Here is a PS4 Style controller in a red and white and black patterned shell.
It comes in a plain cardboard box.
It comes with a set of thumb grips, and has the PS4 touchpad.
I had a lot of difficulty pairing it with my PC as the pairing instructions are fair from obvious! To this effect I’ve included the instructions here.
It seems to be working well now that it’s all set up, it contains a rechargeable battery, and even includes the light at the back good for using with a PS4 camera.
I have been using this controller as my main controller now for a few days. Can’t find any faults with it. The additional grips you get are a really nice feel on my thumbs. I’m using it on a PC and I have been using a longer cable than the one provided as I don’t have bluetooth for my PC.
I even opened a game where it said this controller wasn’t supported but it mapped automatically and works exactly how it should do which is fantastic!
I really liked the black white and red colours of this PS4 controller, and of course the analogue stick grips which are good additions and look and feel great.
It feels nice in my hands and all the controls are easy to reach.
Seeing as it’s going to be in my hands for hours at a time, comfort is important and this controller has a nice sculptured shape and a grippy ergonomic feel.
I ordered this to play using an Nvidia shield which means I was unable to experience feedback which is the shield and not an issue with the controller but I did notice there’s no noticeable latency even when I was playing fast paced games which reply on quick actions and responsive controllers.
Build seems reasonable.
The action buttons are not quite the quality of the official one but are by no means poor.
It pretty robust and although I’m not saying it’s ok to launch it across the room if you are, let’s say, ‘an emotional gamer’ but if you do id say it’s likely to survive.
It’s not overly complicated, and simple to use and set up, so my son can use it and my grandkids can also use it too.
It appears to have
good connectivity when connected via Bluetooth, which makes it hassle free with no stuttering or drops.
It’s certainly budget friendly and in my opinion it does a great job for an inexpensive controller.
It has also saved me a packet as an official controller for the shield is well over 100.
