This barbecue cover is true to size and is made from a really heavy duty waterproof material. It’s really thick and not likely to rip easily, it’s like a woven fabric and looks smart.
The cover is really easy to fit in place, it has adjustable straps around the middle to cinch it in place, however this doesn’t stop wind and water from getting to the bottom, so I would recommend tucking the excess fabric under something at the base.
It does work well at keeping the barbecue and anything else under it perfectly dry it tucked in, and is really resistant to being blown off due to the straps.
Overall, this works well and is a high quality cover. I’d recommend it.
I have a small garden and I am a fan of barbecue so I decided to protect the grill with this cover, especially considering that it rains quite often.
I’ve been using it for the last two weeks and during the rain the grill was dry and it looked like new.
Having quite large measurements, it fits well not only on my grill but it is also compatible with many others.
One of the best features of this cover is the fact that it has adjustable straps which helps secure it in place so it does not blow off in windy conditions. The cover is also quite easy to clean, just requiring wiping it down with the dump cloth and it looks as new.
Besides the fact that this cover protects my grill from rain and bad weather, it also looks nice in my small garden and it is not just functional but it is also looking good so overall I consider that this is a good option for the grill.
When I took delivery of this barbeque cover I was struck by the weight of the parcel. This is one thick, heavy duty cover!
I’ve only had it a few weeks but I’m already confident it will last a few years. it’s successfully stood up to quite a few downpours and proved it’s waterproof qualities, and the adjustable straps help secure it nicely and stop if flapping in strong winds. Time will tell how it weathers and how much it fades in strong sun, but from my experience so far I’d highly recommend it. Especially given the price.
After carefully measuring my Charbroil 4-burner barbecue, I decided that one of these covers would be a good fit. As the photos show the cover fits almost perfectly. There are two straps at the sides which fasten with a plastic buckle and can be pulled tight to secure the cover. There is however no means of fastening or tightening the base of the cover.
The fabric feels waterproof and durable although it hasn’t yet had to stand up to any severe weather. Due to the lack of any fastenings at the base, I think the cover may flap around in the wind. I am also slightly concerned that the straps at the side may result in excessive wear on the inside of the cover where it meets the corners of the barbecue. Only time will tell.
Overall, I feel that this is a good value cover if you can find one to fit your grill.
I have had lots of covers for various pieces of garden furniture recently and some have been excellent, while others have been at best only average. I am pleased to say that this cover is in the excellent group.
The cover is made from good grade waterproof vinyl on the interior with a textured waterproof fabric coating on the exterior and all the joins are stitched rather than just glued. This textured fabric coating gives the cover a decent weight and allows it to sit neatly over the barbecue and helps it to stay securely in place from its own weight. But is does also have securing straps to ensure the cover stays in place should a strong wind unexpectedly get up.
I chose a cover about 20cm larger than my barbecue so it is easy and quick to put it on should it be needed. This size choice works great and can be unfolded and put in place in under 2 minutes at a rush.
I really like the quality of this cover and hope it should last a number of years, so based on my experiences with it so far I can recommend it.
The only extra thing I would have liked would have been a decent storage case/pouch in which to fold the cover up and store it in when not in use. All this cover came in was a thin plastic bag.
