I’ve been doing Pilates for a while and have been keen to introduce a ball to my exercises. This seems like a good quality ball, it arrives deflated but it is quick and easy to inflate with the pump provided. It was a little tricky getting the plug back in the ball when I took the pump out as the ball tried to deflate again, you have to be super quick!
If you are unsure how to use the ball then there are a few exercises included on the back of the instructions. It would be good if it explained how to do the exercise as it just shows you in pictures. It’s easy enough to get further instructions for exercises online though.
Great for improving your balance and helping to tone up.
A good strong and durable, well made`plastic’ pilates ball. It does include a pump firm easy inflation.
appears to be staying inflated too at the mo, so time will tell longer with more use
This 23cm ball was supplied deflated in a lovely purple colour. It comes with an adapter and a pump to blow it up plus 2 straws in case you would prefer a lung workout and to blow it up manually. There is also a little claw tool to remove the inflation plug from the ball without breaking your nails and a workout / quickstart guide leaflet included which can also be downloaded from the Beenax website.
In use the ball was easy to blow up with the pump, but you do have to be pretty quick to yank the pump out and insert the plug to stop it deflating. Once inflated the plug seems to hold the air in well and it doesn’t seem to have deflated with a couple of weeks of use. The surface of the ball is quite grippy and it can take my bodyweight with no problem so it is easy to use and perfect for carrying out the exercises on the included workout sheet. Overall this is a great little Pilates ball, I am very happy with it and would recommend it.
I really like this ball. It is my favourite colour, to begin with, but it also comes with its own pump, which makes it easy to inflate instead of trying to find the correct head for the pump. It did take a while to inflate nonetheless and I always worry that the plug will come out, but so far so good.
It is a reasonable price, but consequently, is not as thick as other, more expensive (professional) balls. However, hopefully it will last long enough to get my core strong again.
In the meantime, my baby and I have great fun rolling it back and forth as it is soft enough for him to grip easily.
Received this product through the Amazon Vine programme and this review is based on my girlfriend’s opinions.
This is a nice sized exercise ball that is fairly easy to inflate (although getting the stopped back in takes a bit of practise) and easy to use. The material is a decent quality and the book of exercises is very useful For 12.99 I think the value for money is ok.
This mini Pilates ball is quite handy and versatile and a useful addition to my fitness arsenal. One of the most noticeable benefits is how effective it is for core workouts. The ball is made from a soft, flexible PVC material that feels durable and high-quality. The anti-burst feature gives me peace of mind during intense sessions. The non-slip texture is a fantastic addition. It ensures the ball stays in place during exercises, which is especially important for maintaining proper form in yoga and pilates.
The included tube and the ability to inflate it with my breath meant I didn’t need to hunt down a pump. Its compact size also makes it super easy to store, fitting right into my gym bag without taking up much space. It’s so convenient to have an effective workout tool that I can carry around effortlessly. The ball came with detailed instructions for some exercises, which added a great value to the kit.
While the inflation process is generally easy, I did find it a bit tricky to get the ball to the perfect firmness initially. It took a few tries to get it right, but once I did, it maintained its shape well. Adjusting the firmness to the exact level of softness or firmness can be a bit of a guessing game. A more precise way to measure this would be useful.
Overall, it’s a versatile, durable, and incredibly effective mini Pilates ball for a wide range of exercises.
I ordered this ball as it is similar to the one used at my physiotherapist. Due to a balance disorder, one of my exercises was to throw this ball from one hand to another. To make this easier to catch, I under inflated the ball to allow it to be grabbed with one hand.
It is absolutely perfect for this use. The ball has a subtle texture so this helps to grip it.
I’m sure it works just as well for other exercise purposes.
Takes seconds to blow up and you get a spare stopper should you need one.
Pilates — mind and body exercises combining a series of precise breathing and core strengthening movements.
A bright, sparkling, rich purple coloured super soft ball that is easy to grip bearing the white ‘beenax’ logo.
The pack contains a bung removal tool and a couple of straws and bungs; also a small chart suggesting a series of exercises you can lookup.
Simply blow through the straw, slide your finger over the hole and ease the bung in.
I’m not sure why the small hand pump was included, no fittings, and ‘blowing it up’ is more than ample.
Now all I have to do is persuade my small dog that it’s MY toy.
This is a handy little set, you get the ball (deflated), the pump to pump it up, a tube to self inflate if you want to / or if the pump breaks/you lose it, and a spare stopper.
It’s a little ball used to fit in-between legs or hold for sit ups (there is a card with some exercise ideas), there is also a card offering some other exercises.
I do think this is good for the price.
[I received this product for free, in exchange for an honest review, as part of the Amazon Vine programme. That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.]
I requested the ‘beenax 23cm Soft Pilates Ball with Pump – 9 Inch Exercise Ball, Mini Barre Ball, Gym Ball’ to use for physiotherapy at home.
The ball arrived deflated with a pump and accessories included in the box. There is also a leaflet showing how to blow up the ball, some Pilates exercises and a link to exercises to do, with the ball, online.
The ball was easy to inflate. It has a grippy surface and is exactly what my physiotherapist wants me to use for homework! The price at the time of this review is fair, given that the pump and access to exercises is included. I am pleased and happy to recommend it, 4 stars.
