I used this wooden monitor stand on my bedroom drawers to hold my laptop, making me feel much more organised. It was easy to assemble, and the two tiers provided great extra space. It’s sturdy enough to hold everything I need, and overall, it’s been a practical addition to my setup.

    Pros:

This stand has made my workspace so much better. It raises my monitor to eye level, no more neck strain and better posture for long hours of work.

I use the top for my monitor, and keep my desk clean. The shelf underneath is perfect for my keyboard and mouse, everything is within reach and my desk is tidy.

The solid wood is sturdy and nice. It adds a touch of class to my desk and feels built to last. The finish is great, and matches my office decor.

Easy to set up. Instructions were clear and all the hardware was included so I had it up in no time.

    Verdict:

This wooden monitor stand riser has been a great addition to my desk. It’s not only helped with ergonomics by raising my monitor to the right height but also given me storage for my keyboard and mouse. Style and function, worth it. Highly recommended for a more tidy and comfortable workspace.

Comes well packed in a box. Instructions are straight forward and it’s very easy to put together. Feels good and solid and fits well on a desk or even underneath as a stand to keep your desktop on. Took about ten minutes to put together and is a well finished wooden stand all in all.

For the price, it does the job okay. You also get a screwdriver included for assembling straight away. It broke after I was done, but lasted long enough to get the stand assembled. Good product overall. Can’t really fault it is what I expected.

    verrex Wooden Monitor Stand (B0D12HSS5K)
Clean, simple design but has improved my posture and reduced neck ache.
With only a few pieces, the assembly only took a few minutes. The separate pieces are all unmarked and clean so the table looks smart when complete with its very simple shape.
It is very sturdy, holds my monitor without any problems and gives me ample storage space beneath so it has improved my working environment considerably as the monitor is higher and gives me a better working posture. With the screen in a higher position, I believe it has also reduced shoulder and neck ache.
I am therefore very happy with my choice and, with the 15% off voucher, seems a very reasonable price

The monitor stand keeps my screen at a comfortable eye level, improving my posture and reducing neck and back pain. The sturdy MDF panel has a smooth, easy-to-clean surface. The storage space underneath helps keep my desk organised. Assembly was quick and easy, taking just a few minutes.
I’ve used it as a laptop stand and footrest, and it integrates perfectly with my home decor. Highly recommended for its quality and practicality!

I got this to help free up some space on my desk, as it is always busy with my laptop, monitor, paperwork and other miscellaneous items. It is predominantly used for my monitor, but I can easily change it and use it for my laptop should I wish.

When my laptop is not in use, it can be stored comfortably under the shelf in the cubby, making it duo purpose. It can also hold so many documents and books.

It is solid and a great addition to my desk.

I’m replacing a decent metal, smart-looking monitor stand, since my desk is white and this matches it. It also gives me an extra shelf to help declutter.
It’s relatively straightforward to assemble; there are only four pieces of wood. The instruction sheet has quite small pictures and the written instructions could have had better translation. It notes that you should place the rubber-topped screws into holes, yet does not make it clear to screw them in (the threads are not visible). Once assembled it is sturdy.
The unit does look cheap, so this is function over form. The build quality is good enough for the price. There were no splits or chips in the outer surface and no parts were missing.
It does provide a good way to raise your monitor, whilst offering storage space and its bright colour keeps the desk upbeat.

This is a fairly good monitor stand from Averrex but won’t be for everyone.

It’s easy to assemble, everything you need is included in the box. It is essentially made out of MDF with a wood grain effect white coating. For something like this it is fine but it is the kind of material that will get marked easily, especially along the edges.

It is fairly compact so check the depth suits your monitor stand and it could do with being a bit wider in my opinion. At 23.99, at time of review, it is probably slightly overpriced for what it is. When a voucher is available it makes it a more reasonable purchase.

I built this, which was VERY easy, and put it under my kid’s monitor in his bedroom. Not only does it raise the monitor up so he can sit better in front of it but he now has the extra space underneath it for all his school supplies for when he does his homework. Perfect for his ruler, pen case and notebooks. The build feels good and I am sure it will be able to withstand time quite well, can’t see it breaking very easily at all.

Very happy with it, would recommend!

This was easy to put together – took me about twenty minutes. And once built, you’re left with a perfect companion to your office desk.

I’ve had something similar before but that was too wide. This is perfect in size and my iMac stands on top of it perfectly with a little room each side for a calculator or sticky notes. I also like the shelf right below the surface as well as I keep extra A4 paper under there.

The bottom bit is not going to be wide enough for a keyboard with the numerics to the right. It’s perfect for my Apple keyboard as it’s much narrower than most other keyboards so it might not be perfect for PC users.

Main issue – won’t fit a full-size keyboard underneath – needs one either without a numpad, or without the separate cursor block as only 39cm width of space.

    Pros
Very quick to assemble with accurately placed factory-cut holes (advise using a little glue on the plastic end of the fixers you push into the holes.)
Fairly strong design despite being chipboard
    Useful shelf

    Cons
As mentioned – needs to be about 10cm wider

Currently this retails at 23.99 with a 30% voucher. I feel it’s good value at what is effectively 16.79. The full price is a little high though.

The Averrex Wooden Monitor Stand Riser is sturdy and supports up to 30 kg, perfect for organizing various devices like laptops and printers. The provided screwdriver is a flathead, but you’ll need a Philips head screwdriver for assembly. I used my electric screwdriver for a smoother setup. Despite this minor inconvenience, the stand effectively saves space and enhances desk ergonomics.

Up until now I have been using one on my daughters old art boxes to stand my monitor on (yes I know!) This is a much better solution. Assembly is straight forward run of the mill DIY if you have ever assembled flat pack. Its quick and easy. The finished stand is sturdy and the finish looks good. I would have liked it if the top hole was a drawer and unfortunately my keyboards too wide to pop away underneath it but other wise I am very happy.

I ordered the Averrex Wooden Monitor Stand. This is a white wood stand that arrived in 4 pieces. There are instructions and also a plastic bag containing quite a good screwdriver and all the different screws. The instructions make it tricky to build as they tell you to put the fasteners in at the end, but I think it might be easier to put them in as you go along. I have managed to build it, but it is a bit wobbly, maybe I didn’t do it right? The wood is nice and thick and chunky and it looks very nice though.

First thing I do when setting up a workstation is add a monitor stand.

    NOTE:
When you insert the metal posts, you MUST screw them down so its metal collar comes flush to the plastic insert. This works like a rawl plug and if you don’t, then the unit will not pull together as it should, but will be unstable.

I like that it is 2 tiered, but not the price.

Will not fit a standard full size keyboard underneath

    Feels sturdy.

Wood feels decent, will not fall apart easily.

    Easy to construct.

Screwdriver is reversible from flat to philips. Just pull the handle off and flip it.

One of the fasteners fell out quite easily, but was easy to put back in.

Will not fit a full size keyboard underneath, such as a Logitech K120.
