My first impression when I opened the box was how small it was. This is a great advantage when mounted in the garden as visitors are not so conscious that they are being filmed. The clipon bracket also handy which makes it easy to remove and there’s adequate length in the usb lead to reach a nearby socket. I found the Bluetooth login particularly easy and fast. My garden is small so the wide angle view is good to get a larger viewing area. I use the SD card to view previous recordings and the ability to continuously record is handy when you want to see larger chunks of video. You get a lot of ‘bang for your buck’ with this camera. I immediately bought a second camera for my side entrance. You can narrow down the detection area and sensitivity and have the alerts restricted to person detection only or you can have all alerts without restriction. You can have infrared(B&W) at night or yo can have the built in light come on which will give you colour video. If the camera view extends to the neighbour’s garden you can blank out that area for their privacy to avoid any complaints.
Overall, it’s great value for money with 2k quality (see pic collage) and lots of personal adjustments to suit your needs.
I highly recommend this camera for home security. It has very good and clear camera quality. The app it comes with is very responsive and easy to use and navigate. I’ve placed it far away from my wifi router and it is still picking up signal which is very good. The camera is so slim lined and not bulky like other major brands on the market. I also receive notifications when motion is detected and it also records automatically.
I am extremely happy with this camera and it is an absolute must when it comes to home security.
Its 3 – 5 years since I bought 7 Wansview cameras for my house. And having recently bought a 2k pan / tilt camera I could see things have significantly moved on. The old cameras are all still working fine, but its time to update a couple. This 2k AOQEE 3MP works with my Wansview App and at less than 20 it’s half the price I paid 3 years ago for an SD camera. First thing I noticed is that it’s less than half the size of my last cameras, and doesn’t have an antenna. The power is now via a USB cable and a supplied USB plug. But it’s only 2m long, 3m would be better, so I’m using a 1m USB cable extender. Really easy to add to the Wansview App, with a constant beep aswell as flashing lights when in pairing mode, which is nice. Initial impressions – the picture quality is in a totally different league, and not just the 2k, the colour balance is perfect and the contrast so much better. The old cameras suffered from washout when facing into sun, this deals with it really well. I recently put an old camera in my garage at the end of my garden but it’s at the edge of wifi signal so it keeps dropping out. I’ve now swapped it for the Aoqee and it works great – no buffering even without an antenna, so it actually has a longer range. The supplied screws aren’t the best, but the biggest issue is when mounted the camera can only tilt sideways slightly without going at an angle. It can tilt up and down, just not much side to side. So it just means mounting it at a slight angle if you don’t want to view just straight ahead, and then it’s fine – just be aware before you mount it in brickwork.
I can’t compare it to other makes of camera, just my 3+ year old ones, but it is twice as good and half the price. Problem now is I want to update all of them. A great bit of kit.
Small enough to be discreet when placed in position.
Connection to the App was straight forward and is a useful tool allowing fine tuning of settings and access to stored files.
No pan and tilt facility available, although a wide field of vision, with adjustable zoom and privacy zones, allows for selective views to be targetted.
The light function is also useful at night or for locating in a dark position.
I use with an SD card installed to save files, which works well enough to save subscribing to cloud storage.
In all, good value for money and worth considerating for multiple purchases if wider surveillance is required.
The AOQEE C1 Security Camera is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their home or outdoor security.
One of the standout features of this camera is its 3MP resolution, which delivers clear and detailed images. Whether you’re monitoring your property during the day or night, the color night vision feature is impressive, thanks to the 2 LED lights. You can choose between infrared, full-color, and alarmed night vision modes, ensuring that you never miss anything important.
The motion detection system is highly sensitive and capable of distinguishing human movement, which minimizes false alarms. The real-time alerts sent directly to your phone via the Wansview Cloud app are reliable and quick, allowing you to stay informed about what’s happening around your property, no matter where you are.
With an IP65 waterproof rating, the AOQEE C1 is built to withstand various weather conditions, making it ideal for outdoor use. However, its versatility doesn’t stop there—it’s equally effective indoors for monitoring infants, pets, or elderly family members.
The camera offers flexible storage solutions, supporting both Micro SD cards and cloud storage, allowing you to choose the option that best suits your needs.
Overall, the AOQEE C1 Security Camera is a reliable and feature-packed option for both indoor and outdoor security. With its excellent image quality, advanced detection features, durable design, and smart integration, it offers great value for anyone looking to secure their property. Highly recommended for those in need of a comprehensive and easy-to-use security solution.

The app is very easy to use and is very intuitive And self-explanatory.
This camera is essentially an outdoor version of the Galayou G7 camera, of which we have a couple. It’s slightly larger, due no doubt to the weatherproofing, and the SD slot and reset button are behind a rubber flap. One disadvantage of this sealed outdoor design, in this case at least, is that the power cable is captive, ie sealed into the camera, which means you are stuck with the length. Whereas, the Galayou G7 has a USB-C socket so you could use a shorter USB-C cable if that suits the location. A mains USB adapter is supplied.
One thing that this AOQEE C1 camera does have, over the similar Galayou G7, is a white LED in addition to the infrared illumination, so it’s possible to view in colour in the dark (although of course it wouldn’t be dark once the LED comes on)
Setup using the Wansview app is very quick and simple, especially if you’ve done it before as we have.
Being a hard wired camera it offers full RTSP/ONVIF support so we can use it with our central PC software. For some reason battery powered cameras, including from this family of brands, do not offer RTSP. I think this is due to them going to sleep to save battery. Pity we can’t be given the choice though, I would willingly sacrifice battery life for RTSP support.
Image quality is very good, as with the other 2k cameras that we have. WiFi range also seems as good. In summary, great quality and excellent value.
Positives:
– camera is small, neat and smart
– picture quality is good and no issues with sound quality or volume
– very quick and easy to setup using the Wansview app, which I already use for other cameras in the home and find easy to use
– cloud subscription is available but I just use a micro SD, which simply overwrites the earliest files once full
– the twist off base attachment means the camera can be quickly removed from its mount, without the need for unscrewing the base itself
– person identification technology works very well and is really useful for us to identify people approaching our front door, rather than picking up motion from other objects or cars driving past
– settings for the motion detection area and sensitive work very well, and the option to exclude a privacy area is helpful
– infrared night vision (black and white) is clear, but the colour night vision using the light function is excellent and sets this camera apart – the light can be set to stay on permanently, or to turn on when motion is detected (again, very useful near a front door as it acts as a security light)
Negative:
– cable could be longer, allowing more flexibility to mount the camera in outdoor positions which have fewer power sockets available (but this is easily overcome with an additional extension cable)
Overall very good value for money, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
The camera lacks mechanical pan and tilt capabilities, so it has a fixed area of view but I liked that I can zoom in and out with excellent video resolution. It has limited battery life too so I just plug it to a power socket. What I liked most about it is it is very easy to install. It did not require so much fuss.
It serves very well for indoor use, the light and night vision settings give the options I needed. With the Intelligent light setting, the white lights automatically light up and the image becomes colored as triggered by detected motion at night. The camera is tiny, light but solid, so pleased with the physical dimensions. It also has a slot for local storage. the AOQEE C1 indoor/outdoor WiFi security camera is a solid choice at a fair price.
Ordered, arrived, unpacked and installed all without any issues. Picture quality day and night is superb, very easy to set up and install, the Wansview App is fantastic and no you do not need to pay for Cloud recording if you do not want to as the onboard recording is just fine. I like the night time light option, so when an event happens after dusk a white light is turned on giving you a full colour picture. You can select infra red (black & white picture) only if that is your preference. Motion detect as good as many much more expensive cameras, and power lead length is good as well. Highly recommended. Pictures to follow.
