Microphone needs improvement
There’s a bit of noise in the background coming from the microphone. However, when talking, the noise will be masked by the voice. At the end of the video, I’ve put a sample of recorded audio through the microphone, where you could hear the background noise & audio quality through the microphone.
Sound quality is adequate for the intended purpose and is certainly better than inbuilt microphones of personal computers etc. My sample showed a little background noise but it didn’t interfere with audio dictation level of accuracy. This is something which I use a lot. The headband and ear pads are comfortable even when worn for extended periods of time. Don’t expect Hi-Fi quality – it’s not designed for music but OK for normal conversational speech. Good length of cable and the addition of mic and headphone muting is good as well as the 6 levels of sound adjustment to the headphones. Mic placement cannot be set to optimum position and so room ambience can be a problem even though noise cancellation is reported to be used and hence my adjustment to 4 stars.
Needed a headset for better online meetings as people couldn’t hear me clearly without. Does the job nicely as now people can hear me clearly with noise blocked. The headset is also comfy to wear for long meetings.
The headset is really comfortable to wear. The sponge of the headset is soft and comfortable at all times. There is an added feature to be able to mute yourself and adjust the volume with the inline control which is easy to use. The sound quality it has is just superb, you can be heard clearly and hear others talking crisp and clear.
