I’ve only used this a handful of times, so far. The main reason for this is because I only play snooker or pool on rare occasions.
The size of the cue Makes it ideal for adults and older teens.
In terms of value for money, I would say this is a strong recommendation. It doesn’t really cut corners where other budget ones would.
Regardless of it being a budget piece of equipment, is still retains the quality you expect from the brand.
All in all it’s relatively lightweight easy to play with and looks good.
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this cue for the price. The ash wood feels smooth and the cue itself seems well-balanced. It comes with a soft case which is good for protecting the cue when I’m not using it. Admittedly, the case isn’t the most glamorous, but it does the job. I think this is a nice value set for beginner or casual players.
The cue itself is made from North American Ash and has a nice bit of weight to it. It feels pretty solid. The finish is nice and smooth and easily glides over my hand. It’s super straight with no curvature. It’s very easy to assemble too. It screws together very nicely. The soft case is fine but I’d have preferred something with a shoulder strap and possibly a pocket to put chalk in.
Overall I’m very happy with the cue. Highly recommended.
The BCE Protg Mark Selby 2 Piece Snooker/Pool Cue is a quality choice for enthusiasts. The North American ash shaft is nice, and the ebonised four-point butt with a sleek black finish adds a touch of elegance. Endorsed by Mark Selby, it features a durable 9.5mm leather tip suitable for snooker or English pool. The included soft case is a practical addition for protecting the cue.
Overall, it’s a solid and stylish cue that performs well for both snooker and pool.
This cue has a good balance and is easy to assemble by simply screwing the parts together. It has a smooth glide and feels sturdy, providing a decent weight when striking the cue ball. Having played pool and snooker for years, I can say that while it may not offer the same feel as a 3/4 cue, it still leaves a positive impression. Overall, I am very pleased with this cue.
This pool cue is good but not the best, the end of the handle doesn’t have a nice finish. The rest of the cue is smooth but no lacquer finish also is over priced for one piece. Comes with a protective cover that doesn’t have a handle to put it in you shoulder. Overall is OK. Thanks
I’ve been playing pool for almost 40yrs and still have my first cue I ever bought. I’ve owned a few and still have a couple of nice ones but always stick to my original.
This cue is very similar to mine and I immediately took a fancy to it. It’s dead straight and has a lovely smooth finish which glides through my fingers with no drag or stickiness. The tip is very suitable for my game and a good size.
This really deserves a nice case to complement it, as the one supplied is a bit flimsy, but still good all the same. No rough bits, chips, bumps or burs on the one I’ve received. I could easily give this 5 stars.
