind and needs a few passes to really get it all, but it does much better than if you were using a small brush or hoover.
It does sometimes leave a little bit of residue behind if you rub it too aggressively, but this picks up with another pass over. It doesnt seem to get stuck to any of the fabrics within my car, including leather, however I would not attempt to try it on fabric as I’m certain it would stick.
It smells quite pleasant and I’ve used it a few times now without any issues or reduction in performance.
It says it lasts a few months after opening, so I’m not sure it is really cost effective, however it does work well so probably worth it for the ease of use and speed.
Overall, this putty works well at cleaning small grooves and areas on most surfaces. I’d recommend it.
This cleaning gel is very easy to use and works perfectly for cleaning keyboards and car interiors like air vent and cup holders. The gel feels excellent quality and is so easy to get into the small gaps between keyboard buttons and air vents. It also smells pleasantly and nice to use. The gel does get dirty over time and it should last quite a while depending on the amount of dirt it collects. It is priced at 8.99 at the time of review, and cheaper with a 10% voucher, which I think is reasonable considering the cleaning performance.

To use the gel you simply remove it from the tub and rub the gel over the area you want to clean. As it can be easily manipulated to fit into small spaces, it is perfect for cleaning awkward areas such as keyboards, car dashboards and vents.
The gel does a good job of picking up dust and small particles, leaving the surface looking clean.
As the gel is taking the dirt with it, it does become dull after time and will start to take on a dirty appearance. One option is to use a smaller section of gel at a time to clean, using this portion repeatedly until it is suitably dirty, before disposing and then selecting a new section of gel for cleaning.
The packaging recommends storing the container away from sunlight and high temperatures and to ensure that a tight seal is maintained on the jar when not in use.

Hi, its good stuff and works well for cleaning the likes of keyboards and hard to reach places, but it does get dirty and needs to replaced every 3 months or so, as you cant wash it, so got to way up the cost at this price , the only good thing is my kids enjoy playing with it while dusting their rooms
I’ve used similar gels before but they were always too small and viscose, this gel was far superior to anything else I’ve tried and extremely satisfying to use, it picks up so much dust/hair/debris etc.

The cleaning gel comes in a rather impressive heavy duty pot and you can tell how large the contents are straight away, opening it up is easy enough and grabbing the gel for the first time immediately impressed me, not easy to describe but the viscosity is just right, hardly runny and keeps shape well, but once pressed into recesses etc. it easily squishes into the shape you press it and it picks up pretty much everything, my cup holders have never looked so clean, it tackled most areas in my car and as shown in the product images it even reached into my air vents.
I then turned my attention to other uses, it worked a charm for cleaning up my 3D resin prints, various hard to clean spots in my house and even cleaned up my PS5 controller, it picks up so much dust and gunk.
I liked how you could easily rip off chunks for smaller areas and you can semi-shape it into mini fingers to get into very tight areas which made it even better.
I mentioned it was ‘satisfying’ and it really is, there’s a therapeutic effect as it feels great in your hand and even more satisfying as you squish it into hard to clean areas.
As for the downsides; firstly the gel leaves a slight residue on your hand which makes me wonder what residue it leaves on surfaces, though I tried it on my phone screen to see if it left anything behind, and I couldn’t detect anything, secondly the gel has a limited lifespan as the gunk it picks up remains in the ball of gel and soon looks quite grotty, they say on the tub “generally lasts for 3 months” which I guess is best case scenario, mine looked worse for wear after 5 days of heavy use. Also you cannot/must not wash it, which is a shame as I hoped that would increase the lifespan.
Overall Conclusion
As you consider this as a cleaning ‘consumable’ then it is a brilliant cleaning aid, very effective and a genuine pleasure to use. The large size makes all the difference and they nailed the viscosity to make this the best cleaning gel I’ve tried. For the money I think it turned out to be good value too.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this is the same as the slime gunk that kids play with.
No matter- It works really well for getting dust, dirt, crumbs etc out of keyboards and similar small gaps.
It is oddly satisfying to use .
It is pleasing that it is also supplied in a screw top tub (complete with a plastic insert like the kind you often find with face creams etc) which will help to keep it airtight and therefore should delay its decay.
My daughter decided we needed this (I had never heard of it before), so I thought we would give it a try. She wanted it for the car, but I have found a use for it round the house and have been having great fun cleaning which is not normally a favourite task. We have had out large TV for over 10 years and all the vents on the top and back however much you try to vacuum them, get coated in a layer of dust. Well, this little tactile ball of goo worked brilliantly to get in all the crevices and grab all the dirt. You just sort of have to roll it around, squashing it into all the gaps for it to get a good grip of the particles and it retains it all in the gel. It smells nice, feels cold to the touch and just does what it is supposed to do. It is not a miracle worker and if there is corners with thick much it would be best to use a brush or something, but if you use this regularly it will keep areas like this dust free. The only downside I can see is it it quites expensive and says this will only last about 3 months before going liquidly and having to be replaced and I don’t think that is very eco friendly.

I say this is fun to use as it’s so a novel way to pick up ducts and dirt from the crevices and more in out car. In some sections we have piano black surfaces, so this is great for picking up dust from there and popping back in the tub. It leaves not marks on our car, and has no bad smell, It cleans very well. As someone else pointed out, unsure what this is made off so I always clean my hands afterwards or use my alcohol gel in the car.
I love this stuff, it brings out my inner child! These cleaning gels are excellent for cleaning dust and general grot out of difficult-to-reach spaces, and not just in the car. I’ve been playing with this one and now have sparkling clean keyboards, phone, radio, camera and headphones – it’s particularly good for things like the sockets on phones. I first started using another brand, cyberclean, some years ago, and I really can’t see any difference between that and this blue ALIOBC Gel.
It says on the screw-top container that it will last for about three months. With the yellow one I’ve used before it gets discoloured and less elastic, more liquid as it wears out, so I anticipate this one will similarly discolour and change texture.
My one criticism (for which I’ve docked a star) is that the ingredients are not listed anywhere, so I don’t know what it is I’m handling. Some of these gel cleaners contain borax, for example, and I would really prefer to know. Other than that this is very effective to clean fiddly spaces, and fun to use. Recommended!
