This balloon pump is a little unusual in many ways. Capable of inflating two balloons at the same time, if you have enough hands to cope!
The unit is not quiet and does get hot quickly so I wouldn’t want to rely on it for inflating large numbers of balloons quickly. It certainly needs a rest after 30 or so balloons.
It’s reasonably priced but I’d shop around as it doesn’t have a standout feature.
This balloon pump comes with two nozzles and an instruction booklet. It’s a simple designno on/off switch-you simply push down on the left-hand nozzle and it starts up, then stop pushing down and it stops. And if you have enough hands, or are more co-ordinated than I am, you can even blow two balloons up at once in literally seconds. On the negative side, it is a little noisy ( sounds a bit like a hoover), and it does get quite warm ( so I wouldn’t want to use it continuously for too long), but it does the job super-quick. Also, the little plug is an oddity- but it seems to work just like a normal plug. Looks-wise, it’s slightly confusing the black panel on the front doesn’t do anything – it’s like they were going to give it a cute face but never got around to it! so I might just add google eyes to mine. All in all, a really handy gadget to have if you’re organising a kids party or making a balloon arch, and at 17.99 at time of purchase it’s great value for money.
Received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend’s opinions.
This is a great blower for ballon kits which take a lot of puff. This is a nice compact unit with a sort of animal styling that blows balloons up just fine, one or two at a time. The feet keep the blower stable when using as it is quite light and the inflation time is good. Most importantly it is easy to remove the ballon to tie the knot. I thought 17.99 was a fair price but it maybe worth shopping around. Pleased with this productive if the UK mains plug looks a bit odd
This is surprisingly powerful for how tiny it is, you can inflate 2 balloons at one time however a bit tricky to tie off 2 at one time, the plug isn’t fused so could be a fire risk, just be sure to unplu aftertaste use, it’s quite noisy, inflates the balloons super fast, it can get hot which is a little unsettling and the air is quite warm it does say to only inflate a few balloons at a time. Not the cheapest, but beats blowing up endless balloons and takes up next to no space
Compact and effective automatic balloon pump, there are no controls or switches, just plug it in and put a balloon over the left hand outlet and it starts pumping when the nozzle is depressed. To use both outlets you load a balloon on the right hand outlet then activate them both by the left hand one.
The instructions do mention a deflation port, but this must be a typo as the sentence seems to be explaining that the right hand port is activated by the left hand port, so both can inflate at the same time. It has plenty of power to do two balloons quickly, you just need an extra pair of hands.
They supply two nozzle adapters for smaller balloons.
It has suction feet to secure it firmly to any surface; the black panel that looks like might be some sort of screen is just that, a black panel, possibly to make the unit look like a little figure.
Pumps balloons up really quickly and the automatic activation switch means it is not running when not required, which is good as it is quite loud.
It did get hot quite quickly and the fitted plug is not a UK compliant specification as it has no fitted fuse, so that will need to be replaced.
With my daughter’s birthday coming up, which will involve a balloon arch and other balloon decorations, don’t think it would be possible to blow up the number of balloons required without this device!
I have always used a cardboard pump in the past so this is a true upgrade. The advert states that it takes 3sec to pump up each balloon. Quicker maybe, but hold on to the balloon or it flies off a long way! Trivial comment really as this certainly makes getting ready for a party easier. You do need to be near a plug to use it too.
What a life saver if you have a lot of balloons to pump up. Operation is very easy, you just stick the balloon over the inflation tube and then press it a little and within no time it’s pumped up the balloon. No more running out of puff trying to blow up 40 balloons for a 40th party 🙂
It’s amazing how many balloons it can blow up. It does recommend that you only blow up a certain amount over a certain period of time and I suspect this is so you don’t burn out the motor inside (it does get quite hot quite quickly). The unit also has suction feet on the bottom that are there to keep the unit steady while you blow up the balloons. This also has a deflation tube that you can use (not sure I’d use that).
The price, value, operation and time it saves you is very good and I’d thoroughly recommend it.
Ballon pump which makes blowing up balloons a little easier. It comes with dual pumps so you can blow up two at a time. The machine has 4 suction cups at the bottom so it can be more stable on a flat surface. The machine isn’t too large and filled balloons quick and with ease. The only down side is it was a little noisy but otherwise good unit for a decent price
I did notice out of the box this plug was not like our standard ones. At first i was a bit unsure this was going to be any good as the unit itself is tiny.
Well after testing this out I will say it’s great. You do need to use the suction pads provided to stick it onto something stable as it’s really powerful.
You can get two balloons done at once but it would take two of you working together to achieve this, but if you have a large number of balloons I can’t fault this.
I do think there may have been something they planned to add with the screen on the front but didn’t looks a bit weird but hey it works really well and for an asthmatic makes life so much easier.
Plug is a bit weird but if this is for occasional use I can’t imagine anyone leaving it plugged in once finished using it – decent buy
An essential product if you are preparing for a party. Easily blows up balloons and fast. The design of the item is well thought out and quirky too. Comes in a variety of colours. Even though it is a little noisy, like a hairdryer, it gets the job done. I think I would have liked to have the option of having batteries as well as a plug so you can use it outside with ease.
The balloon pump is an unusual shape, and although I was doubtful it would be stable blowing up 2 balloons at once, it is actually fine. This is because it is quite heavy, and it has suction feet at the bottom.
The pump is very noisy, similar to a vacuum cleaner, so it isn’t ideal for blowing up balloons overnight as kiddos sleep. It is very very fast, and I would say as fast, or even faster than the advertised 3 seconds per balloon.
The balloon pump turns on with pressure on the left hand nozzle, so it is easiest to prepare the balloon and the right hand side first.
The pump gets hot very quickly, and the air is pumps out is quite warm.
The plug is quite an unusual version of the UK plug, I’ve not seen one like it before. It is very small, and all one piece without anywhere to open it up and look at or change the fuse. This, combined with how hot the pump get does make me nervous to use it, and I wouldn’t leave it plugged in unattended.
This balloon pump works well and has a cute design.
I wasn’t entirely sure how big the ‘compact’/’mini’ pump would be and was expecting it to be smaller than it actually is… It’s about the same height as a normal smartphone and a little wider.
The pump has rubber feet and sits sturdily on a flat surface.
It has two nozzles that can be used to pump up a balloon simultaneously.
One acts as a switch when pushed and air comes out of both regardless of whether you’re only blowing up one or two balloons at the same time.
The plug is a little unusual in style – very compact and the fuse is not replaceable.
Pumping up a balloon takes around a second. It’s quite noisy while working, but I was expecting it to be.
It also gets a little hot. The unit is warm after only pumping up 5 balloons, for example.
There are other styles of balloon pumps available that are cheaper than this but I haven’t tried one of those. I can confirm this one works well. Flawless so far.
Overall 4 stars from me for this ‘mini’ balloon pump.
I was very pleased to receive this balloon pump, as we recently had a party and had to blow up quite a few balloons manually, which soon stops being fun This electric balloon pump is like stepping into another world, literally, alien included! I thought the design was really cute and well thought out, having air coming out of the little guy’s antennae.
We were a bit apprehensive about the UK plug, though, as we had never seen such a small plug before. But it seemed to fit well into our socket, and the device worked fine. We just inflated a couple of balloons to try it, and it was very impressive.
This is a powerful and noisy device, almost like a hairdryer, but is really effective, taking just seconds to inflate two balloons in one go. You still have to tie the knots, so better to have someone to help, especially if you’re doing two at a time. It’s also advised not to use the inflator for more than 15 minutes to avoid overheat or damage, something to take into account if you have lots of balloons to blow.
Happy to recommend it!
